    Thank you, I am so glad to find more people explaining how fascia restricts movement. I am a massage therapist and I get so many clients that have low back pain, leg pain and shoulder pain that has been restricting their movement and everyone they would see prior to me only tried to work on the area that was painful. You have to release the fascia that is pulling the painful areas first. Doing this, I have been able to give people back their full range of motion in just one to two visits.

    Since I've joined the navy, it's been miserable. I was a lifeguard prior, as well as a state champ wrestler. I loved working out, lifted 7 days a week, and was very strong for my size. In bootcamp, we sat all day for 1-2 months, and then ran 1.5 miles as fast as possible. We also were breaking into boots. That's where my lower leg pain started. My job afterwards in the Nuke pipeline had us sitting for 10-14 hours a day, 5-6 days a week, in stressful environments. My leg pain went a way a bit, but then returned, and got so bad I had difficulty even laying down. They called it shin splints and basically didn't look into anything no matter how many times I went. This was 1 year ago. 6 months ago, I got costochondritis, and have been in extreme pain ever since, can't work out, not even biking. To make matters worse, 3 months ago I began having pain under my left shoulder blade, knots and strains in my neck, and now my forearms are showing the same pain. My life got so bad that I'm now getting separated from the program because I now need anxiety meds, because I couldn't even sleep more than 2 hours some nights, but still was working 14 hour shifts.
    This definitely sounds like my story. How can I look into this further?

    • @user-ue2ts8dr8p
      @user-ue2ts8dr8p Před 9 měsíci

      @josiahdennis4381 "How can I look into this further?" See alternative therapists only, and stay away from the evil, murderous, lying, willfully ignorant and sadistic MD's. The Navy vaccines and toxic exposures with experimental chemo I had in 1980, which killed all the young sailors I was caring for at then National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, now Walter Reed, left me with chronic pain (aka FM), CFS, and IBS. Chronic Epstein-Barr virus syndrome left me with bodily damages and mobility issues since then. Only alternative therapies help, as meds will only make me worse by harming my liver and heart.
      You won't get help from the Navy/VA. They will just let you suffer and die after ruining your health and life. They say all of my physical problems are "mental"! I used to be athletic as well, and have never been able to get back to any regular exercise, including walking. Puttering around the yard with gardening is about all I can do. Housework is a major work-out! I spend lots of time doing body work with trigger point and myofascial release just to get by, after a car accident in 1995 caused more soft tissue damages. The MD's and VA just want me to lay in bed and wait for death, or better yet, take drugs to hasten my death and harm my liver and heart.
      Laying around only makes things worse, which is why they refused to pay for therapies to help with mobility and symptoms, after the State of CO made me lose my business and income to pay for the therapies in 2017. Luckily, the death of an uncle last year gave me a little money for care, and I turned 65 and do not need the evil gatekeepers from the VA to deny me the care I require for my chronic, incurable, life-threatening diseases. They can no loner deny that I need help, with an honest chiropractor working with United Healthcare! The lies and denial of care for me that started at the VA in 2009 is now overridden. The VA and local MD's really HATE that I didn't kill myself, and stayed alive to get help to get better! Too bad here is no legal help, however, to end their malfeasance. They get to keep on lying, harming, and killing whomever they please, with the blessings of and assistance of the local DA Dan Rubinstein - with impunity of course!
      There is a very valid reason for the high suicide numbers with veterans and Mesa County, CO residents. Many refuse to put up with the torture, abuse, and neglect of the "Lie, deny, and make/let them die" "care" of the military industrial complex and local MD's. All they care about is destroying and killing, while profiting from us and our sicknesses! They even wrongfully imprisoned me to try to kill me off, since I didn't do it myself and am a threat to their drug-and-kill paradigm! I only use alt therapies and cannabis, not deadly big pharma drugs that could stop my heart forever, like they injected into me and tried to take me to court to put me on! Luckily that case of lies was overturned, so I am not a felon because of lying sheriffs of Mesa County, CO colluding with the evil, lying MD's, DA, and VA.
      They LOVE the high suicide rates here! They want us to suffer as much as possible before we die, so more will be "inspired" to self-eliminate. Much cheaper that way! The condoned medical malfeasance and attempted murder using my Navy-/govt-induced medical conditions has not been successful for them yet, due to me being a former Naval Nurse Corps Officer (NCO) that knows a thing or two about saving lives and staying alive! I did 14 years of ICU/CCU nursing, then 24 years with a wellness business.
      Hope you have a good source of income to pay for the therapies, since the VA/govt will refuse to pay for those. I spent well over 50K to reverse the liver damages I got from serving the elite as a NCO, so I didn't need a transplant like I was told I would need someday, back in 1987. Chiropractic/detox care and a while lot more saw to that! I have shared my discoveries of staying alive on my facebook pages, and ridiculed the local corrupt sheriffs and rulers, so was jailed for that, too!
      This police state/fourth reich WILL be under the heel of big pharma! No sovereign people allowed! Controlled druggies only allowed! Then they can shut off the drugs, and shut off/ruin lives, as we see with the current ADHD "medication shortage"! Leave the toxins alone that cause the disorder, and maybe a person can get cancer! So much money to be made from toxic-damaged peons! Long live the "poison-for-profit" paradigm for riches for the rulers, with suffering and death for the peons, according to Congress and the current rulers! Finding the way back to good health and function, and "just saying no to drugs and toxins", is up to you!

