As a former twins main, one of their most effective counters is to not remove Victor when he’s on you. Without Victor, Charlotte is just a regular m1 killer. If you crush Victor, it’s very likely that she’ll send him after you within the same chase- and Victor is much more dangerous to an injured survivor. Keeping him on you for as long as possible will basically keep her from using her power for as long as possible. The longer you force the player to be in control of Charlotte, the better.
Yeah well, work sometimes. At least i know that survivor isnt doing anything. But yeah i can be annoying. It can give me information aswell. And i might jumpscare that person 😂
For the Trickster counter play, one of the counter plays to his main event is hiding in a locker infront of him, so he has to cancel and get through fatigue and not get grabbed
@@MiserableMuon not bashing, genuine question, but where have you seen that, like what platform? that's news to me and I both play trickster and face him at least 3-4 times a week
Bruh Claudette with the 4th year anniversary outfit, urban evasion, and that one perk that lets you know when you’re looking in the direction of the killer is so op. Especially on the farm map nobody can see you if you just crouch into a corner lol
I LOVE the fact the the "counter" for plague basically plays perfectly into the way i play her, just having everyone be loud and injured the entire match, with a little bit of tracking based on weather gens are infected or not, i usually run the Tablet, and never drik from fountains.
Since lightburn got removed, here's a replacement tip: Wraith:always look around, when cloaked, wraith has a slight shimmer, and this is how good players (and bots) spot wraith. Nurse:asses the skill level of the player as soon as you can, if you get affected by meta perks and/or the nurse has good aim with blinks, focus on stealth and distance. If you get affected by non-meta perks and she misses or takes time to line up her blinks, focus on tricks and buying time for your teammates
For trickster, the best counterplay is abuse his lack of speed by spreading out and forcing him to constantly move the entire map. He garuntes a health state in each chase at least, but if you draw it out as long as possible your team can get a lot of progress done. Also shack is really good against him. Shack has very few spots he can really unload with knives as long as pallet is up.
Shack is iffy against trickster. Ive gone against a trickster with both fire rate addons and that shit was not good to go against at shack. He guaranteed lik 3 knives each time
@@dazai2734 Interesting, I think that is only with those addons though, otherwise I find it really hard to down a survivor looping shack without garunteed losing a gen, sometimes more. I honestly want a trickster rework. Make knives less oppressive in chase but give him more movespeed(iirc he is 110 and huntress is 115 so making him huntress speed could be fine if knives are nerfed.) Most importantly, main event should not run out. I have had so many times I don't even get a chance to use it because of not having enough time to get in position.
@@xandercook5276 Not buffed, adjusted. Less oppressive in chase so he isn't garunteed to take a health state or sometimes a down just because he exists, make main event not go away, way to often I've found that going to waste and being a non-factor. Main event being able to be held would actually let you use it when you need it instead of having to hope you don't get it at a bad time. Trickster also is not OP, just extremely map dependant. Nurse and Blight would be an example of OP. Nurse is nurse, and Blight can traverse maps insanely fast. Trickster just feels OP when you get forced into a chase location with 0 counterplay to him. If you have an area you can constantly take corners so he can't unload knives he becomes really bad.
🌳 As a Blight main, the best way to counter him is to hold "W" and when a gen is on 70% do not try to look around, just stare at the gen, because you have to concentrate on the skill checks, right?
Tinkerer on Blight is so obvious that i just move away from gen when i reach 70% and wait few seconds to see if he comes there lol. The same goes for Billy unless i'm in a spot he can't do a surprise down from across entire map.
For smoothbrain like me, good old premonition and sprint burst combo keeps me out of trouble! Iron Will is also handy, but there's now so many more options!
