The minute you acknowledged that they were actually manifestation boards, my spirit cried “exactly!” We have allowed the new age to seep in to our lives (some unintentionally) and that’s what our Holy God is revealing to us. I know the power of fasting and praying and leaving things in God's hands. There was a period in my life when I wanted to study medicine, but the doors were closed to me and I was very anxious and I fasted and left it to God. Now I'm going to studying to be a nurse and I have seen that it is a door that God opened and I feel deeply protected and grateful.❤
Friends, I was told I am being evicted today. I have two months. I promised to follow His steps and be willing to walk away from it all if He asked. And He has. Please pray for me. Steffany Gretzinger talks about that...that when we lay down what we think we drream of, He Himself becomes the dream. At almost 37, and still unmarried, I've learned that surrender is laying down the expectations we've had about things He never told us to have. And having those expectations about things we didnt even ask Him about, it leads to alot of disappointment. So when we release those things to Him, and empty ourselves of what we hope or dream for, or desire... when we do that, we can receive what He actually has for us, and its ALWAYS better than we could have hope for.
I felt the same, Ashley. I have given up a lot of things because I know that without Jesus, I have nothing. The only constant in my life is Jesus. I cannot live without him, and I would not be living right now if Jesus did not save me. Jesus is enough. He is the way, the truth and the life. I no longer live for myself. I live for God. I know that I will face hardships in life, but God will be with me (with all of us) through our entire life. Amen

yesterday I found out that I didn’t make the varsity cheer team and I was devastated. I tried to think of all the reasons why the desire in my heart didn’t happen, or what I would do next. I felt so lost and confused, but I realized that there was nothing wrong with my desire, but that I should be focusing on Jesus. I should want what God wants, loves and purposes to me. Its hard to trust what God is going to plan for me, I was convinced God would fail me. But, God will never fail me nor forsake me. I surrendered it all to Him, wherever he takes me I know that it is all for the greater good. I need to let him lead my life. I shouldn’t idolize things above him and nothing should be fighting for a spot in the center of my heart but Him! You are not alone in this!
I so relate to your experience! This is the second year I'm trying to get into the degree I thought I had to do, but I feel like God may be guiding me to something else. It would be a decision my family would not agree with, and it would be a long road to walk with them. But I still trust Him. I'm scared, but He is still Lord over my life and over my future. Should I have visions and dreams?” And I felt the Holy Spirit telling me “DONT MAKE A BOARD, MY VISION FOR YOU IS BIGGER THAN YOUR DREAMS, LET ME SHOW THEM TO YOU” ✨❤️ now I have my board empty and have seen the Lord reveal to me more clarity rewarding my Personal Brand and Business 🙏❤️ He showed me how to stop being a world girlboss but to become a Kingdom Boss Queen (a daughter of the King of Kings that surrenders her life to Jesus) ❤️🙏 I am starting a new brand from scratch in Spanish 🙏✨🙌 I will help other Christian Woman to build their personal brand online and to build a Coaching business that serves the Lord and His Kingdom ❤️🙏 I’m just starting but His vision is so clear 💯 so YES Ashley this is beautiful ❤️ the Lord will provide bigger dreams and visions for you 🖼️ He will show them to you✨ that is why He asked you to remove those pictures 🙏❤️ Maybe you can start putting the photos of what He has accomplished for you this year 🙏❤️✨ Every time He provides something big for you that are bigger than your plans 📸 take a photo and put it up on your Jesus Vision Board for you 🖼️✨

