Candice I really appreciate how detailed you are with explaining your technique. I need to mention that I transitioned 4 months ago and I've watched countless youtube videos on how to maintain but you were the only one that I came across who explained when to use water and adding very little water to your hair on day 3, and 4 after twist outs or wash-n-go. I was of the mindset that the more I midst my hair the more moisture that I would keep in my hair but the end result was that it was reverting my hair. I'm learning that there are countless mistakes that you make when you first transition but you helped me get over one of my biggest one. Thank you so much for the explanation and I really appreciate and enjoy your channel.

🤗Hi Candice! I'm so glad I found your channel because I've been having a lot of hit and misses with my wash and go's!😑 Especially when it came to shaping and amount of product use! 😖I started out with Cantu, however finding out they're using rubbing alcohol in their product 😲I have canceled them! In your Wash and Go video using the Mane Choice products, I loved the part where you showed us how to squeeze out the excess product--wow, it made such a difference in my curls! I also found it very helpful about how to lift the hair with the pick, and not to comb it through but just gently lift it! I did my wash and go today however I messed up a very important step 🙄, so I'm back looking at your video again 🤓until I get it correct! The first time I watched the video I twisted my hair then I realized you didn't twist your hair 😮so I had to remember not to twist it! And this time when I did it, I added Black Jamaican castor oil along with the leave-in, 😥big mistake! So for now, I'm just going to let this one go until next week because I have already let it air-dry and I really don't want to rewash my hair again! I took the time to watch the video earnestly, and paid attention to each step so that next week I will get it right😏! Thank you again for such informative videos that are short and sweet and to the point (I like that a lot)! Thank you too Miss Candice, for your sweet, beautiful personality! And girl, your hair is gorgeous, I'm already looking forward to next week!😄

My hair is the same way in the front! The first time I used the denman brush on my whole head the shrinkage frustrated me so much I never thought to try again. This is a good idea though!

Okay I'm definitely going to try this! I've used the Eco styler gel on my edges and found that it left them hard and crunchy. So I'm curious to see how my curls will react using the super cream under the gel and may even try it on my edges! Thanks for the tip!
+Lauren Alexis XO No problem! I would still go easy on the ecostyler if you know it leaves your hair hard. You might even be able to use the super cream without the gel.

I have to tell you that after subbing to your channel, I immediately headed over to your IG page and after scrolling through your posts I was surprised to see, what I believe is the photo my Stylist used as reference to cut/reshape my hair 2 weeks ago!! She initially showed me a photo of a woman with a very tapered cut and then showed me your photo. I immediately pointed to your photo said I loved the shape and she got to cutting and so far am LOVING my new cut and shape. Not to mention after getting anywhere between 2-3 inches of my hair cut off, it feels amazing!

Oh my god I finally found my curl twin ! Subscribing right now ! I have struggles because I've been seeing girls everywhere getting great definition and curls clumping together with only their fingers, yet I can only achieve the exact same result as yours only with a brush when I'm doing my wash'n'go ! And the problem is, when I'm using a brush, way too much hair are clumping together to form a curl, and I don't want that :( Im going to try how you did it now and see how it is :D

Great video! We have the exact same wash n go method down to the products as well. Although sometimes I make flaxseed gel to use in place of the Eco Styler olive oil gel. I like me second day and third day hair best. Just subbed, already follow you on Instagram, beautiful. :-)

And yep I use this same technique, except I shingle which takes forever. 😩 But I'm gonna try using a Denman brush or finer tooth comb and see how I get on. Also like you my hair takes FOREVER to dry and I'm going to invest in a diffuser, so I just wanted to ask you, do you use cool or warm air to diffuse pls? And how long does it take to diffuse? +vicky rijo Yes, there are a number of products you can use. I recommend trying Eden Bodyworks, TGIN, Shea Moisture, Carol's Daughter, Kinky Curly or Camille Rose Naturals. Some naturals swear by Cantu products but I can't vouch for them. Target, Sally's and Walgreen's all have an excellent selection of ethnic/natural/curly hair products. I also like the Aussie Moist 3 Minute Deep Conditioner and Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Conditioner. I hope this helps :-)

I love your hair! On day 1 hair have you tried shaking it ?! It gets like the perfect volume somehow
Thank you! If I use ecostyler gel, nothing will give it volume on day one lol. However, I can get volume on day one if I use a gel that doesn't have a strong hold.
+Candice Arielle yea I usually use frizz free curls gel or sometimes even grape seed oil. Grape seed oil holds surprisingly and it's super light.

First- gorgeous hair! I've followed you on IG but finally watched your wash and go video realizing we have very similar curls and routines. The difference being I do my entire process (including styling) in the shower and I use only a leave-in and gel. You have way better hang and volume. So I'm thinking of trying the supercream. Do you get any residue or flaked using the supercream and gel?

+Anisa Mkwanazi Thank you! Eco styler can be drying so make sure you use a moisturizing leave-in under it. It can leave your hair feeling crunchy but you can get rid of that by scrunching your hair when it's dry and breaking the gel cast. It gives great definition and I can typically get my wash and go to last 7 days when I use it.