there are 3 things you should mention 1 - the nurse also has lightburn mechanic. this might be quite difficult to do. 2 - the hag's trap can be bypass by crouching, this might be useful when killer place some trap around hooked survivor 3 - the hag's trap can be removed by flashlight/flashbang, this should be faster than crouching and walk by
1. I honestly never saw anyone trying to lightburn Nurse yet. It's very risky. 2. Yeah, never try to unhook without crouching unless you're sure there aren't any traps around. 3. True, no other killer suffers from flashlights as much as Hag
@@Lyserg1260 1 - well, it's hard, not risky, since you need to predict Nurse's exact position after the blink. This is possible, but very hard, and it sometimes is just randomly guessing the position, where it becomes risky. But in theory, it should be doable every time. I haven't seen someone else do it, but myself I did it like 4 times to save my teammates or myself. High skill cap counter for a high skill cap killer :-)
@@Lyserg1260 never try to light burn a nurse i’m a nurse main and people blind me when they’re at the other side of a pallet so i just look away for a second and teleport to their spot and down them it’s really not a good mechanic to try to pull of against her
To counter Trickster, you have to understand that he can only throw where he can see. Not only that, he's a mid-range Killer. Sticking to loop locations where he cannot be seen can be more forgiving if he succeeds a mindgame on you as his power takes a lot of sight exposure in order to down, but most of all, you do NOT want to vault windows or pallets in his line of sight. You can get hit by four knives during these animations, which is a lot of Laceration charge, but not only that, you will lose your speedboost. Do not hold W against a Trickster either, putting yourself out in the open mid-chase is a very bad idea. Your best bet for dealing with Trickster is looping at locations where you can safely vault out of sight and abuse 4.4 movement speed to try to pressure them into using an M1 but also keep them from using their ability to both deny Main Event and stay alive more. The best way to counter Trickster is to put them in a situation where they themselves are unsure whether to use their knives or their basic attack, which can be demoralising and screw up their focus they need to aim well. Trickster's counterplay is wasting his time so his poor movement speed prevents him from defending Gens.
@@Efnol You want him to hit you with M1, since he's only 10% faster it will take a LOT more time to down you, giving your teammates time to work on gens. You can easily exit the game with only 6 hook stages if the Trickster cannot use his power in chase.
@@Efnol If they do that they waste even more time because 90% of the playerbase runs BT, Unbreakable, DH, and DS, so you're going to have a hell of a time tunneling out a survivor compared to just going out and getting more kills. And not only that, but that's more of a saying on how strong tunneling is rather than how strong Trickster himself is, any killer can really just tunnel someone out of the game for an advantage.
@@Efnol Player skill for killer goes a long way, however same can be said about Survivor, you CAN win all of the games you go into, you just have to play lone wolf. How you die in solo queue is you stick out your neck for others. I don't think Killer side is as flawed as how the game encourages camping due to the effort of finding someone and then chasing them.
@@Efnol You don't want Lethal on Legion, Discordance gives you a lot more value because it doesn't disable after 1st time use and 9 times out of 10 at least 2 people will be on 1 gen at the beginning of the trail anyways, and also if you drop Jolt for something like Thrilling Tremors then you can mix gen regression/slowdown with info if you want a good info build, and you can pop a gen for much more regression if someone hasn't touched it since Jolt has gone off, most people will wait out Pop if a gen is already regressing so that you can't kick it again. Also, I don't struggle, I actually often times find myself winning more than losing, which is why I know Trickster's weaknesses; I know how to avoid falling into a trap that a Survivor may lead me into so I can win.
@@Efnol I main Pig, I don't particularly enjoy stronger killers, which is why I play Trickster. Admittedly I play DBD on PS4 and I don't have very good aim on controller but I can still recognise where a person with even great aim can falter, and I take note of it. I'm not saying Lethal is a waste of a perk slot either, but rather Distressing brings more value to Legion because it can be activated many times and each time shows you an opportunity; info for when many people are in 1 place which is perfect for a frenzy, and their relative location.
