How to Spirit, Wesker or Dredge
enduring is actually pretty good on its own, usually use it on M1 killers, as it allows you to just w through pallets and either get a hit on a survivor greeding it, or get a VERY quick stun, one of the best perks for running pallets out fast and creating dead zones
Iron Maiden can get a bit of value out of Bubba and Billy since survivors hop into lockers to avoid the saws so then you can bonk em on the head with that exposed status effect
Beast of pray is actually decent when running a bloodpoint farming build
@@AussiePlays9350 for bloodpoints, yes, but I never have got a win with Huntress perks.
For the perks where he didn’t give a tip for:
Beast of prey: paired with the 5% haste from bloodlust you can pull of some better mind games since you lose your red stain.
Enduring: certain killers like nemesis and xenomorph can make good use of it alone, since a lot of time survivors don’t expect you to recover so quickly, and you might be able to get a free hit or insta down if you use the acid blood addon it also pairs well with spirit fury and hubris.
Plaything: This perk is a solid stealth and slowdown perk, even if you run it alone. Using it on killers where survivors want to know you are nearby is a nice slowdown because they have to go and break the totem.
Lightborn: try to hide that you have it by looking down or away. If survivors don’t know you have it you will get them to waste more time and see their aura for longer.
Mad grit: don’t let survivors know you have it, if they try to body block at the hook you can get a lot of injuries and still get the hook off. It also doesn’t scare survivors away like starstruck does.
Iron grasp: while this perk is more of a preference perk, you can use it to slightly counter anti hook perks like flip flop or boil over. The reduced strafe also makes you walk foreward more consistently.
Distressing: This perk does give you a nice blood point bonus so you can use it with thrill of the hunt if you want to challenge yourself and get more blood points. You can also use it on Wesker to make survivors numb to the sound of your terror radius or with doctor for a larger static blast.
Thrill of the hunt: the presence of this perk will make survivors think you are Using it with other hex perks like devour hope, which might cause them to look for it. You can use it alone to make them waste time on a fools errand.
Remember me: This perk does pair well with no way out of you want to make a strong end game build, and is a good endgame slowdown if you plan on tunneling out the obsession since you only need to hit them.
Monstrous shrine: the faster dying speed will force survivors to go for saves faster, and when paired with blindness perks it can cause early second stages.
Predator: While this perk can hurt you, it’s a decent perk for spirit since the scratch marks will be better for in Chase tracking.
Spies from the shadows: you can pair this perk with the xenomorph to see crows while you are in your tunnels, and it will help on indoor maps like Lery’s and rpd where you normally won’t see them.
Thwack: The aura reading and detection range is tied to the object being broken, not you. You can use this on the knight to break far away pallets for some info, and on stealth killers since it is not tied to your terror radius. It also gives aura reading so it’s unlikely that you will be unable to track someone with it, most people don’t use both calm spirit and distortion just one or the other.
Thanatophobia: this perk is especially good on plague because it will force at least one survivor to cleanse which will give you another corrupt purge, or slow down the gens a lot.
Territorial imperative: while this perk is very bad, you can use it on the dredge to quickly teleport into the basement if you see it go off. You can also use it with monstrous shrine to know when to start heading back to the basement with a mobility killer.
Leverage: this perk can pair well with anti healing perks on the oni, and make healing more of an investment if you can hook quickly. Most survivors like to heal before going for an unhook, and this perk activates when you hook someone so it can sometimes force their hand.
Shattered hope: while this perk is dead since the boon nerfs, you can still use it to deal with potential sabo squads. Don’t use it on killers like plague or legion however.
Hubris: certain killers can actually make good use of this perk. Singularity and death slinger come to mind, and can be used well with spirit too.
Iron Maiden: with the upcoming buffs to trickster survivors are going to be hiding in lockers to make him cancel main event, and this not only lets him reload faster but would counter this tactic. It also helps on artist when survivors jump in lockers to remove birds.
Another thing about remember me is that it holds them on the gate. If you have no way out, they will likely activate it and then hide for the duration, but with remember me it keeps them stationary for double the usual gate time.
@@WulfricPendragonmost people don’t know that remember me gains a token any time for the people is used, because the game registers you as the obsession before you lose health, and thus states the obsession has lost a health state. With how common for the people is now, it’s an interesting bite back.
Extra tip for Enduring: Enduring is great for killers that can lunge longer such as Myers or Legion. Don't hesitate to lunge in an attempt to get reversed. That way you can grab them off the pallet or at least hit them while they're vaulting.

