- So I'm not doing Click Bait, but spicing up the titles a little.
This is one of those reasons we don't get involved in 'Projects' and Shells.
So many things are unexpected and to be honest, I hate to surprise the customer with additional expenses. But projects and Shells should be 'Unexpected expense builds'
We set ourselves 3 days for this project. We had installed a timing belt and water pump on this motor as wells as performed a compression check some months ago. We were confident the motor would be good....Even though we had some surprises.
So Jeff isSelling this car. He has a new car coming.

nice wagon. I love station wagons,. It just says family to me
Wow! That was a quick turnaround!
Lht kills it again, loving the jdi relay you turned me onto for my eg. You guys have helped me with tons of great info, thank you for all your hard work guys!
Thanks buddy. The DJI relay conversion is gold. I wish we had this years ago.
Love the quality work you do
Wow, just wow.... I am seriously wanting to take my '88 CRX B20b build to you guys. No Vtec, just all motor for now, until I have some money to turbo it :-)
Super neat work from LHT . Freaking love watching builds from these guys 😍😍
You guys make beiny a car guy fun. Thanks for sharing the awesome work you guys do.👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👍🏽
Exceptional work as always! You guys Kill it everytime with the attention to detail! Keep up the awesome Content Guys👍👍
great job on an old wagon with a lot of missing parts
the patience on finding the right parts and the time fitting and customizing the hydraulic transmission, meticulous work
really enjoy watching your channel
Recently got my Lht battery tie down and key chain added 10hp to my b series ek!!!
Love this kind of swap. When time comes I'll email you gentlemen for a swap project on my EG sedan. Happy New Year LHT!
Geoff has too keep the auto shift knob 😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
thanks for the connection on the resto tuner 10's. been looking to replace all the old fender bolts on my em1 that i was forced to neglect for about 5 years. tried 3 sets of junk from the hardware store, all rusted. order on the way!
Awesome. Glad we could share their info. They are good guy’s passionate about Hondas
Love that EF wagon ! rare.
Pretty sure a friend of mine that just passed away has tons of these hard to find pieces laying around.
I remember a bunch of old fuel filters laying around with the bolts still in them lots of brackets and many other things. His wife wants to get rid of it all.
You should join the Classic Hondas on the dragon page. Lots of good old school Honda people may be able to help find homes for those parts.
Awesome work guys! The labor is what alot of people dont realize costs so much. It really pays to be able to do it yourself for sure
That’s for sure. Time adds up and the little odds and ends will buckle and dime you. I figured it would be good to share as this is often overlooked
@LHTPerformance right man. Lots of people ask me the same thing about how many cars I swap and flip but as the installers we often over look what we put into em labor wise. Great video tho bro
So much win.
Alternate title: 3 DAY FWD Civic Wagon
Good idea.
Yeah I got a little excited and then no awd
I saw AWD in the title and S1 built in the beginning and was so quick to click (as per usual) hoping to see an awd build 😅 I still enjoyed the video nonetheless 👍
Sorry bud, using a little click bait titles to boost the channel. You can still watch the AWD K sight video, still the only one in the world. 😉
Huge shout out for the Master of Puppets comment 🤘
Katman Mugen-chipped P28 ftw! 😆
I hope the shift knob stays, that's too perfect.
Lol.
😍😍😍😍
If you restore your honda you now resto tuner. He got awesome stuff. ✌🏻🇳🇱
LHT 👌... whats the part number on the LUK master cylinder....I can't seem to find it with that number on it (3459)
I was waiting for the major problem! Good just on the swap, I'm a huge Civic Wagon guy so it's great to see this saved and back on the road. So many of them end up getting scrapped. I have three AWD Wagons at the house. 🥰
A slightly catchy title. Just trying to boost the channel a little
@@LHTPerformance No fault there! I was just worried the Wagon might have gotten scrapped.
@@DashnCars If you know of a gas tank solution , that would something to share.
@@LHTPerformance Are you guys looking to put a factory tank back in or just something to get you down the road? I didn't catch what the fuel tank issue was.
@@DashnCars The fuel pump and tank were
Completely full of rust and corrosion everywhere. That was the biggest problem. Take look towards the end of the video
What throttle cable and bracket did you use on the intake manifold?
ITR cable and bracket
A while back I remember watching a video about you guys saying which brand and color spray can matches the Honda OEM brake caliper quite well. I search and search, watched many videos and I cannot find it. Can you tell me the brand and color you guys use to paint Honda OEM calipers?
We usually use powder coating. For paint, we use use high temp caliper paint by VHT.
@@LHTPerformance great, thank you!
@@spencersgarage You’re welcome 👍🏻
I can use some of that hose?!
L H T 🙌
I have a new OEM sending unit and a made in Japan Bosch Fuel pump.
😲
What's LHT's per hour labor rate? great video, great workmanship.
We are $105 for Custom work. Most packages we we package price them as we are cheaper than most of our competitors
@@LHTPerformance thank you.
I have a 91 ef hatch b20 b swapped with the Monotech harness obd1 p75 ecu… issue I’m having is that the car doesn’t have a rev limiter. The rpms will just keep claiming past the Oem set rev limiter……tried multiple ecus and same thing….. other then that the car runs flawless….. do you guys have any idea what it could be????
The ecu determines the rev limiter. Most sohc ‘chipped’ Ecus don’t have a limiter as there’s no tables past 7400rpms to adjust.
@@LHTPerformance the ecus I’ve tried are obd1 p75 (b18b1), obd1 p72 (gsr), obd1 p28 all ecus are Virgin non chipped also tried a chipped p72 ecu and same issue with all 4 ecus
I don't know that this will help you, but when I had a B20 vtec, I used a MSD ignition (6AL, if I remember right) with chip adjustable rev limiter. I had mine chipped at 8K and never had a problem, for the 10 years I had it. This might be silly nonsense, nowadays... but 20 years ago it was convenient/cheap rev limiting.
