Dredge- Hex:Face the Darkness, BBQ Chili, Lethal Pursuer, Hex: Thrill of the Hunt (To make it impossible for other survivors without counter force to cleanse any totem while Face The Darkness is active on a survivor)
Face the Darkness is great on pig/Sadako. On pig, it can interrupt a survivor trying to get their trap off, and for sadako, the information is valuable if you're trying to give stacks or deny getting a tape/getting rid of one. It also works better on them because of their stealth
I can imagine how vile it would be on Pig to get everyone trapped, injure one with Face the Darkness, and then just stealth around and have all the survivors scream and lose progress.

It's also vile on Pinhead bc good luck ever doing the box if you keep screaming. Add Thrill and Undying and I can't speak for others but I sure want to kms when I go against these guys
Hex: Blood Favor is my favorite Legion chase perk. It counters the survivors who really want to stun you out of your power, plus it can turn a safe tile into a dead zone for you to catch while you’re M1ing
Nurses calling works really well on Hag along with Franklins imo. Survivors really don't like to be injured with hag since setting off traps is sudden death if Hag isnt asleep at the keyboard. Also great for finding survivors if they're in the part of the map you prepped if they escape a chase, Franklin's denies med kits and forces them to pair up for a heal. Main counter to her is CoH.
I recommend Dissolution for Legion If you follow a survivor over a pallet and cancel your ability they'll try and vault back over the pallet while you have no collision and break it
I'd like to add Make Your Choice to the Dredge because it's very easy to get the long distance with its power. Besides if Make Your Choice activates while you're in a locker and you still got 1 or 2 tokens to teleport then you can easily one hit the survivor :)
Very case specific thing for Iron Maiden on trickster, survivors can jump in lockers to avoid his main event and force you to cancel, then get out with no consequences because you are stunned and can’t use knives. Iron Maiden stops that, still bad perk though
Lethal pursuer is extremely good on Pinhead because you can work out where the box is from the instant you start the match since there is a specific spawning logic for it otzdarva has a video on how to do this
As a knight main, he thrives in managing his guards to pressure survivors or do tasks. For that reason, a lot of perks that help you keep tabs on each survivor's whereabouts and what they're currently doing can help you figure out the best way to deploy your guards. It'll also help moments where survivors have to make a choice of either getting hit by a guard, hit by the knight, or move into a disadvantageous spot more common.
Blood echo is especially good If you have the legion pin add on which inflicts broken on survivors who mend, giving you extra time to get a hook It might also work with the legion mural add on which changes the speed gained on hit from 0.2 M/s to 0.3 M/s , which has significant benefits
I feel like if you’d use Hubris with spirit, it would be ideal to also use it with the Enduring and Spirit Fury perks to have even more value when stunned, you won’t waste time breaking the pallet and you’ll be done being stunned faster, as always, great video Kyto! Edit: also, you can use Thanatophobia with legion, as thanatophobia is one of legions best perks, as you said, good survivors don’t heal, so keeping them injured would cause them to heal, not only wasting objective time, but takes even longer due to the thanatophobia value. Edit: you can also use Thanatophobia with Oni as he is based on injuring survivors for his power, I believe good survivors would heal so it can slow time for them to do gens. And take longer to heal due to thanatophobia
A main Knight tip: Use Play With Your Food, because a guard hit doesn't take out one of your stacks. So if you u really understand he's power you can abuse this and force survivors into the guards Save The Best for Last is also amazing because you can force survivors into the guards That's just my opinion, so I want you guys to tell me what you think about it S2
I'd say distressing is very strong on doctor. it definitely helps getting more survivors in the static blast. and helps if your trying to get 4 people at once.