Seeing how he really didn't give too much credit to Mad Grit, Lightborn, and Iron Grasp was quite disappointing. Combined with Agitation they're my favorite build to run since it's so goofy yet works so, SO well
Darkness revealed activates when the locker opening animation ends not when it starts, so it doesn't eat up the duration on reloading killers.

I've heard this "just look at a wall" argument for years now. Flashbang exists and I've had it blind me while looking at a wall. When 3 or 4 are bringing flashlights, I'm not going to use all of that mental effort to dodge that, I'm just gonna throw on Lightborn and laugh while they stand there confused why their flashlight won't work.
So I actually think lightborn is a really fun perk when you see a bunch of flashlights and you just want to prank them. You pretend you don’t have lightborn so they all chase after you so you waste their time plus watch them all hold their flashlight at you carrying a survivor while you just straight at them lol. Plus the aura reading on this perk is kinda underrated in my opinion if you pair it with enduring and pretend you don’t have it, makes mind gaming pallets a bit more interesting.
Perks that apply instant gen regression like Pain Res, Eruption and Jolt will work on blocked generators by applying the regression amount. However, generators that are blocked are unaffected by normal regression.
I still think this interaction is dumb since it makes the “blocked gens cant regress” rule inconsistent and leaves repressed alliance seem pointless

You can run enduring on Wraith to negate the 14 years if you get stunned in your cloak
ngl i run thwack pretty often. its very good on killers that can break pallets fast because the info u get from it is very good. also if someone tries to blind u on a pallet break they cant blind you because the scream makes them aim up so the blind ends and you don't actually get blinded so u can get a free hit in most cases
Daily reminder that the aura reading is the most useful aspect of Lightborn and people talking about how flashlights are easy to counter fully ignore it. Even good survivors will often not notice that their flashlight had zero effect if you still use the flashlight avoidance playstyle, but you'll often still get that information on local survivor population.
Further, several of these tips are either dismissive to the point of dishonesty or just wrong. Circumstances alter the use-cases of a lot of these, such as Enduring (itself making you immune to pallet saves during pickup, meaning you can play and pick up aggressively) and its synergy with addons like Pighouse Gloves or Iron Maiden's synergy with Deerskin Gloves/Melodious Murder.
With ultimate weapon the cooldown is actually AFTER it ends, so you can't have it up all the time. It's still too good, because you can have it up every 30 seconds lol, that definitely needs to be changed.
No, stealthy playstyles are boring, usually hurtful for your teammates and cringe, so it should come at the cost of locker trips every 30 seconds.

Jolt now has a shadow buff which is also useful:
If you down a survivor near a progressed gen and hear a scream you know a survivor is working on that gen.
Basically eruption, minus the aura reading and kick the gen time.

I use Plaything on Legion with Third Seal, and it is... so fun. Worst case scenario, the survivors have to waste time cleansing totems. Best case, survivors can't hear my terror radius or see any auras for a majority of the match.

Franklin's is my go-to answer to survivors bringing flashlights. Watch them try and pick them back up because they want to blind you so bad.
Might be usefull to point out than darkness reveals activates at the end of a locker/reload animation, so even on huntress/trickster you get the full aura reading time, hence why it became a really loved perk on these two in particular
Edit: Ultimate Weapon has 30 seconds of activated state THEN 30 seconds of cooldown, making it usable every minute, not every 30 seconds... Still a very short cooldown so usable very often!

Lightborn isn't a good perk, but it is a FUN perk. Especially when you go against a SWF with all flashlights.
one thing about fire up that makes the perk a little bit better in my opinion is that over the match, survivors start to mess up flashlight and pallet saves and that really messes with their confidence
mad grit lets you tunnel people out and be rewarded for it when the team comes for a save because the wiggle timer doesnt go down, starstruck makes survivors spread out, prerunning and hiding as far as possible... no starstruck is not better, it has a different use
Shadowborn is almost must-have on Wraith since his weapon (lot of skins, tho not all) blocks almost half of his screen.
5:00 - Fun Fact re: Discordance and the Twins - While Victor can not see the generator's aura light up, he *will* see the noise alert it creates, making it a rare perk both Charlotte and Victor can utilize. On the subject of noise alerts, they will also attract Nemesis's zombies.
5:46 - One Killer I've always thought gets particular use out of Dying Light is Plague. The healing speed boost the Obsession gets is mitigated by the fact most Survivors, if they heal at all, will do so instantly and at whatever rate it takes to use the fountains.
9:38 - Hex: Retribution also pairs well with Plaything/Pentimento, since it creates/re-creates multiple hexes that can be cleansed to use its aura effect. Worst-case Retribution gets taken down first, a risk for any Hex.
10:38 - More fun fact than tip, but when Lightburn was still a thing it could also trigger Hubris.
For enduring, I suggest using on ranged killers. Catches people off guard if you eat a pallet then hit them anyways, especially with Deathslinger or charge speed huntress

