    Hats off to you buddy! The most exciting part is the journey itself, especially the part of figuring out the study or note-taking method! I've been through that and I know how it feels like. Buddy it doesn't really matter how long it took you to study for the network + the important thing is that you passed and again Congratulations!

    i just took my network+ and passed with a 756 (first time) -- thank you for this video, it helped shape how i approached the test. i used jason dion as my primary mode of studying but did accompany it with mike meyers book with practice exams. the actual exam felt harder for me and the PBQ's (nothing in the practice exams w jason dion and mike meyers could compare). but for sure jason dion is a must

    Got my exam scheduled for later today! My study plan was very similar to yours. I took the A+ 1001/1002 earlier this year and used a similar plan to pass the first attempt. Hoping to knock this out and move onto Sec+.

    I keep procrastinating. I'm also using many different resources, but I'm finding that i'm just memorizing the practice test answers rather than actually knowing the content. Jason Dion's of course. Congrats on your victory!

    It's okay that you have overkill methods to pass the exam to increase your odds of passing, especially if you pass the 1st time. Tests shouldn't (just) be about memorization skills anyway. It should include to be about understanding the concepts and practical knowledge. Congrats on passing!
    You still completed it in a relatively quick amount of time. So your time was invested wisely. Especially if you did 49 hours a week or 7 hours daily - that's impressive!

    • @ZeroDegreeTech
      @ZeroDegreeTech  Před rokem

      That’s how I like to think of it too. I would rather understand it well than get the cert and still feel fuzzy on topics. It’s especially important because networking is basically going to be my base on which I build more specialized knowledge on.

    Hey dude! I’m in the same boat you were in. My Network+ is coming up in about 2 weeks, and I’m going in with NO PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OR EXPERIENCE. I’ve made it thru all of Messer’s videos, and wrote out all the material in question/answer form to study. It’s working, but very time consuming. I have about 35 of the 92 sections down. Anyway, I’m also working on the common ports/tcp or udp crap, Ethernet standards, etc. Memorizing all that. How much subnet mask/Binary stuff was on yours? I’m saving all that for last.
    And, do they allow you time before the test starts to write out your conversion charts from memory? Or do you have to use your 90 min test time to do so? Thanks again for the video buddy

      @@ZeroDegreeTech hey man, it’s this Friday! Question, for the subnetting/finding network and broadcast addresses- any method will do right right? Magic #, 7 second, it doesn’t matter as long as I get the answers right? They won’t say “Using Magic # only, find blah blah”? Also, do they give you time to write your charts from memory or do you have to do it DURING the exam time? Thanks for responding duuuuuuuude!!

      They represent a small part of the exam and test on the same material as the multiple choice, it won’t make you learn commands or anything either so as long as you know the exam objects you should be ok
