- After yesterday's informational and educational video I wanted to build upon the stellar innovations of the Timney Alpha Glock trigger. This is preliminarily what was achieved
I purchased a trigger from you years ago and it has withstood the test of time. You make an incredible product. What you did with this trigger is unheard of.
We need to see Jerry miculek running this trigger . Can only imagine how fast he could shoot it
You would only hear 1 shot....
This trigger + jerry = illegal without a tax stamp
I have been a long time glock guy and your name is BIG in the Glock trigger game. I love your triggers and after seeing this I can’t wait to get alone of these in my gen 5 g19. Keep up the good work! Please be sure to pass your knowledge and experience on so that generations to come can experience one of the greatest Glock triggers in the world. 🙏
I watched your video yesterday and I should have known you would make it better. Rock on Johnny
You’re amazing! Can’t wait till you get going on these triggers !
Best channel on CZcams. Love my combat trigger and shoe thanks Johnny.
Great job Johnny, i did watch yesterday 👍👍👍👍👍
That’s awesome! Congrats brother.
Thanks for explaining this trigger Johnny
Wow! I wouldn't want the trigger quite that light, but the travel, break and reset are awesome. With your insistence on safety, I'd assume the striker plunger safety is still in play. Well done!
Looking forward to your live fire testing. Can't wait to see what you can do with the Timney trigger.
Thanks Johnny, as always well done.
I had the opportunity to try a Timney Glock trigger with the engineer that is the namesake of the Calvin Elite triggers. It was an amazing experience and it blew the stock trigger out of the water, but I thought there was still room for improvement, particularly in the reset. Lo and behold, it has been improved! Eagerly looking forward to seeing when I can get this upgrade on my own Timney trigger.
Who's the man? Johnny Glocks is da man!!! Great work as usual 👏 👏👏
amazing cant wait to install this trigger just arrived today im going to install it on a glock 19 gen 5 tomorrow
Maybe you'll team up with them some time. "Timney's Johnny Glock ultimate trigger" has a nice ring to it.
Johnny you mad lad!
I saw "3 oz" in the title and thought "oh okay, he removed 3 oz from the 3lb trigger".
Nah, he MADE it 3 oz.
Wow. I was thinking "surely this is a big deal right?" then saw the smile and you mentioned how cool this was. Cool indeed! The way the trigger functioned made me think of a crazy tuned M&P not a Glock. Cool stuff dude. I'm sure you'll be safety testing the hell out of this as you and I both seem to value that above the rest. Good work dude.
@TakeDeadAim Fair point, fair point.
Badass. I would be scared to carry that.
I can't believe what I'm seeing. This is a game changer.
I am channeling my inner JOHNNY GLOCK I love it man thank you
Just wow jg....love it!
Holy crap. This is a genuine game changer.
I can't wait to see how you did this.
Absolutely amazing. I need this for my G48.
You want this in a carry gun?!
What are those splits Gonna look like!!! I can’t believe you can get a Glock pull that short and light and still have it safe! That’s really impressive
I thought he misspoke when he said 2.7 ounces. Oh he means 2.7 lbs. No!! It’s really 2.7 ounces!!! WTF!!??? Ounces!!!! You’re a bad ass JG!! Well done!!!
When the Gen 5 is out, i'll be sending mine to you!
To test the weight, can you use tape to hold the tab down so you can pull the scale normally
Wow! You got some stones dropping that G34 but thanks for doing the test. 👍
You know your in for some good news when Johnny starts a video smirking like a kid who just got caught in the cookie jar.
I would love to have my new timney trigger like this!
Thank you Johnny work it over!!!!!
Wondering about some kind of similar sear drop-in but one which includes some sort of various leaf springs for the trigger reset so it pushes instead of pulls.
Cool. As an exercise of whats possible, this is great. As a pistol with no manual safety that needs to be holstered, this is insane :)
Mind blowing.
The glock whisperer 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Timney just made your life easier and your pocket fuller WITHOUT INTENDING TO 😁😁😁
Thought my 2lbs was nice! This is feather lite! I still have a great reset too, I bought the all black version from midway.
