Hi! Thank you for all of the information you have been putting out there about thoracic outlet syndrome and your experience with it and the surgery. I also had the ulnar nerve transposition surgery bilaterally, and about three years later (just a few months ago), I got diagnosed with thoracic outlet syndrome. I’m pretty scared, and just hearing you talk about it is very helpful. Thank you 😩❤️

Also for the herniated discs I highly recommend artificial disc replacement in the neck. I had C4 five and six replaced last year. Have full range of motion in my neck. Unlike fusion which would cause long-term chronic pain and more spine damage

So grateful to have found your videos. And same position as you. I’ve done Physio for 2 1/2 years. Plus Botox injections for one and a half years. Apparently of Botox helps it’s a good indication that surgery will be successful. I love your knowledge and your insight. So glad you’re doing a lot better. I appreciate you and your videos and I’m very grateful

Dealing with the same issue. It's a work comp case. Just finished my first round of PT The physical therapist said he would bet %100 it's TOS. Unfortunately the comp doctor seems to think it's going to heal itself, and that I just need to strengthen my shoulder. Keep in mid I still haven't been scheduled a MRI. Soo frustrating. Thank you for sharing your journey 🙏

If it’s nTOS, they do say most can be resolved with PT and fixing posture, but I would definitely keep pursuing another round of PT or seeing if worker’s comp will allow you to see another specialist if PT still fails. Wishing you the best 💕

Thanks for sharing your experiences with tos. I am 81 yeast old male and just wonder whether I should have surgery for my tos. My question to you is did you have robot assisted surgery in Mayo clinic?

Your videos are so helpful 😭 I haven't been 100% confirmed that I have TOS, but they're pretty sure that's what it is, just not what type yet. Its been going on for 10 years and I don't even know how it originated. I'm at a loss because they've done SO. Many. Tests. and they all came back normal. Its getting worse now with all the stress of life and I don't know where to turn next. That Mayo Clinic meeting sounds like what I need. I haven't found anyone here in my province (Canada) that has actually been able to help me!! I'm about to start my second round of physio, I gave up the first time but realized I should try it again. I'm just curious, what kinds of things did you do at physio? They hooked me up to a machine and sent electricity through me and it was not enjoyable. Do you have any stretch recommendations I can add to my morning stretch routine? Thank you so much for your content, nobody understands what this condition is like!

Are you able to use the computer now? Does it bother your neck? Do you still have neck pain? Are you able to work? I have similar symptoms. I am commenting through my husband's account. My name is Tanya.

Hey there Tanya, sorry for the delay! Yes, I am able to use the computer now, and I do my best to take breaks to stretch so I won’t have pain. I occasionally have neck pain but that’s more due to stress than my computer usage. I am still able to work!

@@thoracicoutletsyndromether8930 That is amazing. I am so happy for you. It is wonderful to see someone improve so much from this surgery. I have it on both sides but I mainly have pain, discomfort, numbness. It is hard to know how to proceed when having low level pain most of the time but not really high pain levels. I am seeing a top TOS Dr. in March.

@@DWaynePhillips-nm7vg and the improvement continues, thank God! And I understand about the chronic pain. One of the best things I did was go to a group session at Mayo Clinic where they taught on chronic pain (at all different levels) and interventions you can do to lower pain levels over time. That may be a great asset along with seeing your TOS specialist!
