Stephen the great thing about CZcams is that Sid is never before anyone's time, as he is always here on CZcams, archives are fantastic, and you can enjoy Sid James much more now in 2020 than in his peak of 1970.

No they do look older, it was like a different time, not sure if life was harder thus took a toll or lack of cosmetic enhancements a lot use today. Aside from this they were gems I'd love to have a chat with now 💁

Amazing the great Sid James and Les Dawson this is pre 1976 ( Sid's death) and yes I believe the story of Les seeing Sid's ghost in the mirror of dressing room 1 in Sunderland empire 1989 where Sid died on stage in 76. Apparently he heard the dirty laugh first , then there was a smell of whiskey Sid looked terrible pale clammy, black eyes and said something vulgar Les took that to his grave...

Sid James class act and Les Dawson was a genius ......😀😀😀

sounds like the kind of thing the unfunny Cryer would do

Its like a 70's version of Mock the Week
Mock the Week is like a modern version of Jokers Wild.
Much better though
they copied mock the week, retrospectively. clever.
