People are not recognizing how revolutionary this interview is. This is the only interview I've ever seen where the interviewer actually talks to Morrissey about his MUSIC instead of his public image.
It's not revolutionary literally; I'm exaggerating to express how pleasantly surprised I am to find an interview with Morrissey that asks questions about the creative process and details of his music instead of his personality. No, there are not many interviews that do so. In fact, they are almost impossible to find on youtube.
I’d love to have a few beers with Morrissey, in a regular London pub, with leather seats. A nice leisurely chat and a beer with the greatest living Englishman would be a nice Sunday afternoon.
The number of interviews with him on here now (and Marr) is uncountable, and many too from the early Smiths days. Or you could just watch interviews with someone else! Provocative thought, eh.

I don't know of any of Zane's other work so I can't speak too confidently, but based on this interaction he is a very good interviewer. You all need to get a grip.

I'm not convinced. Instead of insisting he's liked by countless nameless people, perhaps you could tell why he's so wonderful? You might even convince me that he is not predictable and that he isn't some television production company’s idea of what you identify with; actually, I might have answered my own question.

moz left the Smiths over a misunderstanding. that being that Marr wanted to leave the band, which was not true. i wish they would get together . smiths were both marr and moz together. moz and marr wrote the songs and marr arranged the music while moz sang the songs.

Nice to hear M interviewed by someone who actually knows him and his music. I was never a huge fan of ZL, but this is good stuff.
