The problem is that alot of people think the media bias is deliberate and things are "rigged", when the truth is much more benign.. it's just human nature. The Chiefs had the bias because Mahomes was the shiny NFL darling, but now he's won a little too much to be truly universally likeable, so the bias is ready to shift at any opportunity. This season the Bills just happen to "fit the bill" as the team that will knock KC off the perch, so they get the positive spin. Also Josh Allen now fits much better into the media darling role, because he keeps playing well but still losing, so we can all feel sorry for him. Makes a much better story that "Mahomes wins again".

The 13 second/OT game was what made this rivalry legendary, but this game was the one that put it to bed. Such a back breaking loss for Buffalo. You could make arguments for the Bills leading into this game, such as: * Buffalo having owned Kansas City in the regular season in the Mahomes/Allen era. * The first playoff game in the 2020 season was for the AFC title, pretty impressive in itself * The second playoff game against the Chiefs in the 2021 season was arguably the greatest game ever, where the Bills lost because they never got a chance with the ball in OT. All things to hang their hat on, and not be terribly disappointed with, but this was different. This time they were at home, they were favored, their offense was firing on all cylinders, the Chiefs were in a down-year, annnnd it still wasn't enough.. This was the time, this was the time for Buffalo to get the monkey off their back, and finally get one over on their older sibling when it mattered most, and they didn't get it done.. Kansas City even did all they could to give Buffalo a chance to win. Everyone talks about how efficient the Chiefs offense was, but to me it still left much to be desired. Mecole Hardman's endzone fumble, and Safety Chamarri Conner being greedy, and trying to return a Buffalo fumble rather than just fall on the ball, and secure it kept the Bills in this game FAR longer than they should have been. And Buffalo still couldn't capitalize..

I aagree that we are witnessing something special and I just saw a clip this week describing how Bret Veach noticed Mahomes in his first year as a starter at Texas Tech and he told Andy Reid, we need to get this guy, he's special. And he apparently had meetups with Mahomes telling him about the organization and how he would be a perfect fit. SO the Chiefs gave up a boatload of pics to move up to the 10th spot in the 2017 draft and they are now performing on a different level and may continue doing so for years to come. Time will tell.

I love Rich Eisens “I was wrong about the chiefs segments” because not only do I love rich, not only do I love the chiefs but I love him for being the only pundit honest enough to give an actual admission or being wrong about them. None of the others do they pretend they didn’t declare the chiefs would fail without Tyreek. They pretend they didn’t say the chiefs couldn’t repeat. Rich admits he’s wrong

Dropped passes, missed FG and dubious calls by the coaching staff prevented Rich from being right on his Bills' pick over KC. " Wide right" could become a favorite phrase in KC for weeks to come.

1 dropped pass that was under thrown .. a miss fg that the fg kicker been missing form the same spot all year and the wind was blowing hard .. and yall same coach …

KC would’ve gotten the ball back with over a minute and a half even if they made the FG. Mahomes most likely drives the field and wins still

Rich may have picked Buffalo to win but that was a good game the whole way through. It's not like he guessed the Texans to wallop the Ravens.

Mabomes is 3-1 against Lamar Jackson

So? Allen is 3 - 1 against Mahomes in regular season but 0 - 3 when it counts.
      That record means nothing 😂😂
Also, this is the best Ravens team ever built from top to bottom. It's not gonna be easy for either team but Mahomes beating Lamar 3 years ago has nothing to do with it 😂

    • @NormEvansChallenges
      @NormEvansChallenges Před 3 měsíci

Allen and Mahomes are NOT the same.
Anyone paying attention would have known that Mahomes is now 39-11 on the road in his career

Your going back over a 6 period. Let's talk about recent history. The Ravens beat half the teams playing this weekend by 14 points or more. They obliterated the Lions and 49ers..... you think just because Mahomes was good against Lamar, 3 years ago he's guaranteed a W. I dont think so. The Ravens haven't just been beating good teams all year, they have been killing them.

They did the same is 2019 (14-2 and 1 seed ironically) (Lamar also won MVP). And chiefs beat them in Baltimore that year too. Mahomes isn't any of these other QBs.

Please keep up the great work; we common, everyday football lovers need a retional analyst among the crazy "look at and listen to me player and non-player" experts.
Thanks again and keep up the excellent work!

Win or lose. I’m so prod of my chiefs. From watching them be 2-14 during 2012. To being 1 of the most talk teams. I’m so happy.
I look forward to the game against ravens. Idc the outcome just glad we made it this far