i agree with pyramid heads perks. but one thing i don’t see used often is hex totem perks. I love using Ruin with him especially paired with his add-ons that extend his trail timer. placing a trail on the hex stops survivors from wanting to cleanse it because if they do they usually don’t have enough time to cleanse it before i can get there. especially if you combine that with that one perk that extends the hex cleansing by 50%
I am a Clown and Doctor main and I also have some other suggestions for perks on them. *Clown* Coup De Grâce Coup is very good on Clown, and the reason is it increases his effectiveness at predropped pallets. For those who don’t know, Clown is NOT countered by predropped pallets, unless they’re really safe or god pallets. If you know where and when to place your yellows and pinks, Clown becomes the king of playing around predropped pallets. Predropping against Clown isn’t *counter*, it’s more of a *chase extender*. A really good Clown player named Arinad claims that Clown can play around 60 - 70% of predropped pallets in the game. With Coup De Grâce however, he says that percentage jumps up to 90%. Unrelenting Now this may sound strange, but Unrelenting is really good on Clown, either with or without Coup as a pairing (preferably with). Clown has to take a lot of risky swings when playing around predropped pallets, so if you do end up missing swings (which you will do as clown), Unrelenting comes in clutch and can win you chases or even GAMES overall. It you find yourself not getting any Unrelenting value, that means you’re doing great. Zanshin Tactics Clown’s power tends to encourage people to predrop pallets and hold W to other tiles. Clown’s power works best when you know what exact tile your at, heading to, and surrounding tiles around you that survivors can potentially chain to. Basically, if you’re 100% aware of your surroundings around you, that’s when you can reach your full potential as a Clown. Zanshin Tactics gives you that awareness from the start of the match, and remembers what tiles are in a specific area of a map for you, lifting some weight off your shoulders. Brutal Strength If you’re a newer Clown player, who’s not confident enough to use yellow bottles and/or play around predropped pallets, you should take this perk. Otherwise, don’t take it. Rapid Brutality Clown is pretty much always spamming bottles during a chase, which resets his Bloodlust a lot, so the no bloodlust debuff from Rapid Brutality pretty much doesn’t effect Clown at all. *Doctor* Now, Im going to clarify, Doctor is VERY similar to Clown. Not on paper, but in practice. Both killers’ powers work best with good precision and awareness, and encourage survivors to play pretty much the same way, by predropping and chaining tiles. Unlike Clown, Doctor struggles to play around predropped pallets as effectively as Clown, and predropping against Doctor is an actual *counter*, not a *chase extender* like it is for Clown. Doctor can only play around pre dropped pallets to a similar level of clown with certain add ons (Discipline and Range add ons). Despite this, *all* the perks I mentioned for Clown are also great choices on Doctor, and I recommend them. But here on some other perks that are more focused on Doctor. Merciless Storm The Madness skill checks apply to the series of skill checks given to survivors by Merciless Storm, so due to the confusion from the constant bouncing skill checks, survivors will tend to miss at least one and cause the gen to be blocked. Hex: Huntress Lullaby Huntress Lullaby makes skill checks have less and less warning as it collects stacks, so a random Doctor skill check on your screen without warning will result in a missed skill check a lot of the time. Distressing This perk simply increases your Terror Radius, and Doctor’s Static Blast will ALWAYS match the size of his Terror Radius. This will make it so that you have a bigger Static Blast. Unnerving Presence UP makes it so skill checks in your Terror Radius are 60% smaller. Combine this with Doctor skill checks, and you have a good chance of making Survivors blow up generators. Enduring Doctor, like Clown, has to take a lot of risky swings at loops some times. Doctor will get a lot of hits through pallets, so Enduring can take a lot of risk off from those hits. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk
Arguably The Knights best perk, Nowhere to Hide, is also extremely good for him. If you pair it with a perk Merciless Storm or any other perk that forces survivors off of gens, you can travel to that gen, kick it, and then if they’re nearby, sick one of your guards on them to catch them off guard since trust me, it’s much harder to do that by yourself when you’re still detectable
As a person that mains wesker I have to say the 2 perks are really good on wesker but thrilling tremors is an odd choice. Personally pain resonance or lethal pursuer is better for him since he can get into a chase early and get a down relatively quick if you're good enough with his power.
Sloppy on pig gets worse the better you get at using your ambush which you should be aiming to do more as you get better because of its effectiveness with STBFL and against pallet campers. Tinkerer ends up being very good on her because it helps you time when to use traps. Also Guard hits are special attacks so they dont work with Jolt.
