I'm in a season where God took everything away, and closed all doors except for one. For the last 3 years. I'm ok with it. But let me tell you, its not easy, it's life changing, heart breaking, soul breaking, mind breaking, spirit breaking, all for the Glory of God.

I pray for both of you, please know that you will never be alone in whatever you're going through. Jesus loves you. Please take heart. Our God is a good and loving God. He's not selfish, He's all for you and your future. He knows what's best for us. Sometimes we do not understand the reasons behind everything, but we must trust in His wisdom, love, and in His will. How do you keep the faith with allfear and anxiety I have been struggling for this public emplyement exam and for last three I couldn't find anything else. The pressure also breaks when I'm close to being 30 and still jobless and stuff.
Thanks everyone for all your vulnerability and for praying for one another❣️❣️ This makes my heart happy. I’m going through a really difficult time of my life right now too…I’ve been reminded of Romans 8:18. Our present day suffering will not compare to the glory that is to come. Also Romans 8:28 promises that God is using all things for our good and for His glory…even the bad/ugly/heartbreaking/confusing/etc.. He’s turning it all for good. Things may not make sense right now, but God is a loving God and a Good Father. I believe He wants to bless us more than we want Him to bless us. Keep persevering and believing that He is WITH us and FOR us. 💪 If God is for us, who can be against us?
And when you’re struggling, bring it all to Him. He can handle our emotions and unbelief. Ask Him for His strength. Everything will make sense in His timing ⏱️ Blessings to you all!! 🥹🙌❤️

I know that I don’t know what I wish for, so let God’s will be done.

For anyone that is reading this please pray with me because I am in my Elisha season where God is telling me to quit my job and I have no backup🫠 I’m nervous, but I’m trusting in God because His ways are higher than mine and I can’t lean on my own understanding but my goodness!!!🙃

Yes just trust Him I quit mine after He’s been putting it on my heart to do so. Then literally the next day I got a call for a position I’m not even qualified for making double what I was making. Now I’m able to afford my own place and not living with my sister. He’s Jehovah Jireh and He will provide for you.

I'm 59 years old & all my life I've never known God's will for me. I've made many decisions that I regret, but on the other hand, God has used those to teach me & draw me closer to Him. Even at my age, I'm now asking for His will in regards to changing jobs. I wish I would've done more with my life, like you are doing. I pray that He restores the years the locust ate & opens or shuts doors for me as well. Your sharing blessed me ❤

11:37 If you look back on the story of Jonah and his disobedience... Jonah not listening to God ultimately caused him to be inside of fish which was a setback that he could've avoided if he had just trusted in God. God wants to use you for his glory! This was so good!

@rebeccaly @sincerelysavannahrae wow i randomly read jonah this week and it took a minute to recognize that i had similar behavior as Jonah. i recently received my calling but truthfully did not want to do it. i’m in severe pain bc of my chronic illness and i after being saved and i could have some love joy peace all parts of the fruit i truly wanted to just relax and to enjoy it a little bit and just let God do the work while i just catch a breath. i randomly thought about you today Rebecca and i end up on this video. i too used to be pre-med biology major and after i graduated i suffered an injury that took that hard dream away from me. i was so sad and depressed as a premed like i was just doing something i said i was going to do as a kid but it was killing me in so many ways. i tried again to go back to a similar field and failed miserably. with my health and pain, i let go of that dream completely and went to a different field. i am thriving in my new career by the grace of God. i’m about to get my second masters and i’m building a business that i have dedicated to God and his doings. this video spoke to me and gave me the pick me up to do what God wants me to do. i’m recently learning about him from the bible bc i knew him by spirit first and received the holy spirit about 1-2 years ago. when i received his spirit and spoke in tongues i said within me that my life was changed forever. i guess i didn’t really realize what that meant bc i’ve been transformed by him. most days i’m so grateful sand joyous despite the fact that my body hurts 24/7 but a part of me grieves the fact that i didn’t have to go thru all of that due to the vile that didn’t let me truly see. i’ve called on God my whole life and have pleaded and negotiated everything i could think of as a kid to call me home except i didn’t know the extent of my pleads. well God took it all but gave me much more. your testimony resonated with me and forced me to get up and move with purpose today even though my body would much rather be wrapped in comfort. i’m leaning on God that he’s my comfort and strength. i’ve been praying hard and asking anyone that believes to pray for me. i hope y’all have a blessed day

