Does anyone else find these videos way more helpful than reading the actual book?
I have Mike Meyers' book and just can't stay focused on it
10000x more helpful. His videos in this playlist and his practice exam videos have been game changers for my A+ studying.
But i was curious dont we still need the books? Like does his whole course cover all the exam or do we still need to go iver stuff in book that is not covered here?
@@BarakYisrael my classmate, who recently passed his A+, said the videos are good for learning the information but mock exams are what helped him retain and test the knowledge. Good luck to you and everyone else studying for this
@@GlodyMabala thank you glody
The drawing sure works....VPN is stuck in my brain now...will never forget it
You are a born teacher.....i enjoy your class.
This is so much more helpful to me than just reading the CompTIA textbook because it sounds so complicated. Your way of teaching is very personable and keeps me engaged, happy to have found your channel. Thank you!
Everyone learns differently. Some learn by reading, some by listening, others by doing and so on :) I'm glad this helps you out
Yes, please do drawings or add pictures or objects. Some of us remember lectures clearly thru visuals. Thank you for the videos.
Alrighty will do :) thanks for the feedback!
@@BurningIceTech As a visual learner I learn better with drawings, and pictures.
Perfect idea.
"No cooking clue" this was so funny for a lecture segway i enjoyed it
10/10 Course! You will be the sole reason as to why I pass my CompTIA Exams.
Thanks for the compliment. Best of luck with your exams!
@@BurningIceTech You will be the primary reason I pass also! It's the humor and the accent keeping me extra engaged😭😭😭
@@justme-iz7ec exactly !
Either I have been in a very low state or I had not found thr right course materials to understand. Since following your channel I have learnt tremendous amounts of information . Your way of explaining is just pure. I so much love your style of teaching. I could close my eyes and hear your voice and recite with example what you just explain led. What an absolute legend 🙌 you are. I will be buying another milkshake come pay day ❤❤
I wish i had you as a teacher from time i started school till my final year in university. You are great at what you do
You're a great teacher. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us for FREE!
Indeed. I see you have a channel i will check it out. Frkm cmr too. How to link up?
every time you explain a concept by comparing it to something we do normally, it clarifies so much. I used to dislike IT stuff because I could never get it down, but now everything is starting to make sense. THANK YOU
Glad its working :P
Sometimes I feel like I'm just talking nonsense but in the end it's to explain a topic better haha
That drawing at the end was superb, it made it easy for me to understand a VPN in a nutshell. Keep up the good work.
I love the drawings and visual images ✍🏾
Thanks. I rly hope I can pass the A+ exam and find a decent job so I can support my kids the right way.
Thank you for these. I’ve been struggling to find time to learn A+ in a way that makes sense. I bought the study materials and always felt like it was missing something. This is the missing link. Thank you a million times over for doing this.
Yes, making drawings in real life makes it easy to understand the concept of the Training.
Hey - I have really enjoyed learning from this course. You are a great teacher and I hope to come back soon to let you know that I have gotten certified thanks to you
The Drawing really gives me a lot of inspiration on the subject of topic, thank you ❤
For a second i thought he said the test had about "about Nineteen Hundred questions" and my jaw dropped for a moment lol Thank you for doing these and helping me prepare for the test.
Thanks boet. As a fellow South African (well if you are) just want to say I am grateful for this content. Keep up the awesomeness.
Visuals help a lot. So yah, keep the visuals. Appreciate it a lot.
The illustration is everything and makes the whole concept of what you're explaining easier to understand. Thanks
I did like the drawing. I like the DNS explanation as well. Usually its a post office, this was different and worked as well.
Glad it works haha. I was kinda winging it at one point but as long as it makes sense in the end of the day then I'm happy and I suppose it's mission accomplished
Yes, the drawings help and really help in making us understand the topics.
Thanks for all your hard work and dedication. Im on day 6, looking forward to gaining the confidence to ace these tests!
Comptia: hmm, we don’t have any questions covering exclusions.
Also Comptia: printer question.
Drawings absolutely help! Thank you, awesome tutorials!
I love the way you make this lesson very easy
Drawings are very helpful. Once again, amazing video. You explain so well.
You sir are a GREAT teacher. One i wish i had for all my years of studies. The meyers books are so dry and leave me zoning out. Watching these modules breathe life into the concepts and provide a sense excitement. Thank you for all that you do.
Thanks for the compliment ;) appreciate
love this style of training
yeah ! need some more drawing for explation for other topics thanks for your explanation.
thank you so much. just amazing and love the drawing.
I am currently taking a bootcamp class for this certification and you reallly helped me understand especially since i know nothing about IT! Thank you, i really appreciate these videos!!!!
I appreciate the videos. The on the fly diagramming was cool. Thanks for the advice about hiding MAC Addresses. I was not aware of that.
Thank you so much for the videos.
Thank you 👌🏻 appreciate all the help.
I am working through the compTIA certmaster as well but your explanations help a lot.
Thank you for your videos. its helping a lot with my studies. Really easy to follow along.
The drawing makes it easier keep it, thanks so much
Thank you for this. It was so helpful.
The drawijgs make things easier to follow. Thanks again for this wonderful contents. I think you are a naturally born teacher. Cant believe how easy you make these networking concepts. ❤❤❤❤
I like the drawings, very rememberable, thank you for your work.
thank you for these videos very informative
Great job... Worth buying you a milkshake.. God Bless
Got it thank you! :) Will for me and my kids today after work
Yes, the drawings HELP!