I made a deal where I got one of these triggers for free. I'm looking forward to going out and shooting with it. The only thing I don't like so far is that the trigger is always in the same position cocked or uncocked. You get use to knowing if a Glock is cocked or not just by looking at the position of the trigger. Good thing I'm safe and tread unloaded and uncocked guns as though they're loaded and ready to go. It doesn't feel anything like a Glock trigger.
That’s killer!
The Man!
Wow. That’s insane. Hardcore parkour!!! (I see what you did there. The office).
What did you do to the Timney trigger to enhance it that it didn’t already have incorporated straight out of the box? Can you dive deeper into what you did to make even more revolutionary?
Installed mine bout 4 hrs ago.. this trigger is amazing. But Johnny is correct improvements can be made. But still right out of the box its better than my p 10 c trigger which is saying a lot.
Thanks.Id like to get Timney trigger installed and slicked up.Imnot skilled enough to do it.
Ordered it, I’ll be reaching out when you are ready!
Same for me!
ya we know timney triggers are good. but BAD BOY JOHNNY GLOCK TRIGGERS RULE! keep up the good work bro!
johnny knoxville crazy now
For educational purposes, how was the trigger shoe safety fixed. I have the problem with the safety not reset when letting out the trigger after the firearm cycles.
I am so curious how it would feel! I won’t one of the set ups
Johnny still owes me a modified connector for his G34 Competition trigger that would not reset or fire. 5 phone calls, 3 emails and no success. I have spent $200 for a dead trigger!!!!!!!
Strange way of measuring the trigger pull. (Hence the different returns)
Nice!
I need this trigger in my 34
Wow! Incredible possibilities for competition! I’ll never carry it for AIWB. I’ll stick with your triggers. Thanks so much the PSA....
I'm glad it's drop safe, still worried about those internals though. I'm not worried about them being damaged, I'm more so worried of what you can modify it to do.
I wonder about that as well.
I have a hk and i have greatness out the box
🤣 no you dont.
I received a new trigger shoe for the 19 gen 5. I removed the other one per your videos and the new Install was pretty straight forward. It came with a couple of springs and a little Allen set screw. I did not do the springs yet. And I did not use the set screw. Trigger seems to operate perfectly. I plan on breaking it down and doing the polishing job. Should I be using the springs supplied? Is the small set screw necessary? Like I said it operates great but I’m wondering if there Is a safety concern. Thanks
Can you make one like it for cc? Im guessing that means a little more trigger weight?
damn! Thumbs up. By far the best Glock trigger I've found on the webs after hours of searching (I've only actually tried a few glock triggers - all way inferior to this one).
My main question is: can you feel that pull-weight inconsistency between trigger pulls? ..pull weights seemed to be quite varied - between 1 and 3 pounds (perhaps that's normal?). And bravo for giving props to a competitor - give credit where credit is due! Also, I'm in Australia so it's probably not viable to send my Glock over - that said - any suggestions as to the best trigger set up I could get for competition? (I'm building a Glock 17 rig for IPSC Production Optics Division).
Is Timney working on a Gen 5 version of this trigger yet ?
hey johnny! I am getting light primer strikes with my new timney alpha trigger any idea what it could be?
Are you having light primer strikes with your setup Johnny?
No blasphemy intended hell to the trigger God Johnny Glock
Why wouldn’t the timney work in a g26? The trigger housing and firing system is the same across all 9mm gen3 glocks.
as a high functioning quadriplegic who wants to carry, how much can to modify to how you have it?
That is not an osha compliant way to climb a ladder lol

@@johnnyglocks Gotcha.
Bought one. Only thing that’s got me worried is how dirty can I get my Glock before it seizes up? I can definitely see some debris getting caught up in between the new mechanisms moving parts (if you play in the mud)... We shall see!
Already used it in my G 34-4 at an IDPA match. Smooth. Can it be improved? Johnny Glock will let us know.
do they work on g41 45 acp
I knew Ud figure it out..!!