Additional Tips for Oni, Blight, Artist and Executioner (Pyramid Head): * Oni - if you want to maximize chances of your team winning, follow this rule. If you are the first one to get chased, and there are no people nearby that killer knows about, jump in a locker as soon as you get hit. That will prevent Oni from getting his first ability and possibly snowballing a few downs. Instead, you will get grabbed, but he will have less than 50% of his ability and just one hook. This is a great addition to predropping pallets in order to keep him in M1 mode for minutes. But, however, don't do this if Oni knows that there are other survivors nearby, since he will just go after them, and get a hit and blood anyway. Also, if Oni is in his power and you think that you will get downed soon, your best play is jumping in a locker. Best case scenario he will whiff a hit and maybe you can get to a pallet, but this will only work in lockers that are in tiles with pallets. If not, it's still a good play since now he will grab you and his ability will end ahead of time, so maybe you saved someone's life. * Blight - actually, kissing the wall is not always good. If a Blight is trying to pull off a hug tech, a moonrush, or whatever tech that involves him gliding around a tile, you are better off stepping a few meters away. Just make sure that there is enough room for the Blight between you and the tile. This works well only if there is at least one wall between you and Blight. Also you can counter him by getting in positions that he must 180. A good example would be the box near the pallet in the shack. If he is chasing you through the pallet side, you can just run in and stay behind that box. An experienced Blight will generally bump on the other side of the shack to catch you, but either you can get out through the pallet side door, or his rush tokens will be up. * Artist - If you are looping her, and she places a crow in front of a pallet, you can bait her by running to the pallet, and in the last second stopping. Most of the times they will try to take their crow off just to miss. And even if the Artist is close to you, and it might seem that this play will kill you, do it, if you have no other options, since after taking their crows off, they can't M1 for a certain time. So you can gain distance and get out of a sticky situation. Also, crows from the Artist can't get high up. For example, if you are playing on Lery's Memorial Institute and you have a swarm on you and the Artist is setting up crows to get you injured, you can run to the second floor of the main room. Crows simply can't get up there and she will just waste her time setting up and launching her crows. * Executioner - if you see P-head charging his ability while you are heading to a pallet, make it look like you are running to the pallet in order to drop it, but double back to the side as soon as you get close to it. This also works with windows. This may require some practice to get a feel of, but it is worth it. Don't overdo it in a match though, because killer can just expect this again, so vary your fakes. This can also work with Demogorgon sometimes, if timed correctly. This trick works, unlike simply running in S pattern, or to the side of the pallet, because experienced Pyramid Head will just cancel his ability and get a free M1 on you.
As legion main, another good counter is to not mend while legion is in frenzy, and just wait it out to make it harder for legion to get the frenzy down. If you know someone’s location as they get frenzy hit, start running to again make it harder to get a frenzy down
Another thing about Freddy and his dream pallets, not 100 percent effective but it does help sometimes. If you’re being chased and you come across a pallet and you’re not sure if it’s real or fake, look on the ground underneath it. If you see pieces of broken wood, it’s a fake pallet. Means he’s already replaced a broken pallet with a dream pallet. Also with the Nurse, one thing that’s always helped me is trying to break her line of sight as much as possible while keeping distance. If you see a pile of rocks or a wall, run behind it but try to be unpredictable in which direction you’re running cause she’s always gonna anticipate your path.
8:28 She can be forced out of her power if you pallet* stun her. In my experience and according to the wiki, pallet stuns are the only stuns that count for ending corrupt purge
Hahah I was thinking that it was all stuns too and that got hit with that red puke just a couple of days ago. You live and you learn, but that head on still slowed her down a few seconds lol
One small thing with pig is watch how they act. If they run to any gen you're on while you have a inactive trap. They probably have that purple add-on that shows auras of people working on gens if they have a trap on. During this be ready for her to have 5 traps and you NEED to get it off ASAP
I didn't know zombies got distracted by the almighty pebble. I love it. Good tips. Maybe I'll be able to actually remember them during chases and not die immediately 🌳🤣
9:31 as an Oni spammer, this is false and rather situational. You only wanna hug the tall wall to break line of sight only if the killer doesn't know your exact location or a complete newbie because a good Oni can absolutely flick 90-180 degrees while demon dashing. Oni is a heavy 50/50 type of killer, your best bet is to break line of sight when he begins to dash and make good use of windows.
@@VelhaTheOne behavior removed that "feature" from oni since it made him too strong. But I'll keep a lookout for your next oni video. I'm a blight main myself. I enjoy hug tech-moonrush and getting Pluto everyday.
@@liasbreen2318 I can for sure make one showing a 180. Blight obviously can do it with adrenaline. Unless maybe I’m confusing something on oni with a 180 because they look similar? Not sure but I’ll double check tmrw.

A true 180 is turning on the spot to look and hit behind you. But in all truth I don't main or even play ya boi Oni.
🌳 Additional tip for Demo, if it’s going for a close range shred try to run in an S pattern. It might not help but if it misses you, it launches very far past you and you can turn around to make tons of distance

What I’ve found works pretty well against Trapper is, similar to Twins, it’s best to work in pairs. If one of you gets trapped, the other can quickly free them before the killer gets there.
just a note for anyone watching this in april 2023 or later: can’t dead hard over trapper traps anymore ! also can’t burn wraith out of cloak anymore. i believe you also can’t get rid of artist’s crows with flashlights anymore. i may have missed a couple of things but i hope that helps
When facing nemesis DO NOT cure yourself at the start because it gives a massive boost for the nemesis power when he makes you infected. However when he's in T3 already always try to not be infected since that will makes him a normal M1 killer unless he want to give you a speed boost when infecting you.