My full on surrender happened last night in the middle the biggest fight me and my fiancé have ever had. I packed my bags and was ready to leave, but mid argument i dropped to my knees and prayed. Miraculously we were able to work it out and decided that today is the start of our new relationship. I cried in the arms of Jesus, and he saved us. Thank you for doing what you do Ashley! I am not fasting on food because i have chronic illness and autoimmune problems, but i decided to fast by giving him my beloved Hot Showers. At the end of my hot showers, i turn it on as cold as it can get and i jump in for Jesus. During that first gasp of air when i jump in that freezing water, is gasping in and breathing in God. The uncomfortable cold water is my fast for The Lord. I play a worship song and stand under it and let God give me the comfort and strength i need to stay under. After that cold blast, i feel so good, and i know I am giving God one of my biggest pleasures. Now, He has been more present in my life then ever before❤

When you say” I’m done trying to control my life”. I feel you. Right now I let go of my dreams, and what I used to do. I'm tired of doing this shitty job (domestic helper). I live so much in my head and in my dreams and I had enough of always feeling this way. I start to let go of everything and let God show me His path. I don't know if I am selfish or if it's just another phase that I have to go through. I don't even know what I want now. Literally being super lazy and I have no desire at all. I’ve come to the point where I can’t hold onto my dreams anymore. Maybe I am just putting my dreams and how my life should be, before God, and I've come to a realization that anything I put before my God is an idol. So I took a break and just sat with God everyday coz anything can be taken away. I know God wants my heart, not my dreams. Surrender is a hard work, really. I felt that in my daily life but I need to keep doing it and trust that Jesus will renew my mind. I fill my mind with the word of God and try not to think of anything else except God and when I do that, I feel like, I don't have any burden at all, just flow with Jesus. Hearing how you speak of Our Lord in the beginning is so beautiful, and speaks to my own feelings as I quickly approach baptism and confirmation. Christ is our breathe, our living water, our cornerstone. Glory Be! Rex Gloria! Christ strips us of all the things that distract us and ultimately turn us away from Him and His holy path. Blessed is the man who the Lord reprimanded. Our Father's reprimands are pure love!
One thing that helps me is going for a drive with no music. Especially in the countryside if you're able too. Being able to be in silence with God while still kinda staying busy is so helpful. I am able to hear God during that time of silence

It reminds me that its okay to just be in the present with God. To let Him worry about where we're going. That's what His first disciples went through so it is what we must endure as well. this is wild. recently i feel SO strongly convicted from sins i have struggled with my entire life. but today, BEFORE i watched this, i choose to let them go. i’ve been in chains bc i kept holding onto things. in my case it’s sin, not plans necessarily, but still! y’all like i did not and STILL don’t want kill my flesh. i don’t want to stop but God IS so much more important and i need to let it go in order for him to move more in my life. and i feel that. it’s crazy bc i felt this before watching this video and she just said to kill your flesh like deny yourself pretty much and im just like woooaaahhhhh. I love you Jesus and thank you ashley ❤
4:43 Amen to that! Yes, losing things draws us so much closer to God and what He desires for us. If He hadn't taken away the toxic relationship I clung to so tightly, I wouldn't be worshiping at the Lord's altar, pursuing Him so fervently. I can now say that I no longer care if I ever get married; all I want is Jesus. We often have to lose things for them to stop being idols in our lives and to genuinely desire Him above all else.

I think called is pulling you out of a “waiting season” and wanting you to just rest in Him to acknowledge what He has done for you and the littlest, mundane things he does for you daily. Let Him do the work and you just rest.
So glad you called it what it is… manifestation. When I saw you and others posting these last couple of years these vision boards, I found it interesting that people were manifesting things into their lives. If we say HE is in control, how do we think we can manifest things into our lives? He is in control and He will decide when it’s time for things. Goals are great, but that’s just what they are goals, and if it be God’s will, then okay.