Monitor and Abuse for Trickster isn’t a good pick in my opinion (as a Trickster main). Darkness Revealed is a way better pick and synergises well with Iron Maiden
If you use deerstalker as the twins that is legit just a skill issue. Fearmonger I can confirm is pretty decent. As for corrupt intervention, I do not recommend it, rather use lethal pursuer and weigh your options with each player, then go a bit closer with Charlotte to the biggest group, not to much that they can see you, just enough, it takes practice, but after that switch to victor, this will put Charlotte in the dormant state which will hide her terror radius, (so you can be smart with this knowledge later in the game if a survivor is running from vic) and then use Vic to go to the survivors and latch onto one of em, this will put the survivor into the injured state and switch you back to Charlotte and in turn trigger Vic’s killer instinct, after that it just turns into a slug fest, get everyone injured if you’re able, then you can finish the job with Vic. So because your using Vic so much the perks I would recommend are: Sloppy Butcher Fearmonger Discordance Lethal Persuer If you wanna change anything then change Fearmonger because that’s the least useful one of the 4 perks.
Thank you for putting perk descriptions in the corner. Im recently returning to DBD after a year and I legit forgot what many of these perks do. Good refresher.
What I've been doing more often with Ghostface is use whispers instead of lethal pursuer, I don't use any aura reading perks so I wasn't getting value for that extended reading, knowing in the end the survivors will always start on the gens I sneak towards them knowing where to stay or leave at. Additionally I don't waste time down the line scouting gens since whispers doesn't trigger. Also I gain end game value since the last survivor will most likely hide and I can track in what area is the survivor on
I want to mention that Devour Hope is REALLY good with the Twins because if you have all 5 stacks, you can have Victor guard the hex while you go around trying to find people. Especially good with undying so when someone clenses it, it gives me a good signal to give victor the baby sitting job
I main wesker since his ability is pretty simplistic yet useful in certain situations but unlike a lot of killers i feel that wesker doesn’t fully depend on his ability to get survivors down and on the hook
On Wraith Sloppy Butcher goes well with Bloodhound The blood puddles remain for so long you can easily hit a guy, go for another guy and then track down the first one without any issue
My personal build for hunty is: Darkness (for hatchet reloads after hook), iron because she takes forever to reload, floods and lethal. Great build for cross mapping
Discordance is especially good on Knight because of a strat called the "Jumpscare Guard." One time, I was working on a gen while injured and I knew it was a knight, and I heard the humming of his power, but didn't see the orb. Suddenly, a Rault appears in front of me and downs me within a second or two. So, I started doing this strategy myself whenever I play Knight. Survivors can't see your guard coming, and so with some timing, you can hit two survivors or instantly down one by coordinating your hit with the guard's hit. It also lets you actually get guard hunts, which aren't as common as you'd think. Nurse's Calling, good for the same reason. I also wanna shoutout Stridor in case you wanna drop a guard on someone, since breathing is the only thing you can track while summoning. Jolt is good on Knight, but does not activate on guard hits, so you have to shepherd the survivors where you want using the guard to get the most value.
14:36 I feel like I always know what killer I'm up against at the very start of a match. Whenever I play Survivor, the help tips on the loading screen will show general stuff, and then one tip against a specific killer. The killer player is always playing the killer that the loading screen tip was made for.
That’s only if u haven’t played against that certain killer more then a couple times if u played against them more then like 4 or 5 times the tips don’t appear for them
I'd switch out Iron Maiden for Darkness Revealed on Trickster. Reloading doesn't take as long and you have plenty of knives, so as long as you don't get unlucky for the map, information will definitely win over reload speed. Ended getting sent to Midwich as Trickster and it was a 5 gen 4k. They were very much not happy about the situation lol. As for Dredge, Blood Echo is really underrated (as a perk overall too). Dredge suffers from locker placement so Blood Echo is a nice perk to sort of even the playing field on those difficult maps. Honestly, it's sometimes best to force a 3 gen situation when lockers are lightyears away from gens and exit gates. I forgot my build for Dredge (main) but you can pretty much rely on their add-ons (especially the Microphone and Skull ones, makes you only have to focus on mind games in chase).
