I thought 6 cores would be enough, a maximum of 8. Games still do not develop, only promise breakthroughs. Thanks for the video.

6 cores is enough for the average game, as u can see there isn't much difference with more cores sometimes even none, 8 cores is the sweet spot at the moment

actually they are enough, it's just SMT is disabled in this benchmark

@Crypto Arnold i bought a 5800x3D, got a dark rock pro 4 tower cooler and have had absolutely 0 cooling issues, well thing is i couldn't really put it to the test since this cpu has disabled overclocking but still i rarely go over 45C° which is pretty amazing

@Crypto Arnold You can limit the game to only 6 cores if required. But it's good to have 2 additional cores, if required some day.

For high performance gaming 8 core and 12 core is the way to go. Money efficient vs maximum performance.

12 core is pretty stupid for gaming rn. I think 10 cores is the max a gamer should need, like the i5 12600k.

2010: Dual core standar/Quad core future
    2015: Quadcore standar/Hexacore future
    2020: Hexacore standar/Octacore future
Maybe in 2023 we will need octacores as standar

In 2020 octa core is not the future it exists, or did you mean high-end?

for a more accurate results to real world usage I think hyper threading should be enabled since almost every modern CPU has it

Uf resolution was 1440p, 6cores would be more than enough

8 ядер это уже минималка начиная с 2023 года, дальше игры будут еще больше требовать. пиздец дожили чтобы просто поиграть в игры нужно заплатить пол миллиона рублей за комп

    Help me, i5 11400f (6 cores) or i3 12100f (4 cores)

go with the i3 its better performing in every way

@@ibadkhan5155 I saw a lot of videos about i3 performing better than i5 but I thing some games perform better with 6 cores. Thats why im doubting.