Also for plague, if every fountain is corrupted, she is forced to take her power, and every fountain becomes clean again, so with swfs you can all cleanse at once to give her her power but you also make it so she only gets it once and she might not be able to use it properly.
another quick tip on legion, you can 99 the mend timer and work on a gen or something until legion's frenzy ends or your timer gets close to 0. if you mend immediately you can give legion another hit and possible an insta-down
As a trickster main, you can literally run around a tall rock like how you mentioned w/ Myers and it’ll be effective bc of the lower movement speed. I almost instantly give up chase if someone goes to shack when pallet is still up, or any area similar to that (like main building in Red Forest or Yamaoka Estate). Biggest thing is do not vault over pallets. A decent Trickster can max laceration you in the time it takes to drop pallet and then vault over it. You’re better off dropping pallet and then using walls around pallet to keep looping. If he doesn’t have LOS it’s easy to loop him, especially w/ more inexperienced Tricksters who constantly try to use knives instead of M1. For those kind of killers, you can also try moving into him (similar to the nurse mechanic you mentioned) if he’s trying to throw blades and then away if he tries to M1. I have a much harder time looping Clown than I ever do Trickster now. So even tho this video isn’t super recent, hopefully these tips help people! (:
Thanks a lot man, i surelly will follow this tips from now and forever since i reached iridescent IV on the end of the season. Ty again and a precious tip: play killer, you'll learn a lot. That's it, bye👋
As an onryo main, one of my biggest tips when going against her is to actually just ignore the tvs. A good onryo will keep track of which tvs she’s turned off herself, and can use it as info. And only in extremely long matches will you ever get condemned enough to be mori’d just from her teleporting. If you ignore the tvs, you basically just take away part of her kit.
As an onryo main, please ignore this advice guys, and make sure to always be grabbing tapes, it's the best way to beat Sadako, make sure to never heal either, she really benefits from survivors healing
@@amp7711 as a fellow onyo main I also encourage you to get not run away when onyu demanifest as shes definitely not setting up a back attack oh and always wait at least 2 minutes before attempting to do a gen after shes kicks it...just incase shes nearby ....definitely isn't using call of brine
Unless of course you’re onepumpwillie and you make everyone have a tape at the start of the match and strategically teleport to progress condemn very fast
"Hug corners vs Oni to avoid getting hit" Meanwhile every single Oni I go against doing an actual 180° during dash turn: Blight: "It's virtually impossible to hit you around a corner" 180° Blights: Am I a joke to you?
Tree! Anyway on Trapper, the stalking behind you trick is annoying but you can run Whispers to know if someone could be watching you. Unless I want someone to know I’m trapping a spot (e.g to stop them looping it) or Im using the trap to know they are there I generally don’t place traps unless Whispers is inactive.
The tip I can give against Plague is to hug the wall when you're looping to avoid the puke . And also, try to play in jungle gym where u can avoid line of sight against Trickster so u don't get downed fast. These tips kinda work for me so hopefully it is helpful to u guys too.
Doctor main, one of the best counters for him (and I suppose most killers but it really hurts him) is to remain spread out as much as possible. The less people that get hit by static shock the better. One of my favorite things is when survivors decide to be altruistic or aggressive with body blocks (or just grouping on gens). Even if I lose a downed survivor I can at least get some or all people to T3 Madness which then wastes their time (also free health states with some slaps). Pre throwing pallets and generally just holding W is also a huge pain since he's not the fastest killer. Also baiting shocks while looping will keep him from blood lusting. Also: don't try looping him at small or unsafe pallets they're just guaranteed hits. Eta: Unless you know you can make it to a safe pallet or window don't bother dead harding a shock, it's a waste to do so & I personally love when survivors do that. Great, now I know you're down a perk in chase
I find it really funny that every single thing about Doctor people say to do is stay as far away from him as possible and only play safe loops. Since the map changes there aren't nearly as many of those, so after that it feels like I'm kind of screwed in most instances.
@@jamiegreig9699 killers know that you make noise to draw their attention. survivors love to troll with vaults and such, you just tell the killer there is a survivor within a stones throw of the sound. if its not on a gen or a occupied hook you are literally wasting your time.