Bamboozle, fire up and superior anatomy got shadow nerfed, it does not apply the speed bonus to “vaulting powers“ which mean legion frenzy vaulting, wesker uroburos vaulting and even myers tier 3
This is defiently really helpful something that can really help with killer is having perks that synergize well with them and this is when this video shines thanks for the tips!❤️
As a Trickster Player I'm going to give my two cents what you chose for trickster, just from my personal perspective. Monitor and Abuse on Trickster while good in theory is completely deceptive in nature, It may fool most players, but it fools absolutely no one who is experienced at the game. Reason why is the trickster has a Lullaby or a Melody that is 40 meters, so even if you bump him down to 16 meters, People still know that you are 40 meters close and if they can Identify its monitor, they are just going to leave the moment they hear the lullaby if it lingers for too long, this logic is similarly applied to the huntress. The lullaby's can provide enough information to the point that its actually pretty scary. Fearmonger is something trickster doesn't necessarily need to avoid dead hard as if you are accurate with your blade you can simply throw one at a survivors feet you bait out the dead hard, rather than dedicating an entire perk to avoid something that you can avoid naturally with your blades. Iron maiden however is actually one of the better choices as it makes trickster more time efficient and opens up a lot of room for him to do things during or outside of chase, so I can't really argue with this one. But I'll give a couple suggestions myself. I suggest combining Iron Maiden with Darkness revealed, solely because of the fact its what trickster spends most of his time doing, so why not have the chance to see some sad saps aura out of nowhere? As for a perk that most would see as highly controversial or borderline stupid, I'd say Bamboozle is one of tricksters best in slot perks, as most maps in the game can have tiles that make getting angles for trickster to consistently hit his blades a complete nightmare, for example shack, if someone runs shack bamboozle the window, preferably by baiting them to running into the window and chase them down till your close to hit knives or your M1.
For plague I’d also recommend to use no way out as most good survivors will usually cleanse after all gens have been popped so no way out gives you the chance to collect the corrupt purge before they open the exit gate
Discordance is good on Nemesis since the notification alerts zombies as well, pair it with Ruin and any survivors that get pushed off gens by zombies will regress.
Nurse’s, Corrupt Intervention, PGTW, Nowhere to Hide, and Face the Darkness are all really amazing on Wraith too. I honestly don’t think he necessarily needs Bamboozle or Brutal Strength at all times, but they’re funny for pallet eater/window speed builds. I like STBFL on him more than those two.
Merciless Storm on Doctor, Make Your Choice on Dredge, Dragon's Grip on stealth killers like Sadako and Wraith, Iron Maiden and Darkness Revealed on Huntress, Terminus on Plague, Coup de Grace on Wesker and Myers.
I do a hook build on onryo Pain Resonance, monsteres shrine, thanatophobia, Gift of pain. sloppy/bbq/floods of rage/ I kinda play her as like condemning survivors as her second goal, since her power is very easy to play against, her addons are amazing for different playstyles. Iri Tape: it negates counter play to this killer if you are good enough to keep track of survivors. Ring Drawing: all you have to do is slug one person at time, if you down another person pick up and put on hook for more value with scourge hooks Telephone: anti loop, pretty good.
I will say that Dying Light and Blood Echo is also pretty good on Plague. You could argue her best build is Corrupt Intervention, Thanatophobia, Dying Light, and Blood Echo and I wouldn't argue it. Edit: As someone who runs Pain Resonance and Jolt on Knight, I can confirm that guards getting downs does not trigger Jolt.
Monitor and Abuse on Trickster is actually just a waste of a perk slot. It decreases your terror radius yes, but Trickster still has a Lullaby that won't be effected by the perk and still give you away
This list needs an updated version. Not only because more killers have been added, but some of the perk choices here are now outdated, such as Save the Best for laugh now that you lose stacks by hitting the Obsession with a special attack.
I usually play every killer with every existing perk in order to fingure out what the best perks are on each killer but luckily this vid is out so you don't have to.
Floods of rage on huntress is situational but if you can use it once or twice to get snipes its earned its value. Darkness revealed is passive info to help you make decisions and maybe land a shot. Nobody expects the floods to give a hit and it can be so huge.
i play doctor purely for fun so idk how strong my build actually is, but i love the combo of distressing. bigger terror radius = easier mega blast hits. sloppy butcher + claustrophobia. makes healing pretty much impossible in your big terror radius. and then just a slowdown perk like pain res. i start he match by going kinda in between the 2 furthest away gens and then i blast. id say in 1 out of 20 games, i hit noone. the rest i hit 2-3 people. he is the only killer i play where i do not run lethal persuer.
