    Cool stretches. I've been doing regularly yoga for over 10 years, but this feel so different and nicely intense!

    Thank you very much for your videos, love them. I'm an 80yr old and maybe my sight is fading just a little, but I do find it difficult to see what your legs are doing with the combination of dark mat and dark tights. some contrast would be great thanks.

      I often tried to think about this when I’m going to film! Thank you for your message. Sometimes I put my clothes on for the day and then realize I’m filming and only have the dark colored map. I will keep it in mind as I move forward. :-)

    Hi Erin- these stretches are great. I've been watching you for a while, and love fascia stretching. I have a suggestion if I may: Sometimes it's difficult (for me) to follow "with this leg" or "with the other arm"... Instead, it would be helpful to say "right leg", "left arm"... etc. I am trying to mirror you while I watch as if I am taking an in-person class. Maybe it's just me, but I find that very helpful in classes.Thanks so much. Keep them coming!

      I always love feedback! And thank you for watching and trying the videos. I understand what you mean, I actually do that sometimes when I’m doing an Instagram Live (it flips the video to what people think is my right arm is actually my left). I will for sure keep that in mind when I’m filming just for CZcams! Thank you :)

    Could we show a version that doesn't put such stress on the knees? I used to be able to do pigeon pose but with extremely bad knee pain I can't do this or kneel on those poor knees. Thank you for these exercises. I've found remarkable changes in a very short time!

    HI Erin, Thank you for all your helpful videos. I am new to your work. I just watch this video and I did not quite get when you repeated the down knee "resists"forward which to me means if its resisting it is pulling back. Later in video you say bottom knee that is resisting is pushing forward, Can you clarify this?

    • @DailyFascia
      @DailyFascia  Před rokem

      Hello! It can seem tricky, but yes, the bottom knee is resisting forward as if it would slide to the front of the mat. What you’re doing here is contracting the shortened area of your quads and hip flexor. It’s all about direction! But it’s tricky and this work is opposite of what we are used to doing. I hope that’s helpful! Thank you for reaching out. Erin.

    What do you mean by “resist the hip forward” during the lunge stretch. Pls explain.

    how do you add the resistance of the knee at 14:40? I am a bit confused about how to do that part

    • @DailyFascia
      @DailyFascia  Před 2 lety

      Great question and always good to clarify. Imagine the knee that is down on the floor trying to slide forward towards the front of the mat. That action should make your quads contract. It is almost like the muscles would move the leg but the knee/leg is staying in place. I hope that helps!