NOED: Always use this perk. It is great for end game builds and for getting rid of the last one or two pesky survivors.
If you find the end game to be the most exciting part of the match as I do, NOED is a must.

leverage works well with no way out, as by the time you get to end game you should have a good amount of hooks. makes for a checkmate endgame scenario.
Thrill of the Hunt is good with Face the Darkness, if I remember correctly it makes Totems take 28 seconds to cleanse while face makes you scream every 25 seconds. Leaving only the person you injured able to cleanse any totems

Distressing is fantastic on Doctor. I prefer it over monitor with double calm add ons and you can almost guarantee hitting every survivor with the blast on 95% of your matches.

Super neat Enduring trick: if a healthy survivor is running towards a pallet, wait to hit them until the very last moment before they drop it. If you do it right, they'll reverse pallet stun you and have to vault back over the pallet, and if you're quick enough you'll have enough time to immediately spin around and down them before they make it to the other side.

Now that MFT only works when a survivor is in deep wound (and exhaustion doesn't matter) I would say fearmonger is good for preventing survivors from using sprint burst when you're approaching a gen

deathbound is decent on killers with long range teleports, like dredge, onryo, freddy. it's such an uncommon perk that nobody expects it, and you can just teleport right to the heal usually. its never going to be a great perk, but it's fun and actually useable on those killers

A comment on darkness revealed for huntress: it was my impression that the perk only starts showing auras after you finish reloading
Enduring makes pallets that require a stun to be safe nearly completely unsafe, for example the 4 way hallway pallet in ‘The Game’ that has a really short wall along it’s side. Even when stunned you can easily catch up afterward thanks to the extra time enduring gives you
Forces hesitation, STBFL, and Rapid brutality can make even the weakest M1 killer like a huntress with no hatchets (just an example, this is not advice to play huntress without hatchets, just hyperbole) a killing machine. You can down a healthy obsession before forced hesitation wears off at around 5 stacks of STBFL.
6:01 But enduring by itself is actually pretty good. It makes smaller loops a guaranteed hit and can even give you free instadowns occasionally. I use it on oni to make that early game hit so much easier. People wanna play as safe as possible so they pre-drop then hold W and enduring counters that so aggressively.

My takes
Lightborn: The aura read of this is CRACKED, it's a good quality of life perk, it's also very helpful and also helps ones who have sensitive eyes (Like me), it can be a crutch only if you make it one. Use it wisely, but it's not terrible
Hex: Face the Darkness: One killer who thrives with this perk is Freddy! Especially with the oblivious effect of the Dream world, highly recommend giving it a try^^
Hex: Huntress Lullaby: I've found this is actually really nice on Plague, I'm not sure why her in particular but it's good! Survivors won't worry of cleansing it either, so you'll get use of it of less-prepared teams.

Ultimate Weapon + Darkness Revealed + Wooden Fox and any other Huntress add on.
Ultimate weapon lasts exactly long enough to proc after wooden fox wears off, effectively giving you a double sonar pulse with 30 seconds of undetectable in the middle.
Thrilling Tremors must get the Starstruck thing of auto activating if the cooldown ends while ur carrying a survivor

With Starstruck, the survivors know to stay away, with Mad Grit, you'll be able to get (possibly multiple) health states

Nuh uh. I get so much use out of enduring without spirit fury. Literally so much value when you swing through a pallet get the hit and take the stun and you're able to turn around and hit again before they have enough time to hop the pallet
im confused by thanaphobia, the tip mentioned keeping one survivor healed completely mitigates the effect but the perk itself says it stacks per person injured, it doesnt require everyone to be injured so they would still suffer the effects in fact it would x3 if everyone but one person was injured
it basically barely does anything unless all 4 survivors are injured because that’s when it gets a large slowdown boost. Here’s a link if u want more info!

Thrill of the Hunt and Distressing is the best perk combo in the game and my mind will not be changed. It's all about the Benjamin's bay-bee!
Hex: Plaything isn't a terrible perk by itself I would say. It stalls time and what makes it so good is that you don't care if they destroy the totem because it's commonly paired with Pentimento. It's pretty much like Pig's entire power for a perk 😂

I use light born all the time becuse it feels like every match i dont use it in, there is 2 teamers who save eachother and yast the whole game. Im using it until they dont force you to look straight in animations

Bloodwarden only works inside the exit gate, not near it, so the effect barely helps
