Kaleidescape Mobile App Review | iPad iPhone Mac Deep Dive & Overview | The Best A/V Mobile App

In this video, I am doing a complete deep dive, review, and demonstration of the Kaleidescape platform mobile app on the Apple iPad (also available for iPhone, Mac, and other platforms). This is one of the best audio/video device apps around and a huge positive for owning a Kaleidescape system. I am using the app in conjunction with my Strato C and Terra C Kaleidescape devices.

I was a beta tester of the Kaleidescape App many years ago. The App was good on day one, and has continued to improve since then. Kaleidescape are always tweaking the App with new features and fixes. And it's free! The Kaleidescape system not only supports iOS mobile App but many other control systems as well (Crestron, Control4, URC, AMX, Philips Pronto and many others).

If Kaleidescape had a different name (ie: Movies Anywhere) AND offered you to watch the movies on an ordinary smart TV device (albeit smaller bitrate), they would dominate. Love the UI. Way better than your Apple TV library/collection.

Can’t wait to see it. As a super nerd I downloaded the app myself and have a few questions I hope your video answers. I see they have at least one Jurassic World in DTS-X but didn’t see away to search for ALL DTS-X movies.

Well again I can’t comment because I have 0 experience with Kaleidescape. Too expensive startup but would Love to have it. I cracked up when you said lets get off this page before I accidentally buy $1600 worth of Movies. I just did the same thing with Walmart+. I bought some automotive oil online and an hour later I saw a pop up stating “Thanks for purchasing Walmart+”. I guess I inadvertently pressed a button. I hurried up and Canceled!!😂
Wouldn’t you know my Tv picture is barely showing black & white now no color. Just happened a few minutes ago. I’ve only had it 3yrs and needs repairing already. This is originally a $4,000 Tv. Absolutely ridiculous! Electronics doesn’t last at all now no matter how much you pay!! I have a 70in. 1080p 3D Tv I bought 8/9yrs ago and still works flawlessly. Guess I’ll move it into my Living room for my main viewing for now! You might want to get an extended warranty!🤬👴🏽

Just on your comment about "electronics doesn't last at all now" the hard drives in my Kaleidescape server have been in operation for over 500,000 hours with only a single failure in all that time. I have had no other hardware components malfunction in 15 years. That is outstanding reliability.

@@brodricj3023 Glad you are having 0 problems with your electronics. I on the other hand are experiencing all kinds of problems.