3 tips for trickster are 1. even though he's a ranged killer, his knives aren't very accurate and it takes 6 of them to damage you, by holding w and moving side to side, you can waste a ton of his time 2. know what type of trickster you're up against by the way he pulls up his knives, similar to nemesis, most tricksters pull up their knives right by pallets to secure a few hits, while more experienced tricksters don't 3. while the trickster is using his knives not only does he move slower but also the more knives he has thrown, the slower he moves so during main event or if the trickster has thrown a bunch of knives without putting them down, be sure to block line of sight and gain as much distance possible
I always face toxic pigs and legions I didn’t know that you could escape with a deactivated head trap, thx for the help and can’t wait for tips on the next killer🌳
Really basic tip, but when facing the executioner, always try to look at him from behind. That way he will miss most of his ranged attacks, making him a normal M1 killer.
as a trapper main i need to make sure everyone knows that if you disarm a trap you are exposed for the entire game no matter what you do so its better to walk into them 😃
Huntress has an add-on that can give two additional hatchets. On the flip side there’s an add-on that only gives her one hatchet at a time, but it’s an insta-down. Pay attention to how often she’s reloading.
For trickster counterplay, it's all about juking for as long as possible for me. Similar to the nurse, the trickster gets slower when he charges his blades and this allows you to zig zag more effectively until you are behind cover and as you try to keep him behind cover, wait until he has to reload to create some distance from him. I don't know the name of his skills but whenever he gets into a throwing rush or whatever it is called I heard someone say hide in a locker and force him to cancel, similar to bubba.
Not gonna lie, i would love to see counters for all meta perks. I struggle with people running them and my builds usually dont revolve around killer meta perks( i wanna have fun).
If anyone runs Urbane Evasion in their main build then you could counter Trickster using that, just crouch behind the loop and he won't be able to hit you. Also I'm pretty sure he is slower while he has his knives out so if he wants to catch up he will have to stop aiming his knives and when that happens you just run until he pulls his knives out again and then you repeat
🌳 idk how exactly, was astounded when I managed this: Played against a Trickster on Auto Haven, Wrecker's Yard, as Blendette, and half the team was wiped early, just me and another survivor left. I somehow got so immersed that I sort of got into an intense, anxious version of "in the zone" mindset, and the game recorded that I managed to successfully evade 54 chases with the Trickster. I have not been able to repeat this success consistently Mind this was pre-update, before his purple, dagger-hit meter was buffed from 6 parts to 5 parts in order to take a health state, and I'm going off of bits and pieces of memory, but here's what I did : I had on kindred, lightweight, spine chill, and iron will perks. Tried as much as possible to not only loop or zig-zag near anything that could block his daggers, but also to walk and hide (standing-hide or crouching-hide depending on the object's height) in shadowy corners or behind something as soon as I was able to break line-of-sight from him, and slow-vaulting, when I saw he lost me. The trickster during that game tried to follow my scratch marks, only for them to disappear earlier, and then not see anymore scratch marks being produced and have to start searching all over again. Hid when he doubled-backed, walked when he was heading away from my position but was still near, ran when he was across the map ...or had line-of-sight on me again Think my teammate tried to copy hiding in the shadows and behind stuff, but she got caught repeatedly and was eventually sacrificed. I was lucky, both in looping and that the hatch spawned near me Even as I'm still learning to loop, I basically have never stopped hiding, it just works for me often enough, including when playing a non-Blendette survivor
Hiding can work, mainly if u have lucky break and iron will. But without these perks or more so without lucky break hiding will not really work against more experienced killers.
For Oni and Blight, be cautious with this advice. I main Oni with some sprinkles of Blight on the side, but I can 100% say I'm good enough to hit 180s on either killer. Hugging tight walls is only viable against intermediate killers. (I have 1996.6 hours on steam as I'm writing this. About 700 hours are on killer.)
As a blight main I feel like 2 of the tips don't work as we have various techs and strats to counter survivors who wriggle like the shoulder flick and bump logic for the different tiles in game, also hiding behind a tight corner usually won't do much as a blight can hit some very very tight corners, thought I agree with the corn filed one.
That one Legion tip where he cannot see scratch marks when he's in feral frenzy was a glitch it is now available for you to see scratch marks now so use the scratch marks as a distraction go in 100 different ways or so or get your friends to make other scratch marks so he gets weirded out and doesn't know who is chasing
These tips are great against new players, but you're not faking out a decent blight/oni as easy as you made it look. Also, figure out if it's a good billy? lol?
for blight sometimes looping tight is bad because flicking blight is can hit you so if you predict a flick you can get a little away from loop so he misses the flick
Not exactly a tip, more of an observation, don't rely on the HUD when against a ranged killer. The player's pictures at the bottom left will get an effect of little tendrils wiggling around them when they are in a chase, this is useful to know when it is safe to sprint and work on generators as they are occupied with someone else. I noticed in a Deathslinger match though that a survivor was injured yet the chase effect was not active, likely due to the Deathslinger firing his gun at a range. So, just because the effect is not active does not mean that a ranged killer is not following someone, just remember to be observant.
