I really do think the jaded, narrative-questing, jock-sniffing mopes who are the NFL commentariat break the brains of the typical NFL fan. Perfect case in point: swap the place kickers in this game and Buffalo is in the AFC championship and the Chiefs are going home for the season. But literally none of these jaded jock-sniffing novelty-take-chasing mopes have said this, so literally none of the dimwitted NFL fanbase is saying it. When it's obvious.

That feeling when Wright pulls up a totally meaningless stat graf (Mahomes in postseason vs. NFL popularity contest winners (popularity among jaded professional jock-sniffers, mind you; a popularity contest among not just journalists (garbage human beings) but SPORTS journalists (the garbage among the garbage). MVP winner walks into Starbucks: "hey, I'm MVP and I want a cup of coffee." Barista: "k that plus $3 will get you what you want."

@@Thebogeybrohe's just saying it's ironic to complain about drops when Mahomes' receivers had nearly 50 drops during the regular season. The pass to Shefield wasn't even a drop mecole had 2 passes in the dolphins games that were more catchable but he didn't even attempt to catch the ball.

I’m sick of the media excuses for Josh Allen. He choked at the end. Got bailed out of a pick-6, muffed fumble-6, missed a wide open TD, and missed wide open first down ALL ON THE FINAL DRIVE. Played great for the 90% of the game, then choked.

6 incompletions and I'm pretty sure two or three of those were throw aways. The Bills' LB Corps and secondary are indeed banged up, their DL was not. Those guys got erased last night.

The way the Bills ran the ball and marched downfield AT WILL against the Chiefs early led me to believe they would win. Chiefs moved at will too though. Both defenses were just terrible early, which makes the fact that they tightened up late just amazing.

Pacheco makes the Chiefs dangerous. As a chiefs fan I don’t want to think where we would be without him. Mahomes is fantastic, hall of famer already but Pacheco is extremely important to the success of the offense. Also helps that there weren’t a ton of dropped passes. Chiefs in the post season just turn it on. I’ve always liked Buffalo, this incarnation included so I had a degree of sympathy for the players but after that idiot bills mafia fan base started pelting them with snowballs I couldn’t help but want to taste those sweet sweet bills mafia tears. They did it last week to the Steelers to. What a trash fan base.

Allen threw 39 passes for under 200 yards. That is not a good game.
He had 80 yards rushing and 2 rush TDs. That's more total yards and more TDs than mahomes, so I don't understand you're argument.
Very inefficient when they needed more conversions on key downs down the stretch. Their rushing stats were heavily skewed early in the game. Once the Chiefs figured out the scheme to create havoc on obvious rushing downs, their LB's were able to take advantage and force Cook to think about where he was rushing instead of going to the spot by instinct.

Best game I have seen the Chiefs play in awhile. Very impressed with MVS....have been rooting for him to have a breakout game and he really snagged the ball out of the air all night! Chiefs really made the big plays down the field look easy. Rooting for Mecole to have a break out game next and have a huge impact.. Chiefs Defense was bend don't break and look hard to beat.....Go Chiefs

I have to admit this: the KC Chiefs are a good organization. They don’t always win but they have been strong, repeatedly, and in the toughest spots they rise to the challenge.

* In two games against the Chiefs this season, Diggs had 7 catches for 45 yards on 19 targets
* In a game where Buffalo clearly based their offense on running the ball, out of 182 rushing yards, 124 came in the 1st half, 58 in the 2nd half - the strategy started falling apart in the 2nd half
Once they realized they couldn't stop KC at all, it became a case of managing the Chiefs' opportunities to score. Even the Bills' lone TD drive in the 2nd half was a slog to get it. They burned up almost 15 minutes on two drives in the 2nd half and got 7 points out of it.
Not to mention Buffalo had 78 plays while chiefs had 38 plays. Almost double the plays, and Buffalo couldn't out score the chiefs
@@kylekatarn5964Teams have been purposely trying to limit the Chiefs / Mahomes opportunities for a couple years already. It's why the offense looks and works the way it does right now, they adjusted and just keep on chugging.
@dillchives Yessir, two high shell Defense has been a staple for other teams against KC.
He's morphed into an efficient passer who can still threaten down the field when necessary. I'm a fan and what Mahomes did last season was one of the greatest QB seasons in league history.

If you are good at paying attention to detail, then you would have noticed the Bills offense take an early timeout and got delay of game penalty in the same drive, early in the second half. This was a sign that their offense was having major issues. Josh Allen was very indecisive, which goes right along with the reason they took that early timeout and then delay of game.
Well, the Chiefs receivers showed up and made big plays. So that helps big. Kelce was huge and Pacheco finished it. But the biggest credit goes to the defense for tightening up towards the end.

I can also guarantee that if Josh hit a wide open Diggs to the left cutting the field goal length from 44yds to 34yds and a fresh set of downs vs the short endzone pass, Bass would have had a much, much better shot. If you still place emotions towards the team above realism, you're destined for continued heartbreak and obviously haven't learned your lesson yet. If you want to cast blame towards anyone, cast it towards the defense that gave up 27 points in less than 23 minutes of play. Teams with as much Time of Possession as the Bills were 54-6.

It wasn't as close as the scoreboard. Bills scored on the drive they threw it forward *past* the line of scrimmage on a long 3rd down. Mecole fumbled out of the endzone. Bills lucked out with Josh Allen's fumble and the fumble they got flagged for illegal batting on.
The game had like 6 lead changes. It absolutely was a close game lmao. It could have been a blowout with the way the Chiefs offense was rolling but Buffalo had those long drives.