Yes, drawing is awesome! Thanks!
Thank you, so much for these lectures/Videos!!
I want to transition into an IT career, starting with a help desk job and then, hopefully, maneuver my way into soc of some sort.
29 with no degree. I am In an area with a huge demand for any IT role, including IT help desk with no degrees. They require this a+ cert & ccna. The entry level IT help desk roles pay more than I currently make, whats there to lose? lol ..
Going to start with the A+ cert + ccna cert, before I start applying.
I have a Warehouse backround, but I hate it. High turnover, toxic people, physically demanding, small company that is slowing going out of business/losing all their customers.
These videos/lectures give me the confidence to actually pursue IT as a career! As I watch these lectures/videos, I am realizing I know about 90% of this whole course, with just my previous experience from my hobbies (gaming/ building and fixing pcs, laptops & other devices, diagnosing pcs ect. and modding Skyrim....😂)
Thank you, again!!!
It's surprising sometimes how much of this stuff some people actually already know at times....they just don't know that they know it haha
Sometimes you just need to remind people a bit. Maybe here and there just refresh a bit on some topics.
I hope you manage to get out of the toxic environment your in. If they pay that well for the entry level positions the new place then sure, why not!
I'm in this training now. Much appreciated.
Me too😊
Amazing video! I'm looking forward to pass the exam and reward. :) Also, the drawing helps a lot!
Thank you professor
Great videos.
Yes, your drawing helped immensely! thanks!
Made a huge difference, I appreciate the videos!
Wonderful explanation. Your drawing was very well done. It helped me to understand it a lot and you should do so more. I wish I had found your videos when I was taking my 1102. Many thanks. It gave me more confidence to go and take my exam.
Your amazing thank you for your hard work
Great video! Thank you!
actually, even without that VPN drawing stuff, you have made it very clear already
Your classes are amazing!
Gorgeous drawings, continue please
Noted! :)
Your videos are great. The drawings will help.
Could you do CompTIA security + course ? thanks for all the courses they great help so much
This is great as always thank you so much 1:08
Hi drawing was quite helpful
LOOOOOOOOVE THE DRAWING ❤❤❤❤❤
Makes me happy to know you guys like it :)
@@BurningIceTech :) just don’t overdo.❤️
Nice
My friend you've helped me tremendously. Thank You so much for taking the time to bring us these videos. Thank You. Will you be doing Cyber Security Videos also?
lmaooo, man you are so funny sometimes, thanks so much for this!!!! God bless.
Another thanks from my side bud
Man you're an hero did you know that 🤷
For videos you can also try like a laser pointer type of mouse to point to specific areas within pictures an example would be like in previous modules where you describe the mother boards components
Please draw, it help me a lot to understand the modules.
As always, thank you for the hard work. How many extra exam question videos do you have on your Patreon? Those were really helpful to me. I'm just curious..
Thanks
Ah thank you very much
You are most welcomed Sir ❤
Hell yeah
Graphics are always appreciated by me at least!
Yes please. The drawings please 🙏🏾
Going through the CompTia material right now and wanted to say thank you for these videos as they have helped deliver the information in a much more understandable way. Although, on this Module you didn't touch at all on the "internet connections" portion of the module. Things like IXP's, DSL, Modems, cable internet standards, Fiber cabling standards, WISP's, and cellular standards. Is there another video on these topics or was this portion recently added by CompTia?
👍
My subnet mask starts with 255.255, but my private IP is class A. Does anyone know why that could be?
Hi, the way I learned Dynamic adressing in my CCNA 1 class and the way I see in diagrams online is DORA (discover, offer, request, acknowlege). Would you say that is a good way to sum up the process?
How do I pause my Windows updates, rather indefinitely? I apologize you referenced this in a different video. I tried doing this and Windows is only allowing me to pause up until a pre-determined date.
❤
Drawing works great to help in understanding thanks BRA lol
Your video series is amazing, keep up the good work! I'm just curious, but is setting up a DHCP role on a server part of the exam? Like some kind of a practice question?
Nope, there is no such practice question in any of the two A+ exams so you don't have to worry about that.
They do however ask questions both directly and indirectly about DHCP but those are pretty straight forward.
Regarding DHCP you just need to know things like the following:
What is a scope/range
What is a lease
what is a reservation
what is an exclusion
what is APIPA
what APIPA looks like
how release a dynamic IP via CMD
how to ask for a new IP via CMD
@@BurningIceTech great, thanks for the fast and detailed response :D
Actually never understood vpn till that drawing
please do drawings and pictures, it helps it all click for me
why would you want to exclude an IP address?
im curious, there are some sections from the comptia module you didnt touch on. For example DNS queries. Is it because its not relevant on the test??
Yip indeed
hello can u make a course on windows server 2019 ,domain server as well
please
There is already some on my channel :) go check on the channel, look for the "Microsoft WS-011" or the Microsoft AZ-800" playlist. Both of those should cover what you're looking for
Is it just me or this doesn’t match up with the current module? The actual course dives into cable types and 3g 4g 5g etc. in the first lesson, never mentioned here??
Not that this relate to the course (IMO better than Professor Messer) but for the sake of my attention span. Can you clarify if you are indian or south african or an indian from south africa? Or am I just entirely wrong?
He is from South Africa that I know but he sounds Afrikaaner, South African Indians don't speak like this.
where is the accent from mate?
South Africa
