    Massey-Ferguson tractors keep getting better and better. They are just leaveing all others in the dust. My baby 1736 power-shuttle is a real "Master Piece" of a real tractor. Have to get one of these 2860m's soon! Great vidio---keep them comming!

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 3 lety

      Yes that 1736 Premium is a Real Master Piece....and Massey Ferguson is continuing to listen to their customers and owners and evolving from their suggestions. So glad Massey Ferguson keeps making better tractors than others than figuring our ways to cut corners and make them cheaper and cheaper.

    I've never seen a shuttle shift work lime that? That is definitely the quietest 60 HP tractor operation I've seen.

      That is How the Power Shuttle (Hydraulic Shuttle) operates it been used on larger tractors for many, many years all the way up to the 8740S (400 Engine HP) has Power Shuttle. Yes that is super quiet tractor. One of the advantages of ISEKI Engine.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 3 lety +1

      On Road and Off Road Diesel are the Same. Off Road Diesel is dyed Red because you are not paying the Road Taxes and the dye will stay in fuel for long time and can be checked by Fuel Inspectors if you try to use Off Road Diesel, On Road without paying the taxes.

      2800M Series are the Premium Full Featured Tractors from Massey Ferguson. I think that is the Grand L Series from Kubota. The MX Series is like the 2800E Series from Massey Ferguson.

    Love the Massey. I purchased the 1760M but prior to purchase, check out a 2860M to compare specs. The 2860M is heavier and a tad longer than the 1760 so I opted for the 1760 just to have a slightly lighter weight than the 2860M. One thing I like about the 2860 is the Cat 1 and Cat 2 ball size on the 3 point hitch lift arms. The 1760M does not have that. Is that something I can purchase from Massey and switch over? Can I get the 2860M lower lift arms and put on the 1760M? Thanks Doug. Love your videos. 👍🏽🙂

      You have eHydro or PowerShuttle? Platform or Cab? The Powershuttle Versions have been larger than the eHydro Models even on previous generations 1759 Premium, 1760M and the 2860M. I can look up arms to see if interchangeable on www.AGCOPartsBooks.com but need to know which version.

      I just looked and the same arm is used on both the 1760M and 2860M so you should be able to purchase just the sliding telescopic ball end of the arm and upgrade to the new Cat1/2 Ball Ends of the 2860M. Price is approximately $130.00 each for the link ends.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 2 lety

      The Power Shuttle is a Hydraulic Controlled Shuttle and does not require use of the clutch to change directions. It does require clutch to change the Gears and Ranges. Gears can be done on the go as they are synchronized but range shift must come to stop to change ranges.

      Prebooking an incoming order is the Smart Way to Buy with the Huge increases in Demand of Products happening now. Visit your local dealer sit down and spec out the tractor exactly how you want it and complete a Retail Order and it will lock in Prices and Programs for Future Order Coming in. Massey Ferguson is prioritizing orders coming in to fill retail sold orders first and then ship stock orders. That why your not going to find one in stock...we have 2 of this same model presold to our customers just waiting for the orders to arrive and they will be enjoying their new tractors soon! What size plows can 2860M pull?

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 11 měsíci

      There are Lots of Variables that effect Plowing. Biggest is on How Deep and What Type of Soil you are plowing.
      Tire Type and Wheel Spacing: Ag versus R4 or Turf, and are you setting spacing to get in the tire in the furrow. Ask our resident Oliver Plowing Expert he said a 2 Bottom 16" for that tractor would get more done that 3 Bottom but in loose and easy pulling soils possibly 3 bottom. Too Many Variables to fit all the numerous soil conditions, tractor settings and then plow types...some plows pull easier than other brands.

      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 2 lety +1

      You could run a RhinoAG TS12 Flex Wing Cutter (12' Cut) behind the 2860M it only needs 35 PTO HP to run that Rotary Cutter.

      You need more PTO HP for 15' Cutters. Minimum to run the machine on flat dry ground is 50 PTO HP most customers around here are running 100Engine/80 PTO HP Minimum. You have to add HP for hills and soft ground and other factors. I wouldn't sell a 2860M for a 15' Cutter...customer ain't going to be happy.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 2 lety

      But not everyone needs them so why raise the price of the tractor even higher for those that don't need them ??? Actually the new 2800M series seen a price decrease over the previous 2700M when introduced. A large part of that was the engine and emission cost savings going back to ISEKI Engine versus Shibaura. ISEKI builds the complete powertrain and assembles the tractors for Massey Ferguson. So it made it lower cost, using one supplier.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 2 lety

      Cab Model offers one Rear Remote as Standard Equipment. And can Dealer install up to 3 on Cab and Non-Cab Models. So those that want them can get them. Dealer can install them for you. You can get eHydro in the Cab 2860M. Here is video we did on it: czcams.com/video/TeLa2JrJWNQ/video.html
      Hydrostat Transmission use more Engine HP and the larger the tractor the more it needs. So 60 Engine HP is about the Max that manufacturers use because of the inefficiency of the transmission. Massey Ferguson DynaVT starts at 140 Engine HP and this AGCO CVT Transmission from Fendt provides the most efficient HP to ground and "feels" like a hydro and has infinite speeds from 60 feet per hour to 33mph. That is the Transmission for variable speed and big horsepower.