My full on surrender happened last night in the middle the biggest fight me and my fiancé have ever had. I packed my bags and was ready to leave, but mid argument i dropped to my knees and prayed. Miraculously we were able to work it out and decided that today is the start of our new relationship. I cried in the arms of Jesus, and he saved us. Thank you for doing what you do Ashley!
I am not fasting on food because i have chronic illness and autoimmune problems, but i decided to fast by giving him my beloved Hot Showers. At the end of my hot showers, i turn it on as cold as it can get and i jump in for Jesus. During that first gasp of air when i jump in that freezing water, is gasping in and breathing in God. The uncomfortable cold water is my fast for The Lord. I play a worship song and stand under it and let God give me the comfort and strength i need to stay under. After that cold blast, i feel so good, and i know I am giving God one of my biggest pleasures. Now, He has been more present in my life then ever before❤
If you are having fights like this with your fiance, you two should not be engaged to be married.
@@chryselene relationships and marriage is HARD, especially as 24 year olds trying to find Christ together. But with Jesus in the middle of our relationship, things will soar ❤️

When you say” I’m done trying to control my life”. I feel you. Right now I let go of my dreams, and what I used to do. I'm tired of doing this shitty job (domestic helper). I live so much in my head and in my dreams and I had enough of always feeling this way.
I start to let go of everything and let God show me His path. I don't know if I am selfish or if it's just another phase that I have to go through.
I don't even know what I want now. Literally being super lazy and I have no desire at all.
I’ve come to the point where I can’t hold onto my dreams anymore. Maybe I am just putting my dreams and how my life should be, before God, and I've come to a realization that anything I put before my God is an idol. So I took a break and just sat with God everyday coz anything can be taken away. I know God wants my heart, not my dreams.
Surrender is a hard work, really. I felt that in my daily life but I need to keep doing it and trust that Jesus will renew my mind. I fill my mind with the word of God and try not to think of anything else except God and when I do that, I feel like, I don't have any burden at all, just flow with Jesus.
Truly, all we need is Jesus.

Hearing how you speak of Our Lord in the beginning is so beautiful, and speaks to my own feelings as I quickly approach baptism and confirmation. Christ is our breathe, our living water, our cornerstone.

One thing that helps me is going for a drive with no music. Especially in the countryside if you're able too. Being able to be in silence with God while still kinda staying busy is so helpful. I am able to hear God during that time of silence
Jesus has been pressing on my heart to fast and pray and then seeing this has just confirmed he has so much to show me. Ugh thank you Ash❤️

This is so timely, Ashley. Thank you for sharing this, your vulnerability has certainly been a blessing. God has been encouraging me to fast for direction but I wasn't sure until I stumbled upon your video. Wow. Thank you again so much. You also not being sure about what's next is so comforting. It reminds me that its okay to just be in the present with God. To let Him worry about where we're going. That's what His first disciples went through so it is what we must endure as well. this is wild. recently i feel SO strongly convicted from sins i have struggled with my entire life. but today, BEFORE i watched this, i choose to let them go. i’ve been in chains bc i kept holding onto things. in my case it’s sin, not plans necessarily, but still! y’all like i did not and STILL don’t want kill my flesh. i don’t want to stop but God IS so much more important and i need to let it go in order for him to move more in my life. and i feel that. it’s crazy bc i felt this before watching this video and she just said to kill your flesh like deny yourself pretty much and im just like woooaaahhhhh. 4:43 Amen to that! Yes, losing things draws us so much closer to God and what He desires for us. If He hadn't taken away the toxic relationship I clung to so tightly, I wouldn't be worshiping at the Lord's altar, pursuing Him so fervently. I can now say that I no longer care if I ever get married; all I want is Jesus. We often have to lose things for them to stop being idols in our lives and to genuinely desire Him above all else.

I think called is pulling you out of a “waiting season” and wanting you to just rest in Him to acknowledge what He has done for you and the littlest, mundane things he does for you daily. Let Him do the work and you just rest.

So glad you called it what it is… manifestation. When I saw you and others posting these last couple of years these vision boards, I found it interesting that people were manifesting things into their lives. If we say HE is in control, how do we think we can manifest things into our lives? He is in control and He will decide when it’s time for things. Goals are great, but that’s just what they are goals, and if it be God’s will, then okay.