I’ve also found dev hope-while extremely scummy-is really good on long ranged killers like artist and huntress as well as people with a map traversal teleport like hag and dredge
I want to say that deathbound is actually pretty good on killers than can teleport across the map, like dredge, onryo, maybe freddie. it normally isnt good at all but when you get that killer instinct and can teleport pretty much directly to them, it catches them off guard and theyre oblivious too so it can really scare them.
Brutal strength for wraith isn’t just good to amplify add-ons, but since wraith is an ambush killer committing to a chase can be difficult and waste a lot of time. So having brutal strength is a very nice anti chase perk for him if you are going to commit. Just thought I would add this extra info. Have a good day, everyday.

The Madness skill checks apply to the series of skill checks given to survivors by Merciless Storm, so due to the confusion from the constant bouncing skill checks, survivors will tend to miss at least one and cause the gen to be blocked.
Hex: Huntress Lullaby
Huntress Lullaby makes skill checks have less and less warning as it collects stacks, so a random Doctor skill check on your screen without warning will result in a missed skill check a lot of the time.
Distressing
This perk simply increases your Terror Radius, and Doctor’s Static Blast will ALWAYS match the size of his Terror Radius. This will make it so that you have a bigger Static Blast.
Unnerving Presence
UP makes it so skill checks in your Terror Radius are 60% smaller. Combine this with Doctor skill checks, and you have a good chance of making Survivors blow up generators.
Enduring
Doctor, like Clown, has to take a lot of risky swings at loops some times.
‘Basically like no gen slowdown perks because that could be good on like any killer’ 0:23 literally the first perk being a gen slowdown perk 😭😭
Monitor and Abuse for Trickster isn’t a good pick in my opinion (as a Trickster main). Darkness Revealed is a way better pick and synergises well with Iron Maiden

"Clown" *picture of a mirror*
Alright Kyto... didn't have to hurt me like that :'(
>:)
So because your using Vic so much the perks I would recommend are:
Sloppy Butcher
Fearmonger
Discordance
Lethal Persuer
If you wanna change anything then change Fearmonger because that’s the least useful one of the 4 perks.
That picture of mirror when you got on clown. Well played sir.
The baby doing babysitting
I main wesker since his ability is pretty simplistic yet useful in certain situations but unlike a lot of killers i feel that wesker doesn’t fully depend on his ability to get survivors down and on the hook
On Wraith Sloppy Butcher goes well with Bloodhound
The blood puddles remain for so long you can easily hit a guy, go for another guy and then track down the first one without any issue
My personal build for hunty is: Darkness (for hatchet reloads after hook), iron because she takes forever to reload, floods and lethal. Great build for cross mapping
2:28 I never knew bamboozle was the new bbq and Chilli
Nowhere to hide might be good on pyramid head too, then again really any aura perk is good on him
I use it and is very good in pyramid
@patoeme yea I tried it after commenting and it's good. I feel more interested in kicking gens because I might get some value
14:36 I feel like I always know what killer I'm up against at the very start of a match. Whenever I play Survivor, the help tips on the loading screen will show general stuff, and then one tip against a specific killer. The killer player is always playing the killer that the loading screen tip was made for.
That’s only if u haven’t played against that certain killer more then a couple times if u played against them more then like 4 or 5 times the tips don’t appear for them
@@minibates1232 oh ok! I didn't know that. Thanks for clearing that up.
I forgot my build for Dredge (main) but you can pretty much rely on their add-ons (especially the Microphone and Skull ones, makes you only have to focus on mind games in chase).
the pictures when u introduce killers are too good bro 💀
Huntress💀
20:15 it does shows, it shows not for hitting an M1 but for getting a down after it activating at 3 stacks
I play against so many knights, didn’t think he was that popular
Bamboozle, fire up and superior anatomy got shadow nerfed, it does not apply the speed bonus to “vaulting powers“ which mean legion frenzy vaulting, wesker uroburos vaulting and even myers tier 3
0:19 whenever kyto makes nea nod like that it makes me laugh 😂
This is defiently really helpful something that can really help with killer is having perks that synergize well with them and this is when this video shines thanks for the tips!❤️
merciless storm seems kinda nice on doctor too cause you can force people off the gens
2:23 Was suposed to be Barbecue insted of banboozle, but its ok.