I don't have the adequate words to express how I feel, but I just thank you for your honesty and courage to keep moving, even though you are in so much pain. 🥺 God sees you and your heart!! When Jonah got onto that boat and went to go sleep and the storm started. Notice how everybody knew someone had offended God on the boat . They started praying to different gods till they woke Jonah and threw him off the boat and the stormed calmed down like nothing happened.
I gave up coffee and video games so I could have enough energy and time to become a teacher.
I would spend HOURS playing video games (I totally still miss them, but I haven't played since October/for 9 months).
I used to drink 3-6 huge cups of coffee a day. And cups of black tea. But I quit caffeine and by God's grace I have no headaches or pain or anything (which had happened in the past when I tried to quit). Not sure what was different this time, but I know it was the Lord. Praise Him.
I'm struggling in my job (He's stretching me for other reasons). But I KNOW if I had my addictions I would have to quit... I'd be exhausted with no time. I'm already exhausted with no time-but if it was worse... Oh man. I wouldn't cope. So praise Him!!!
I just realised how much God really is with me. Thank you for your word

Rebecca you have such a loving heart for the Lord ✝️. Thank you for sharing your testimony & journey. What a wonderful scripture on Elijah passing his mantel to Elisha who was working his trade to work the land & animals for his family and his future. He knew the hand of God was on Elijah & what an honor it was to receive God's call and that mantel passed down. He then through his actions gave it back to God & His people. That's obedience also love; asking for and receiving a double portion was a blessing. I can see you helping others to understand a bit in your description of a sports letterman's jacket. I believe God is a gentleman (silly description) He does not force His will on anyone. It's our choice always. Here I am Lord. You spoke of crosses which somedays mine are heavy and with praise and thanksgiving I've brought my requests- prayers to Him and some have not been removed not necessarily no maybe just not now. Your faith is being increased as His favor & mercy was upon you. Yes He is a waymaker! Glory ✝️. What a wonderful teacher you will be as you're leading others to Christ through your example & testimony. I pray God continue to give you His wisdom, knowledge and discernment in Jesus name. I love your description of God being a gentleman...absolutely! That gave me goosebumps honestly. His will will always come to pass, but He lets us choose if we want to be a part of it. What a gentleman He truly is. 🥺Some days, the cross feels heavier and harder to carry, but He's pleased with your heart to still trust in Him and not look back. I think these hard days are what increase our faith. 🙏

I have a very similar testimony from 10 years ago when I got accepted by the grace of God to a university I was severely under qualified for, and I did 2 years of ministry school there. I've been praying over my next steps and have been in a similar situation where I have a few too many plans. Last night I had a dream about abandoning everything and I did the plan that's on my mind the most. Hi Rebecca! Thank you so much for sharing this, it couldn’t have come at a better time for me😂 I just graduated with my bachelor’s in December, had the boutique I’ve worked at since my senior year of high school school close before I found a job, had a job promised and then denied out of the blue, had several rejections or let-downs in my job hunt, and I’m getting married in October. We have a lot of stress and drama on getting the house we’re going to live in ready in time on top of planning the wedding, and it’s been a rollercoaster! All this to say, I’ve been struggling so much in my fear of the future and trusting God to provide for me. I’ve been trying so hard to diligently be in prayer and be in the word and trying to “cast my anxieties to Him” but it’s been an uphill battle. I just started working in a new job (I interviewed the day I watched this video actually lol!) and I absolutely love it!! We’ve had a lot of craziness going on with my fiance and I working out what our living situation will be when we get married, but we are both praying and trusting in Gods plan. It’s been a ride, but He is faithful and I’m working to grow in my ability to trust Him with all of it. I’ve watched your video again and it’s such a good encouragement! I know God made me go through the wilderness and I have absolutley NO idea what His calling is for me but I know I need to fast and pray. I love that you asked Him to move not just one but a couple mountains for you. Sometimes I am nervous to ask for big things but hearing you ask for a couple mountains to be moved was so awesome for me. It brought new perspective to the facts of nothing being too big for God and ask not, receive not.