You can waste a pallet on a zombie, but only if on The Game, because wasting a pallet means nothing. You can also do it if you have Any Means Neccessary, since you can pick it right back up.
I play trickster alot if I am in my main event and doors are open do not go for the doors unless your very close to them otherwise I can just use my knives for a easy down, when he is in his main event he will not stop throwing so don't be predictable if I can predict you I can use my knives for snowballing, don't hide in lockers unless he's in his main event which to cancel it stuns him, he will eventually search a locker to reload possibly finding you. when your on a gen and see his knives there is a chance he is trying to scare you pop the gen if he gets close thats when you run, also don't drop pallets unless it'll stun him otherwise it's a wasted pallet and easy knife hits.
I have learned quite a bit from this one video. Thanks for the DBD education, and I hope you break 150k subs soon, and then break the proceeding subscriber count milestone after that as well!
Yo the nurse was one of my hated killers cause she jus kept hitting me but after watching this, the next time I came across one I ran her around for like 2 gens then got away at end as last survivor 😂
the getting close to myers only works against noobish myers. they can look down and actually perfectlly stalk you but the counter to that is run away so its kinda 50 50 with that one
Heal with legion!! They have learned to go after those who dont heal. They stop their power rather then hit you with their power! I think legion is one of the most unpredictable playstyle killer.
11:13 Note that the Blight can mitigate this by simply not swinging until they're directly on top of you. The first lesson you will learn as Blight is simply don't swing so goddamn early.
The unknown Don't always dispell his clones especially if it's near a generator Meg If she's on hook and she always plays bad like always exploding a gen or wasting pallets leave her to die
With the pig did you forgett the addon jigsaws sketch if the pig use this she can see survivers they reparing generators with an trap thats why you shouldn reparing generators if you hafe a reverse bear trap on your head
I’ve learned with hillbilly to never run straight. Always be unpredictable when he revs the chainsaw because he can only go straight when he revs it. If you can find a tall loop or an area on the map with trees, swerve through the trees so he hits the trees instead of you. I’m still trying to get the hang of facing onryo. I’m a Shape main when I play killer…don’t run straight with him either. He gains speed when you do that. Be unpredictable and utilize tall loops.

If u use one of these white masks on your survivour you almost look like another killer😂
I LOVE the fact the the "counter" for plague basically plays perfectly into the way i play her, just having everyone be loud and injured the entire match, with a little bit of tracking based on weather gens are infected or not, i usually run the Tablet, and never drik from fountains.
Since lightburn got removed, here's a replacement tip:
Wraith:always look around, when cloaked, wraith has a slight shimmer, and this is how good players (and bots) spot wraith.
Nurse:asses the skill level of the player as soon as you can, if you get affected by meta perks and/or the nurse has good aim with blinks, focus on stealth and distance. If you get affected by non-meta perks and she misses or takes time to line up her blinks, focus on tricks and buying time for your teammates
bots don't "spot" the killer.
They always know where it is
🌳 I didn't know you were invincible to traps when you get off the Trapper's shoulders. Very gud TIPs 👍

@@holdenchambers3986 huntress is a 110 killer too shes only 115 if you use soldiers putty
@@holdenchambers3986 WDYM!! TRICKSTER IS ALREADY OP AND YOU WANT HIM BUFFED?? NAH
🌳 As a Blight main, the best way to counter him is to hold "W" and when a gen is on 70% do not try to look around, just stare at the gen, because you have to concentrate on the skill checks, right?
lol
yeah, everyone should do this (blight will be the first killer i buy)
agreed! holding W against blight mains is a fantastic counterplay! As a blight main it's so difficult to catch those W gamers
LMAO fax
Tinkerer on Blight is so obvious that i just move away from gen when i reach 70% and wait few seconds to see if he comes there lol. The same goes for Billy unless i'm in a spot he can't do a surprise down from across entire map.
For smoothbrain like me, good old premonition and sprint burst combo keeps me out of trouble! Iron Will is also handy, but there's now so many more options!
Sooo Knight doesn’t have a counter? Good to know.

Counter is to dc 😂
there are 3 things you should mention
1 - the nurse also has lightburn mechanic. this might be quite difficult to do.