Iron Maiden is quite nice on bubba
Shan-something-tactics on clown were proven to be quite great
"There will be no slow down perks". Proceeds to Trapper, "best perk Corupt Intervention". I laughed XD
at 2:30 he meant bbq and chili the bamboozle is an accident
For onryo, I use PWYF, Discordance, and Scourge Hook: Flood, you don’t want to always chase with her, the TVs are there for a reason.
The image for huntress was wild 😭
Bamboozle on nurse be like: am i a joke to u?
Kyto: "Plague"
/Twitter logo appears/
Me: Almost spits out the bite of lunch if just taken from laughing
I like STBFL on him more than those two.
quick tip nemesis zombies will go to discordance so its a bit beater than corrupt also its good info
I'd love to see a video where he "categorizes" each killer (ambush, Stealth, chase, ect.)
Did anyone also see how at 2:23 there is bamboozle twice in a row 😁
Merciless Storm on Doctor, Make Your Choice on Dredge, Dragon's Grip on stealth killers like Sadako and Wraith, Iron Maiden and Darkness Revealed on Huntress, Terminus on Plague, Coup de Grace on Wesker and Myers.
I do a hook build on onryo
Pain Resonance, monsteres shrine, thanatophobia, Gift of pain.
sloppy/bbq/floods of rage/
I kinda play her as like condemning survivors as her second goal, since her power is very easy to play against, her addons are amazing for different playstyles.
Iri Tape: it negates counter play to this killer if you are good enough to keep track of survivors.
Ring Drawing: all you have to do is slug one person at time, if you down another person pick up and put on hook for more value with scourge hooks
Telephone: anti loop, pretty good.
Discordance sounds effective with Knight. I'll give that a try one day. I did use Nurse's Calling during his release, and it worked really well.
I am 100 percent for lightborn on wraith. Turn a counter into an advantage
Darkness revealed is especially good on dredge also because you can see every locker, so if no one shows up, you have an idea where they are
I will say that Dying Light and Blood Echo is also pretty good on Plague.
That huntress pic gave me flashbacks
Monitor and Abuse on Trickster is actually just a waste of a perk slot. It decreases your terror radius yes, but Trickster still has a Lullaby that won't be effected by the perk and still give you away
Kyto: Enduring, Hubris, Starstruck, Clown is kinda a bad killer
That one dude that made the 130 page Clown guide: Fool! You're an utter fool!
When the image for the clown came up as the mirror it took me a moment lmao
Seeing a mirror as Kyto said "Clown" just got me. Anyway, great video, keep up the good work!
My man got a little frustrated with Oni ☠️
i play doctor purely for fun so idk how strong my build actually is, but i love the combo of
distressing. bigger terror radius = easier mega blast hits.
sloppy butcher + claustrophobia. makes healing pretty much impossible in your big terror radius.
and then just a slowdown perk like pain res.
i start he match by going kinda in between the 2 furthest away gens and then i blast. id say in 1 out of 20 games, i hit noone. the rest i hit 2-3 people.
he is the only killer i play where i do not run lethal persuer.
Corrupted intervention, ultimate weapon, and something else
I’ve also found dev hope-while extremely scummy-is really good on long ranged killers like artist and huntress as well as people with a map traversal teleport like hag and dredge
"next we have barbecue" *puts up bamboozle*
ayo shoutout to corrupt on ghostface, it gives a ton of time early on for you to get your stalk economy up
I love how Kyto stats saying no gen slowdown perks and first mention perk is Corrupt Intervention haha anyways still a banger vid as per usual
I’m surprised you didn’t say iron maiden and blood favor for huntress, both work very good with her kit
I thought you meant like the best overall three perks universally, not individually. Thanks for the vid
I run Pain Res, Deadman's Switch, Barbecue Chilli and Grim Embrace on Artist. It's a disgustingly good combo tbh
The pictures transitioning between killers still got me rolling 😭
Now you need to do 3 good perks for every survivor.
