    I have had an 1835M cab hydrostat for a year. I have put 200 hrs on it so far. I have used it for plowing snow, blowing snow, box blade, rear blade, Big square bale handling and feeding and digging with the front loader. I am beyond impressed with this tractor. It has great power to size ratio. It can pick up big square bales to full lift height and stack one on top of 2. The hydrostat is fast and smooth, with the selectable response allowing you to tune it to your ability. During a large snow storm last year I spent 13 hours plowing snow with it. It was such a pleasure that I hadn't realized that it had been that many hours until I checked the time at the end of the day. I am 6' tall and have more than enough leg room to operate it all day without cramping. The cab is quiet and comfortable with heat easily capable of below zero in a heavy wind while feeding cows and AC that has been used at over 110 while working it hard. I am not new to tractors, and this is the smallest tractor that I have used. Most of the tractors that I have operated have been 50-80HP and I have about 30,000 hours of operating one. I love your videos and really think you are a great ambassador for MF.

      Thanks for the detailed testimonial. We love hearing how others like their Massey Ferguson Products and how they are using them. And most of all how fits their needs. Thanks for the comments and watching our video.

    Beautiful tractors. Is it possible to get a 1835/1840M with R14 tires?

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před rokem

      Factory Tire Options are Industrial, Ag, Turf or Nokia Snow Tires. The R14 pattern is similar to the Industrial Tires Massey Ferguson is using with swooped tread design.

    Can you get a 4n1 bucket for this model? I know this model accepts 72" mower but can you use a 60" mid-mount mower as well?

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 2 lety

      ALO Quicke offers MPC Series 4-N-1 MultiUse Buckets in 54", 66' or 72" sizes. We actually just released a video not long ago showing the 180MPC (72") Bucket on an 1840M we used to demonstrate. Here the video: czcams.com/video/gT0C24_d6Bs/video.html
      72" is the only Mid Mower Option for the 1800M Series Tractors.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před 2 lety +1

      Since AGCO distributes ISEKI in Australia I don't think you'll see Massey Ferguson branded compacts that would compete with the ISEKI line since ISEKI builds these tractors for Massey Ferguson.

    I’m a Massey Ferguson man through and through. The only thing I don’t like is the R4 tires on tractors. I would have to have R1 AG tires.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před rokem +1

      Ag Tires are an option on all models except the 1526. Most of our customers do not want the aggressiveness of R1 Ag Tires and settle for the R4 Tire. But you can sure get them or order a tractor with R1 Ag Tires.

  • @musicgroopie1

    Does it have an icu . I'm looking for a simple engine without computer modules.

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před měsícem +1

      All NEW tractors above 25 engine HP are going to have engine controllers. You would need to look at GC Series or 1526 to find a tractor without engine controller. We have had very little issues with Engine Controllers on the Massey Ferguson Tractors we have sold. Great thing with electronic engine controllers is they can reduce fuel consumption as they only use the amount of fuel you need for the task and injected at the exact right time to provide better power and performance.

      All 1840E have the ISEKI with DPF that Regen based on soot load. Very simple system and been very troublefree. Alot was learned from the previous DPF in 1700E Series what not to do.

      Not everyone needs them and want to pay for hydraulics remotes if they don't need. Pretty simple dealer installed item and dealers can install up to 3 sets of remotes on the 1800M Series.

      @@VahrenbergImplement they should at the very least have 1 set of rear hydraulics . I can understand on the sub-compact tractor . But anything from compact up should have rear hydraulics .

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před rokem

      I bet 90%+ of my compact buyers under 50hp models do not use rear remotes. Very limited implements to use with this size tractor that need rear hydraulics. I'd rather see the price of the tractor lower and add on accessories to meet the needs of my customers than increase the price of the tractor for something they will not use. Allows them to use that money saved for implements or accessories they find value in. I understand you may have a need but the majority of buyers do not need.

      @@VahrenbergImplement then explain why so many of them buy the backhoe attachments ? And I also bet most of them don't know all the different attachment they could be buying and using . You know if Ventrac wouldn't have priced themselves out of the market they would have taken over the compact market . Atleast they was smart enough to think outside of the box . Just look at all the attachments they have created for there machine . The same can be done and is starting to be done for the compact tractors . When I wad looking at New Holland compact tractors I noticed there's already had 1 set of rear hydraulics . You now I thought I wanted a Massey Ferguson but after looking closer at there competition . I have realized Massey Ferguson may not have the best compact tractors on the market . Because they don't realize all the possibilities they can be used for .

    • @VahrenbergImplement
      @VahrenbergImplement  Před rokem +1

      Backhoes do not use rear remotes, they use Power Beyond Hydraulics that supply Pressure and Return Flow to the Backhoe. Control of hydraulics is done through the Backhoe Valves. When you buy Massey Ferguson Backhoe it comes with the Power Beyond Hydraulics Plate and Hoses. You made a great point if you add too many features you can out price yourself in the market. Remotes are very easy dealer install option and lets a dealer Customize the Tractor the Make it the Way the Customer Wants and Price they want to pay. If Massey Ferguson added remotes it's going to raise the price of every tractor. Keep the price lower and customize to match each customers needs. That's one of the things we do at Vahrenberg Implement is Custom Tractors with the accessories and options to match the customers needs and most importantly to match their budget. Why pay for something you don't need or use???
