“Sean, why don’t you open up the curtains and I’ll let the sun in?”😂😂
The extended whelk bit is gold.
I can't find it funny, because he's just eating a cup of whelks, a standard seaside snack. It's just like everyone laughing because he ate the doughnut.
I will always come back to the first clip. Just pure joyous laughter from Sean
His laughter is so contagious, and that's probably the most I've ever seen him laugh
@@taaamas7785 Joe Wilkinson's poem has to be the hardest anyone's ever broken Sean, but Miles may well be in the second spot.
Smiles=Sean and Miles. Jimmy said so himself. That will forever be the team name.
Those two remind me of the two guys who sat in the back of the classroom making everyone laugh.
I miss Sean! I really genuinely miss him. I’m just a dude watching him on telly. But it’s a real, crying shame he’s no longer here.
Miles is of the people it always seemed like Sean had a genuine off air relationship..along with Bill Bailey, Jack Dee, Harry Hill and Johnny Vegas.
Agreed, especially Johnny Vegas and was definitely long term pals with Bill Bailey
‘Smells of loneliness’ is an underrated line
Making Sean laugh is the comedians golden ticket and nobody busy Sean like Miles
I was hoping to hear "Just pick your letters, Miles" "Fine, um, all consonants"
Encountered Miles in a comedy club once. He clicked his heels together like old fashioned gentlemen, what a guy! He’s also got a hilariously self-aware show opening line (not sure if he uses it all the time though) - he walks up to the mic, and says “Thank you, thank you, I’m very privileged” 😂
Love you Sean Lock, gbnf ❤️
Even across the pond Sean is heavily missed, RIP buddy.
By far my favourite duo on cats does countdown! Sean & this duo will be deeply missed by so many ❤️
While not in "duo" mode, the infamous "I won't spit on you when we're making love tonight" comment by Sean, followed by Miles' "good luck getting it in without the spit" bit is by far the GOAT.
Forever missed. R.I.P SEAN LOCK ❤💐❤
cheese on toast, pint of bitter and a scarf
Of all the panel shows, this happenstance mashup really turned out the best, by far. The format is just so good.
Sean was one of the funniest guys on the planet!
They missed the clip with Claude (the stuffed animal).
This was a compilation where Miles and Sean were on the same team, in the Claude episode (as hilarious as it was), Miles was on the opposite team.
Hearing Sean Lock laughing, such a great sound
Miss him on a daily basis
Sean, you provided me with many glimpses of a bright sunny day. Thank you for the laughs… RIP :(
RIP Sean, you magnificent bastard.
This was Cats Does Countdown at its finest. It’s not the same without Sean and it never will be. Miles Jupp is a fantastic comedian - I wish this show would bring back guys like him.
The whelks bit is so funny.
The comedy pairing you never knew who needed to write a sitcom together
The whelk bit is the absolute funniest,
RIP Sean
Seen these a million times and happy to watch a million times more. Cheers to the “absolutely sizzling” duo 🦦
These two were incredible together, like two old friends who had hit the big time together. It's what friends that joke with each other dream of.
Had no idea who he was until cats does countdown , brilliant together, miss Sean very much absolute legend
These two together , comedy gold, never fails
The double act that shouldn't work as well as it did
you know miles has unironically has put up the sean snowglobe now
The whole Whelk bit was awesome :)
'O'bergine 😂
Miles randomly pulling out a pic of Sean always gets me 😂
I love reviewing these old clips occasionally. Always hilarious. Sean is sorely missed.
You can see how much Miles loves Sean....such a sad loss but glad we still have him with us
This missed one of the best interactions (S2 E2) when Miles and Sean were on different teams and Sean offered to not spit on Miles when they had sex. Miles replies "Good luck doing it without a spit"
Such great chemistry between these two. Sean really was the comedian's comedian.
My favorite duo ever!
It’s all the naughty ones at the back of the class.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Seem like real true friends. Good lads.
Whelks are a delicacy here 😂 in Brittany, Sean is a true Breton
Some think I've ever seen the full video of the whelks. Thanks for posting. Sean was a genius.
These two were great together. Everyone must miss Sean terrible. I know I do. I’m sure he has them in stitches in heaven
God bless Sean. No one as funny as him has come along.