What do you recommend for a glock 17 gen 4?
Wow!
Dr. Glock, whats the prognosis!?
Thinner wallets. ~ Johnny Glock, G.D.
I don't believe I've seen someone use a trigger gauge quite like that before.
Even when I pulled slowly and then minused that stage weight from the safety tab from the entire pull it was still coming in the same break weight.
Anger issues...Timney obsoleted his business.
Just bought the Timney Alpha Glock Gen 5 trigger, havent even received it yet… how much for this trigger job?
How can I get this done to my gun?
Wow congrats man
Happy Friday everybody!! I just pulled the trigger on a full Combat trigger/ upgrade set-up for my G48. The final piece ...
I have one. Love it.
@@62dobie Got mine a week ago with a defective part and still can't get a response from Johnny... very disappointing 😞
@@k9gustoff, strange. He was very accommodating with me. I called his number, it was his personal cell phone. He answered. He was out grocery shopping with his family and still took my call. I wish you will with your fix. I’m sure he will fix it for you. It is a great trigger.
@@62dobie Right!? I've been watching his videos for a long time and he always talks about how important customer communications are to him. I hope all is well for him right now. I called once last Friday and again this Tuesday leaving vm both times and I emailed today. Seems pretty out of character for him. Like I said, I hope everything is good. Thanks for the well wishes!
@@k9gustoff, your welcome.
So is the stock Timney trigger safe for ccw? Some people say not but they aren't as smart as Johnny
Looks Dangerous as hell.
Welp there’s goes the trigger for my new 17 right there.
Looking for some tips or some help. I bought the timney alpha and put it in gen 3 G19...... I love the trigger pull, it's the reset. I'm ready to pull the trigger out and get something different. I have tried both springs, one of them definitely made it worse. I found some rubbing marks in the frame, so I took a little metal off, did not seem to make a difference. The trigger does return, but it's slow. If I take my time releasing the trigger will not return unless I push it back. I want this trigger to work, I just want a normal return at least as good as factory any suggestions would be great.
You suppose to adjust the connector by bending it a bit.
I got me a Timmy trigger for for my 26 and it didn't work the trigger would not reset a lot of the
When will you be taking Orders ?
Is there a corresponding change in pull weight based on the connector you use?
I used an 8lbs connector and noticed only slight changes.
Why is this a comp only trigger?
can you please do a video on how you heavily modified the safety tab so that it stops catching like you noted in your first timney trigger video????? PLEASURE
**PLEEEAAASSSEEEE
You look like a mix of Steve-O from Jackass and Martin Short on Santa Clause 3. Not an insult just an observation.
Thanks Johnny
Isn't the trigger shoe safety sort of.... not enough now? Since the actual piece that interacts with the striker is separate from the trigger bar, a drop could still give that piece that interacts with the striker downward momentum and potentially fire the gun? The trigger shoe safety seems borderline irrelevant if dropped.
Sweet when can I buy one from you!
First video I've seen of yours, are you from Sarasota?
Yes
That's awesome, but the trigger reach is so short that it's not going to work for me. 😣
I just shat my britches
Would be cool to just get a stronger trigger spring
We’re your measurements correct? In your comments you said the trigger pulls that you got were in ounces. Was it supposed to be 2.1 lbs. I don’t think it could be once’s unless you add the takeup that you got at first to the ounces that you got second. Please clarify.
It's a single stage trigger so I was pulling quickly through the first stage in order to just factor in the break. If I consistently measure the weight of the trigger safety tab it's right about 13.5 Oz if I do a slow pool at averages about a pound so if you minus the first stage 13.5 Oz out of the equation you're still sitting in the 3 oz range
😳 damn!! This new Timney set up could make your G34 a full auto on accident pretty easily ??
Just take all my money! Let me know when you can put this in my 19x
I knew u would fool with it and make it best lmao
Pew pew light strikes, if you buy a timney trigger get a high power striker spring and leave everything else stock