2 - the hag's trap can be bypass by crouching, this might be useful when killer place some trap around hooked survivor
3 - the hag's trap can be removed by flashlight/flashbang, this should be faster than crouching and walk by
1. I honestly never saw anyone trying to lightburn Nurse yet. It's very risky.
2. Yeah, never try to unhook without crouching unless you're sure there aren't any traps around.
3. True, no other killer suffers from flashlights as much as Hag
Interesting fact: hag's traps can be removed by blast mine. This happens if she breaks a gen with it activated and there are some traps nearby.
@@Lyserg1260 never try to light burn a nurse i’m a nurse main and people blind me when they’re at the other side of a pallet so i just look away for a second and teleport to their spot and down them it’s really not a good mechanic to try to pull of against her
🌳🌲🌴 which tree is your favorite?
Additional Tips for Oni, Blight, Artist and Executioner (Pyramid Head):
* Oni - if you want to maximize chances of your team winning, follow this rule.
If you know someone’s location as they get frenzy hit, start running to again make it harder to get a frenzy down
By far the best survivor guide for me with 200 hours and looking to improve. Thanks dude
In my experience and according to the wiki, pallet stuns are the only stuns that count for ending corrupt purge
sorry, i should’ve clarified that D:
Hahah I was thinking that it was all stuns too and that got hit with that red puke just a couple of days ago. You live and you learn, but that head on still slowed her down a few seconds lol
This is a weird mechanic since head-on definitely cancels legions frenzy…
For me flashlight saves and ds worked too
@@d4mterro320of course, those are stuns too
One small thing with pig is watch how they act.
As a legion main, i love to make them confused by starting off spam using the power then just chasing them all since they all stay injured
Oni can't 180 anymore... Behavior made certain of that. The 90's tho... That's true.
@@liasbreen2318 you can easily flick 180. I do it relatively easy for both blight and oni
@@VelhaTheOne blight can't do a 180 with adrenaline vial..... Unless your pulling a hug tech into a J flick usually adrenaline vial and umbra salts. But a legit 180 flick is only possible with plague bile and umbra salts double turn add ons. Oni was nerfed because a legit 180 was waaaaaaaay too strong.

Best way to counter trapper as a newb is to step on his trap so your teammates don't get hit by it 🤣
I HATE going against a Cenobite, and this really helped! Thank you man!
just a note for anyone watching this in april 2023 or later: can’t dead hard over trapper traps anymore ! also can’t burn wraith out of cloak anymore. i believe you also can’t get rid of artist’s crows with flashlights anymore. i may have missed a couple of things but i hope that helps
That's good, I thought that she could just stack them
another quick tip on legion, you can 99 the mend timer and work on a gen or something until legion's frenzy ends or your timer gets close to 0.
if you mend immediately you can give legion another hit and possible an insta-down
As a trickster main, you can literally run around a tall rock like how you mentioned w/ Myers and it’ll be effective bc of the lower movement speed.

🌳 I didn’t know most of these facts lol. Thanks for the tips though, it seems really useful!
im incredibly bad at dbd, barely play it, but i have stumbled onto your vids, and congratulations are in order, very good job on them bud!
For Bubba, just like the Oni, try to run around really sharp corners to force a tantrum, which will give you enough time to escape the chase.
"Hug corners vs Oni to avoid getting hit"
Meanwhile every single Oni I go against doing an actual 180° during dash turn:
Blight: "It's virtually impossible to hit you around a corner"
180° Blights: Am I a joke to you?
Fr every single time 😆
LOL 😂
Spies of shadows not bad either
The tip I can give against Plague is to hug the wall when you're looping to avoid the puke . And also, try to play in jungle gym where u can avoid line of sight against Trickster so u don't get downed fast. These tips kinda work for me so hopefully it is helpful to u guys too.
The intro picture for every killer are hilarious 🤣🤣
Yeah sometimes holding w when he's about to use the basic shock can make him miss and lose distance overall
As a Myers and Doctor main, this video was very informative.
🌳 protip: diversion not only works on zombies, but also on every killer
Lol
@@jamiegreig9699 killers know that you make noise to draw their attention. survivors love to troll with vaults and such, you just tell the killer there is a survivor within a stones throw of the sound. if its not on a gen or a occupied hook you are literally wasting your time.