This is the compilation we’ve all been waiting for
I think it's the only time you see Jimmy Carr completely and uncontrollably corpse when it was those two together!
Just brilliant
Rest In Peace Sean Lock. 🙏
Absolutely love seeing the original and whole scene ofthe whelk bet. Seen the edited version hundreds of times but this is superb 😂
A "double barrel " !
Sean was a legend.
Sean & Miles were an epic team!
I’ve seen the slow-cooker bit several times, and only just picked up on him using “Union” instead of “Onion”, because he needed a U ingredient. 😂
@@anushka_bananushkaI did! I don’t recall them right off tho. I need more sleep or a coffee intravenous.
Whelks are lovely! Especially with proper vinegar! 😋
I love this show.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
I wonder where the snow globe is now 😊
10 pounds! Classic
The pairing of Sean and Miles was enlightened. Together, they have no reck!
Miles and Sean's relationship is like a guy who married into a posh family and became BFFs with her weird brother.
"He was just a very happy person. It shone (Sean) out of him." Very good, overlooked joke!
I've often thought it was a shame that Myles and Sean never teamed up as comedy act. As this clip proves, they could read and bounce off each other to perfection!! As a duo, their comedy was as natural as it was world-class - and we are all the poorer for this lost opportunity. 😟
Legend. RIP mate.
I was speaking to the bus dirver this morning about what he ate for dinner last night and he said whelks and i said i recognised those from somewhere and was really racking my brain as to why they were so familier and now i know its from whne sean eat them all. What a coincidence this was posted today!!!
From the River to the Sea, we want Liver and Onions for tea!
I love it when something would make Sean grab his rib through laughing. Sorely missed
13:14 A pint and a fight - a great British night
14:49 Cheers Sean
Sean’s laugh in the first clip is the best. He’s definitely missed.
Seán and miles are hilarious together, (were)
I miss Sean so much
To be fair, Lemon curd is higher up than Nutella
I wish these two had gone on travel man together.
Where was Claude? You can't have a Sean and Miles video without Claude!
Did they actually donate the 10 grand to charity?
Rip Sean you absolute legend
In another compilation someone said they were in the studio that day and Jimmy really did settle it up.
No Minotaur? Denied!
Did the show pay 10,000 pounds to a charity for the whelks?!
Funny how the dictionary considers the word "minotaur" to be a proper noun, but will add any word or acronym that becomes somewhat popular for a week. Clearly, there has been more than one minotaur referenced throughtout history. Now I feel like David Mitchell and I will keep the rest of argument out of my post.
Minotaur was one and only, in Crete, in the labyrinth of king Minoas - built by Icarus and his son Dedalos( who then tried to escape by flying with wings made of wax, which ended badly as you might have heard) ,during the Minoan dynasty.
The name was given to the labyrinth ("Dedalo-des" in Greek is a synonym of "labyrinth-like")from the name of the son ,and minotaur was named after king Minoas.
So no,there aren't any others in history anywhere.
If you`re gonna be sick ? Do it in the stew 🤣
I had to look up WTF a whelk is.
That was painful 😅
I miss Sean Lock
I always wonder if 10k was ever paid to charity for this 😂
Whenever Jon goes to Poland, does he get chased around by knights?
19:35 Munter
I miss Sean
No “good luck without the spit”?
It was funny until I googled what a whelk is.. than it was hilarious 😂
I use I can see the good and the bad
Did they ever make the £10k donation?
They have the same nose!
Even in Russia Sean is missed.
Yep. Now, it's 2024. Sean is long dead. Miles is the Emperor of Austria ... in the worst movie Ridley Scott ever made, but still, I recognized him in the very first second. I started yelling right there in the cinema: that's not the Emperor, that's the guy Sean Lock was gonna fuck without a spit!!!
Not alot of people know this, but eating whelks has been known to cause lung cancer
If you put Miles Jupp, Ray Mears, and Adrian Chiles in a row, I wouldn’t he able to tell you who’s who 😂😂😂😂
"I dunno about you, Miles, but I'm on the fence" is probably one of the funniest things I've ever heard in my life
Even just the set up of "He was whispering to me about Hitler" is a hundred times funnier than it should be
Also when Sean said Jimmy didn’t have Hitlers warmth.
Yesss the whole bit is so underrated 😂
Could anyone explain? I don't get it
