Seb Lo why? I moved away from Manchester, I now live in Bangkok. Some of the best food in the world is cooked up here, however I still miss home cooked English (Manchester) food, also some of the best food in the world. When you say "UK", that's too broad, it all depends on who is cooking the food.

Gaining weight doesn't equate to quality food, it just means one eats more carbs and protein and is in good mental shape (the opposite can be said of obese people). I've become 15kg heavier living in Thailand and the food here is far less hearty than the food in England, I just eat more due to being in good mental shape.