      Bless your heart, you're experiencing chronic pain.
      Have you ever heard of Fibromyalgia? You could possibly have had a blood clot in your lower leg due to the prolonged sitting required by your job.
      You would benefit from a internist or rheumatologist work-up. I've lived with chronic pain from Fibromyalgia for 24 years (after MVA). Only things that help me are daily stretching, 1200 mg total of Gabapentin a day and Mirtazipine (Remeron) so I can sleep through the night. Cuz I'm basically always in pain, but I "manage" it with disciplined modalities. (heating pad, ibuprofen gel,etc). I relate deeply with you and hope this helps a bit.

      Hi. Have you tried going back into an exercise program? Perhaps you can start with simple stretches, then move on more challenging muscle building. Also, yoga might be able to help as well, with flexibility and even some strengthening as well. I truly hope you are able to find what works best for you to get you out of that valley! My best wishes.

    Key insights
    🌬 The lymphatic system plays a crucial role in the immune system by circulating lymph fluid and returning it to the bloodstream.
    🧠 The fascia system offers a new perspective on human anatomy and chronic pain, challenging the traditional approach of solely focusing on specific areas of pain based on imaging results.
    🤔 The lymphatic system and fascia system are interconnected and play a role in chronic pain.
    💪 The loss of mobility in the arms can be a significant issue in chronic pain conditions.
    💪 The negative effects of restricted mobility in the spine can impact other areas of the body, such as the shoulders and neck, leading to potential pain and discomfort.
    💪 Fascia restrictions can contribute to chronic pain and limited range of motion, emphasizing the need to address and free up fascia restrictions for pain relief and improved mobility.
    🏋‍♀ The correlation between restricted movement and the ability to work out without pain suggests that chronic pain can hinder physical activity and exercise.
    💪 The goal is to get individuals back to more activity in an intelligent way, which can greatly impact the health of their lymphatic system.

    Thank you for that information, that is vital knowledge to know as a rehab specialist. I completely agree with your analysis and I would like to further add that in addition to the fascial restrictions, many times there are also muscular restrictions in the same direction as the fascial restrictions. In this example in the side lateral bending of the spine, due to the fascial restriction on the right side, most likely, there would also be a muscular restriction in the lateral side of the spine involving muscles, such as the quadratus lumborum, the obliques, the latissimus, and others. Now the question is, did the fascial restrictions come first?, Or did the muscular restrictions come first? It doesn’t really matter which came first, what matters is that all soft tissue restrictions in addition to joint restrictions are targeted.

      One has to be very careful with cupping, as cupping works on more on increasing
      Subcutaneous glide … the proprioceptors that tell the deep fascia how much tension to hold are actually subcutaneous… so without proper evaluation, even though this is relatively noninvasive, it could have quite an impact either for good, or for bad!! we have seen people with VERY adverse reactions coming to see us after they’ve had cupping done elsewhere.

    Hi. Kinda random but on Monday i went to the gym. (20 y/o woman). I stretched as usual. Sometimes i get lower back pain like when i do hip thrusts and it goes away. Monday i started off doing hip abduction for the glutes, i felt pain in my lower back, it went away after i fixed my posture on the chair. Then i did summo squats, no pain. My friend convinced me to do cardio with him on the elliptical machine. I did a 1.21 mile on it. I never do cardio at planet fitness because i want to gain muscle. My lower back has been killling me ever since and i feel its because of that machine. I was on it for 24 minutes total. Im not sure what it is. It hurts to sit. I never had this issue before. I just wanna know if it could just be a strain in the muscle. I dont know any good lower back stretches. Yoga gives me temporary relief and i did yoga, i still feel a huge tightness in my lower back.

      Try standing in front of something fixed, that's about the height of a bar counter, get a firm grip with both hands, then begin to lean back while you put your weight only on the heels of your feet. You'll feel the stretch in glutes & from butt to your calves. This may help to give you immediate relief.

      your hip and your glute is most likely pulling your lower back and you probably have knots on the tip of your IT band. try loosening your groin area going around the hip to your lower back.

    I understand the concept of fascia but I’m not understanding the ‘fix’ to get more movement if movement is restricted by tightness and pain.
    And I’m not understanding the relevance of the lymphatic system relieving chronic pain. Yes I understand more free movement is good for the lymphatic system but if you can’t move much then isn’t your priority worrying about pain free movement rather than linked systems like the lymphatic system?

    • @Life360Summit
      @Life360Summit  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Thank you for your question that was indeed our point. the point is to first properly assess & balance out the myofascial system, in order to restore, pain-free ranges of motion, which would in turn benefit the lymphatic system.

My life is ruined because of a drugged out doctor that butchered my face instead of doing a simple biopsy (which was never done). No one can help me, YET. Doctors are afraid of doing more harm in trying to fix things.

      I think saying that it can cause nerve damage is going out on the limb however, it can absolutely create nerve involvement!! Look up, Fascia entrapment neuropathy.
