I wired mines up like how u did it but wen my headlights are on it keeps flashing when they are off the brake light works normally. Can somebody help me!!

Still have this same diffuse on for 2 years now….still holding on strong…only issues I have rn the gloss finish on the top is fading and moisture got into the led housing causing the bottom 3 LEDs to short out …. Diffuser itself is still on the car solid.
Yo what were those things you used on the wires? Sorry i’m kinda confused you put one on each from the diffuser, did you do the same on the tail light wires also?
They're called T-Tap connectors ... you can get them at Autozone or Home Depot in the wiring sections. The dark blue connectors clip onto the wires from the wires coming from the car. when you clip it on it will splice into the wire without having to actually splice it yourself. Then you just connect the wires through the t tap connectors. Basically making it plug and play.
I just got a diffuser and mine came with a red black and white wire any help how to connect the wire it’s a 2021 q50

Tap the yellow and green wire together for the strobe feature
Is the diffuser light always on and becomes brighter once you brake or ?
It stays constant brightness when I’m off or on the brakes

Only thing is, it might be flashing constantly until you let off the brake. I’ll have to play with the wires again so I can confirm. I’ll let you know soon.

Can anyone help me out I got mine but it’s a bit different mine only has the red and black cable and I tried black to black red to red and nothing but my brake taillights still work
Make sure you’re connected to the harness coming from the car itself to the tail light not the harness coming from the tail light

Wired mines works fine but now the light only light up from the bottom go gotta tap the light so it all lights up smh

@@BananaBoy3929 No problems nor no fitment issues. Works properly. Just the diffuser I have constantly blinks while on the brakes. I asked the developer and he said that how it was designed so 🤦🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️ get a flash controller

It won’t …. 2018+ Q’s have a different shaped rear bumper

2019 has a different style bumper … you’ll need the one specific for 2018+

Nah at the time I bought it, it was around 100 … I was talking about the carbon fiber diffusers

Just like the first day I installed it…. Only thing is the led gets moisture in over time so just make sure the light is weather sealed before installed