Thanks for sharing this Kennedy! I think that a lesson God’s been teaching me lately is that He will only do as much as we believe. The woman who bled for twelve years believed that she’d be healed just by touching Jesus’s cloak, and it was done for her! (Amen!) on the other hand, Jesus couldn’t perform miracles in His own hometown due to the unbelief of the people. I think for a long time I really struggled to believe in God doing miracles for myself…I could see Him do miracles for others but not for myself. My unbelief robbed God of opportunities to show up for me, and robbed myself of experiencing these miracles. I noticed that when I had the audacity to believe in the impossible and audacity to ask God, He showed up and blew me away.
I pray you’ll be open to letting God blow you away and move in your life in unfathomable ways. He wants to! Love and blessings! Proud of you. Keep asking Him for the small and big things. He loves and cares for you. He wants to be your Provider and give you life to the full! 🥹💌🙏

I always felt distant with God and what my purpose is, but I never wanted to let go of my mast mistakes. As a 14 year old girl, I struggle with the right friends, school, and social media, but now it's time for me to let go of it. Thank you!! I'm 10 years older than you and I definitely remember being 14 and struggling with all the same things you listed (but I feel like you have it much harder since technology and social media have evolved so much). I want to encourage you that God promises that if we draw closer to Him and seek Him, He will also draw near to us and reveal more of Himself to us. This is a promise!! (James 4:8) ❤ So keep pursuing Him/the Kingdom/His righteousness, and He will give you everything else (Matthew 6:33)! That is another promise. There is no condemnation here. God loves you and forgives you. He wants nothing more than to be your God/Father/Friend.
I pray you will have discernment with your friends, school, social media, etc.. Remember that God's got you! And that is the final promise I'll share with you right now. ❤ Take care! God bless you and protect you always.

It’s completely okay to even be an undecided major and dip your toes in everything before finally deciding. You are still young!! ❤

The past year I've been gearing myself up for pursuing a career in Hollywood because I feel called to make movies that point people to God. And the past month I've been waiting on God to give me an answer about going to LA. Right before the decision, I finally and truly said, Lord I don't care what happens, as long as I'm with you I'm happy. And then the next day I got the go ahead to go to LA.
So now I'm just continuing steps of faith, one being to find housing. He KEEPS providing for me in each step and I'm amazed by Him. And I think this video is reminding me to fully lean in to God through this crazy journey ahead of me. And I'm really started to believe that now. I keep telling myself, if it doesn't work out I can always come back home. And that's given me earthly peace. But I think maybe God showed me this video to say, hey you don't need to think like that because I've got you every step of the way. And so I'll try to avoid thinking that and lean on God's promises.
It truly is a daily taking up of the cross! And God is so good, and learning each day

Going through a test now. Made several losses back to back and it's frustrating because I end up being right. I still have faith God will pull me through in his time. 🙏

This was very encouraging as I have left home, given belongings away, left job for the Lord but still don’t know where I am going or what to do next. It is very humbling and scary. I feel foolish...but somehow have a deep knowing that God is trying me and testing me and somehow by His grace I will come out as gold.

Today I thought was gonna lead me into staying awake really late with worry and constant prayer but this video of yours has been like a ripple that leads to still waters. You’ve cleared up my mind, firstly I was shocked to see that you wanted to read in 1st Kings since I’m already reading in that book right now! And then when I finally caught up to chapter 19 to watch your video I was stunned what your message was. It’s been on my heart now to cut off the friends in my social circle for weeks…. I didn’t know wether or not it was just me not being loving enough like Jesus but I have been wanting something new for too long where it’s obvious that in order for me to have the new I have to get rid of the old. And TODAY the day I watch your channel and this video for the very first time happened just AFTER I decided and messaged my friends saying I can no longer prioritise my time on them as much anymore AND realising your name is Rebecca which is the name of a new student at my school- everything just seems to be telling me that saying my goodbyes and cutting them out of my life now was for the best as new things finally await me around the corner. I’ve been wanting to dive completely in that pond for WEEKS but never could because of what was holding me back until today and before watching this video! Not to mention I thought I was the only one that repeated my “Amen’s” at the end of my prayers until seeing you do it at the end AS WELL. this video has been everything to me and I thank you so much sister, and I thank God so much for today. 🙏❤️- I cried watching your testimony and I know I’ll cry the same when I watch mine happen before my eyes once more. I too be having a lot of questions & wondering what my calling is. Been mainly focusing my channel around music which at times I feel like music is my calling but not always sure. Lately been trying to turn away distractions. Even left my job in turn to seek peace. Been learning to discern & cast out spirits as of late. But am still praying about my calling. I so needed this. We have such similar backgrounds too. I went to school and got a B.S in biology and I wanted to go to Medical school to become a dermatologist.