It works on clowns guarding exit gates

3 tips for trickster are
1. even though he's a ranged killer, his knives aren't very accurate and it takes 6 of them to damage you, by holding w and moving side to side, you can waste a ton of his time
2. know what type of trickster you're up against by the way he pulls up his knives, similar to nemesis, most tricksters pull up their knives right by pallets to secure a few hits, while more experienced tricksters don't
3. while the trickster is using his knives not only does he move slower but also the more knives he has thrown, the slower he moves so during main event or if the trickster has thrown a bunch of knives without putting them down, be sure to block line of sight and gain as much distance possible
Update:u can not dead hard through traps
Love the amount of effort you put into this videos. :)
thank you!!
Not gonna lie, i would love to see counters for all meta perks. I struggle with people running them and my builds usually dont revolve around killer meta perks( i wanna have fun).
Some killers can counter meta perks, for exemple i use ghostface cause stalking a fully healthy survivor counter dead hard and circle of healing.
Dude your videos are so good, great job!🤙 You deserve so many more subs, you’ll get there bud!
thank you!! :D

idk how exactly, was astounded when I managed this: Played against a Trickster on Auto Haven, Wrecker's Yard, as Blendette, and half the team was wiped early, just me and another survivor left. I somehow got so immersed that I sort of got into an intense, anxious version of "in the zone" mindset, and the game recorded that I managed to successfully evade 54 chases with the Trickster. I have not been able to repeat this success consistently
Mind this was pre-update, before his purple, dagger-hit meter was buffed from 6 parts to 5 parts in order to take a health state, and I'm going off of bits and pieces of memory, but here's what I did :
I had on kindred, lightweight, spine chill, and iron will perks. Hid when he doubled-backed, walked when he was heading away from my position but was still near, ran when he was across the map ...or had line-of-sight on me again
Think my teammate tried to copy hiding in the shadows and behind stuff, but she got caught repeatedly and was eventually sacrificed. I was lucky, both in looping and that the hatch spawned near me
Even as I'm still learning to loop, I basically have never stopped hiding, it just works for me often enough, including when playing a non-Blendette survivor
Corn blindess. My only weakness.

00:55 no longer a thing for anybody watching nowdays. wraith cant be burned directly anymore.
9:31 NO dont do this against oni with high dpi, it still can hit you!!!
Majority of onis don't flick like that so I'd say still loop tightly
for blight sometimes looping tight is bad because flicking blight is can hit you so if you predict a flick you can get a little away from loop so he misses the flick
Glad to be informed as a killer so I can adjust my play style accordingly against these tips!

On the hag counters I’ve seen( as I do main hag) is use vaulting to your advantage. Hag takes a bit to vault to use this to your best advantage
Being a new player, these were some really helpful tips🌳.So far I'm playing pretty good as David King, and Ghostface.
lol those crazy killer images.. Twins take the cake
killer mains been real quiet since this dropped
I have learned quite a bit from this one video. Thanks for the DBD education, and I hope you break 150k subs soon, and then break the proceeding subscriber count milestone after that as well!
"if you play against a camping Billy" and the footage is just my guy instant farming a hook lol xD
🌳 thanks for all the tips, I really appreciate it as I’m new to the game and have less then 150 hours
🌳nice video, knew almost all the tips but didn't actually use them because I'm usually not sweating
🌳 Thanks for the tips! I just started playing so i don't really know how to counter the hunters but now i do!!!
Actually a really useful video. So many tips packed into small amount of time.
Yo the nurse was one of my hated killers cause she jus kept hitting me but after watching this, the next time I came across one I ran her around for like 2 gens then got away at end as last survivor 😂
i only play as the killer so this video helps me
As a killer main this info was helpful lol
the getting close to myers only works against noobish myers. they can look down and actually perfectlly stalk you but the counter to that is run away so its kinda 50 50 with that one
🌳 honestly i had no idea about the artist tip, fr the artist and the nemesis are 0 skill killers and just piss me off, thanks for the useful tips
As an oni main I can guarantee that oni can hit you around tight corners if he flicks at the right time when striking
Heal with legion!! They have learned to go after those who dont heal. They stop their power rather then hit you with their power! I think legion is one of the most unpredictable playstyle killer.

Note that the Blight can mitigate this by simply not swinging until they're directly on top of you. The first lesson you will learn as Blight is simply don't swing so goddamn early.
I’mma need to watch thins a few more times, so many tips! 😭🌳
The unknown
Don't always dispell his clones especially if it's near a generator
Meg
If she's on hook and she always plays bad like always exploding a gen or wasting pallets leave her to die
If the artists crows miss she still gets killer instinct on you. You have to be a few meters away for you to go unnoticed.
