    Good stuff I have a couple of these running in garage. Anyone have recommendations on filters $100-500 for running inside that are " quiet" and actually filter out HEPA (smaller microns) I have just done a lot of paint sanding, construction, I'm afraid there might be asbestos left over or small lead dust particles. Very minimal but want to make sure because the house is a 1912 built house with an addition in the 1960s. I heard only HEPA will filter the low micron asbestos in air.

    Well edited video! IQAir and Aeris are GREAT - and Coway and Austin Air are also good, as well. - the CADR ratings should never be used when deciding how well an air purifier performs as their testing methodology has several holes in it. 😀

    You forgot Austin air purifier. Used by FEMA, various government agencies..Picked by John Hopkins for studies, Cincinnati children hospital and so on.
    Filter changes only need to happen every five+ years and the filter comes with 15 lbs of charcoal and weighing in at 22 lbs overall. The filters weighs as much as the entire filters of some models. Lol.
    These others make you change filters every six months and cost a lot.
    Love my Austin air.

      Amy rose it depends on who is posting the video. I have seen other videos where Dyson did make the cut. I saw a video from a man by the name of Jeffrey Lin who has multiple health issues with allergies, asthma and other health issues that recommended one of the Honeywell air purifiers but it was not the one mentioned in this video. I would think someone who is actually dependent on these air purifiers would be a better resource for the type of air purifier that would help people with severe allergies/asthma.

    People pay for air now, . You need to pay for everything nowadays.

    • @dennisp8520
      @dennisp8520 Před 5 lety +1

      True Teller you don’t have to pay for this. This is truly for people that have illnesses. For example I went my whole life without a filter but than I went to college and one of my roommates bought a dog. I’m pretty allergic so a filter was the only way to reduce my suffering to bearable levels and even then it’s hard to say if it’s helping as much as it could be.

      @crystaltaylor2991 Před 4 lety

      I know it's been a year but still thought it was worth commenting on. I thought the same thing but apparently their is a device that one reviewer used to measure micron particles on the IQ AIR HEALTH PRO and sure enough it went all the way to all zeros after the air went through the final filter which is the Hyper Hepa. The HYPER HEPA has 100 times more filtration than the ordinary HEPA technology. No other air purifier on the market has the Hyper Hepa for under $1k. The IQ AIR PRO is also swiss made so the motor/fan shelf life is more than 10 times what the others mentioned on here are. That's why it's $899 because $380 of that is in premium bulk swiss quality filters! The Hyper HEPA filter is $200 for a replacement BUT it lasts 4 years thanks to the other HEPA ($80 to replace, lasts 16 months) below the motor/fan and the V-5 CELL carbon filter ($100 to replace, lasts 2 years). This system is in a whole different class than the others mentioned so it all depends on the consumer and whether they want premium grade air quality or if they just want to remove some dust and odors. In my opinion the $899 is more cost efficient in the long run when you consider having to replace filters every 1- 3 months on these others. Heck most of the air purifiers wont even last the 4 years that the Hyper HEPA filter does anyway.
