    I have a GC1710 TLB with over 700 hours over 5 years, that led me to buy another, a Massey 2850e, they make a great pair. The 2850e is a BEAST! Be careful near the house, you'll move it. I compared one for one with JD to try and justify price. Forget it, I don't know how they do it Massey provides tremendous value for your money. On the GC1710, I replaced a leaky hydraulic quick connect and the fluids, zero repairs. After a year and 100 hours, the 2850e is living up to his little brothers reputation. Did a cross country trip with the family in an RV and stopped to see this guy. He is just as friendly in person as he appears on the video. He really emphasizes using your local dealer and he means it, Watson's is ours and they are great. However, if I lived next to Vahrenberg, , they would get my money for sure. Happy to answer any questions, I have done extensive modifications for lights, winches, etc.

    I realize this video is almost two months old, i have a question on the 2800E series, when using the hydro drive and brush hogging how do you keep a constant speed? is there cruise control or some type of throttle hold? I like this model size and looking to purchase it to replace my Massy Harris Ferguson 50, its been a good tractor but its time for a upgrade.

      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 3 lety

      To the Left of the Console there is Orange Handled lever that is Cruise Control to maintain the same speed on 2700E/2800E Series Tractors.

    I want to run a wood chipper off the back. I know the M series has a button on the rear fender to engage the rear pto without having someone in the seat. Also, my Kubota can do the same by folding over the seat before engaging the pto. Is this how it is done on the 2860E?

  • @ggauth

    What is the narrowest overall rear width you can set up on the 2800?

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 2 lety

      Per the Operators Manual with the 16.9x24 Ag tires the Narrowest Center to Center Spacing is 52.4" (1330 MM) that is the narrowest of all tire types and wheel combination settings.

    Have you had any problems with the hydrostatic transmissions overheating or running hot after alot of continued use ?

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 2 lety

      Never had any customers comment on 2800E or 2700E (same tractor different engine) comment on heating issue. Only issue on compact we heard was another dealer used after market 3rd function kit and did not install bypass valve and deadheaded the hydraulic oil and is no no on Open Center Hydraulics.

      We do not quote selling prices online since pricing and programs change often. But 2022 List Price is $38,830.00 USD. Contact your local dealer for Current Cash and Low Rate Financing Programs. If in West Central Missouri Contact us at Vahrenberg Implement.

      @@VahrenbergImplement I thought Massey's were cheaper than John Deere. For that money I can get a 5055 e that weighs a half ton plus more with a wet clutch and stronger axles and transmission.

    Does MF offer self leveling loaders? I'm not convinced they'recall that great.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 3 lety +1

      Not in the Compact and Small Utility Loaders but the 4700 Series on Up offer Mechanical Self Leveling Option. Some people like Self Leveling and others hate it. There are some benefits but those use to conventual loaders like to remain in control of both circuits.

    Problem with Massey is no price information on different models. I don't want to drive all over Texas comparing features and base price.

      @VahrenbergImplement  Před rokem

      Best Place for Pricing is contact your local dealer as they can provide actual sales pricing. Plus the selling dealer is responsible for warranty so buying local is the best advice. Massey Ferguson has a Build Your Tractor Program you can get List Pricing information.

    There is no cvt transmission that has a clutch! U r full of crap saying the 3 ranges r synchronized. If u have to stop to shift they arent synchronized!

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 3 lety +3

      You have Ranges to Hydrostat Transmission. Some 2 Range, Some 3 Range. The Range Shifts are either Synchronized and Some are Non-Synchronized for the Ranges. Non-Synchronized Ranges require a Dry Clutch to Shift Between the Ranges like the 1700E/1800E Series Massey Ferguson. The 2700E/2800E and Premium 1800M/2800M are Synchronized Ranges and they do not have a Clutch. Not full of Crap know the difference because we sell both with Massey Ferguson Products and know the internal workings and differences. A Hydro is not a CVT either. We Sell Hydrostats and CVT Transmissions too and are two totally different Transmission designs.

      @@VahrenbergImplement well holy crap who still sells ancient cvt/ hydrostat that need a clutch? Apparently massey! My 30 yr old new holland doesn't need a clutch... i dont recall any new tractor brand that is worth a crap that needs a clutch on their compact hydro trans...

    • @crazyhass84
      @crazyhass84 Před 3 lety +1

      @@VahrenbergImplement cvt is continuously variable transmission. What is a hydraulic pump put on a geared trans orther than a cvt.. u r a sales guy so i know its hard for u.
      Every cvt in the big tractors has hydraulic over geared trans. Without the hydraulic portion its not continuously variable...otherwise its just a geared trans with a lot of gears.

      @Ted Smoth69: Pretty much every tractor brand offers economical tractors with Non-Synchronized Hydrostat. Massey Ferguson offers different series of Tractors like the economical 1800E Series has non-synchronized Hydrostat, but our Economical 2800E and 1800M/2800M Premium Tractors both feature synchronized Hydrostats. Non-Synchronized Hydrostats are very popular in the basic - economical Hydrostat Compact Tractors...where some of the money is saved on cost to purchase. How many times are you going to shift ranges??? Most put in a range and work it and it helps those buyers purchase a NEW Tractor and tractor that meets their budget and feature level needs. But for those that want more the Premium Series Full Featured Tractors offer even more advanced hydrostats. Might want to watch our video we did to teach of the numerous different types of featured Hydrostat Transmission: czcams.com/video/iq_lDOm8T_w/video.html

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 3 lety +1

      @Ted Smith69: We understand CVT Transmission. AGCO the parent company of Massey Ferguson is also the parent of FENDT. FENDT invented the CVT Transmission called the Vario. It's the only True CVT Transmission on the farm equipment market, Most other CVT/IVT are variable speed Powershift Transmission with lots of clutch packs for the ranges and use hydraulics to vary speed in the ranges which is very inefficient. The FENDT Vario is used in the Massey Ferguson Tractors and called the DynaVT Transmission. This Transmission uses hydraulic braking pressure to slow the Ring Gear to create a True Variable Speed Transmission that is always using Mechanical transfer of power to the ground. Thus the reason it is the "World's Most Efficient Tractor Transmission" roughly 93% transfer of power. Here is video on the DynaVT with Clutchless CVT: czcams.com/video/UFnh0iXSSMc/video.html
