Dude said Burrow went on a Linsanity run as if Burrow didn’t lead the Bengals right back to the AFC title game the following year after starting that year 0-2. C’mon now.
Now, I’m a die-hard Bengals fan, and at this moment in time I do think that Lamar Jackson is the 2nd best QB in the NFL. I’m impress with Lamar’s overall talent and greatness. But just as there are questions about Burrow’s durability (which is fine), there are questions about Jackson’s clutchness in a game’s critical moments (which is fine, too).
And until one of them wins a Super Bowl first, what’s gonna keep this whole Burrow/Jackson debate going throughout their careers is just that: Durability vs. Killer Instinct.
So may the best QB win.

Lamar’s OC’s fail him, not the clutch moments. Consistently the best regular season rushing offense in the league and then playoffs start and the whole script changes. You can’t have your RB1 and RB2 have single digit carries combined - you’re asking to fail. Also Lamar didn’t make Flowers fumble on the goal line. Just like everything in sports there’s *** on it, but anyone watching the games cannot blame Lamar’s ability in big games. He gets straight let down by the game plan.
Mahomes got the SB this year because after getting clapped by the Raider’s D they figured out to game conservatively. That’s good coaching. Ravens honestly have some pretty poor coaching in big games as of late.

@@benjaminschmitt3225 - All-time great quarterbacks’ legacies are made in the playoffs by overcoming setbacks and hard challenges. Lamar had more total yards against Kansas City in a loss than he did against Houston in a win, but because Baltimore stream-rolled Houston on the ground by rushing for nearly 250 yards nobody noticed. Baltimore knew they couldn’t apply that offensive philosophy against Kansas City. Mahomes and Reid are too smart and talented for that, so they HAD to change their game plan for the AFC title game. And turnovers will happen. Yeah, Lamar didn’t make Flowers fumble on the goal line (which, by the way, Flowers was trying to score when that happened), but Flowers didn’t Lamar fumble in the 2nd quarter or make Lamar throw one of the most boneheaded INT in NFL playoff history either. Saying Lamar has a winning record over Allen is just wrong. 1) Winning is not a quarterback stat, there are another 52 players on the roster as well as coaches who all need to perform to win. QB is the most important player but isn't solely responsible for all wins or losses. 2) Lamar doesn't even have a winning record against Allen. The Bills and Ravens are 2-2 since they were drafted, but Allen and Lamar didn't start the first game. Since then the Bills are 2-1 and have a playoff win over the Ravens.
By every metric except INTs Allen is a much better passer than Lamar, and is overall more valuable for his offense. Allen has 4 straight seasons with over 4000 yards and 40 total TDs. Lamar has gone over 4000 total yards twice, never gone over 3700 yards passing, and had only 1 season with 40 total TDs.
If you are a QB wins and playoff wins guy, you should prefer Allen. If you are a stats guy, you should prefer Allen. Lamar's MVPs are impressive. He deserved the first, but last season would have been considered Allen's 3rd worst. Idk how Lamar actually won it.

Does that make Dilfer a better QB than Marino? Jackson won MVP because the Ravens finished first in the AFC, not because he produced more than Allen. And the INT criticism is horseshit, when you have double the production, and when you have less help, you will have more turnovers. A good gauge to determine individual ability is to look at how each QB performed against the chiefs in consecutive weeks in last years playoffs, Allen played like superman and Jackson played like Lois Lane against the same exact defense. Jacson put up good numbers and he's a great QB too, but he was helped by a better supporting cast and was asked to do less. When you are asked to do less, you have less ints but you also have less yardage and tds. This is my problem with guys like this, if you have to lie (which he did when he said Lamar has a winning record against Allen, which he doesn't, plus the .500 record they share deserves context. Such as Allen has beaten Lamar twice in a row, and in 1st 2 games in which Allen lost, the Bills were a bad team, yet Lamar team was jacked) to make your point, then your point probably isn't actually valid. If this guy wanted to argue about Lame over Stroud, that's cool. But Lamar isn't a better QUARTERBACK than Burrow or Allen, he just isn't. Lamar has NEVER even come close to having a 4,000 yard season, and had a single season of throwing for 30 or more TDs. All the other guys, except Stroud, have multiple. Oh and Lamar is a playoff choke artist. Lamar has been horrible in the playoffs, while every other QB, including Stroud has played very well in the playoffs. Lamar is a good QB, honestly 6 sounds about right. This guy doesn't actually have the argument he thinks he does. The argument around Lamar is absolutely stupid, it's either people ranking him to low or way too high. And both arguments are garbage. The truth is that Lamar isn't as good of a passer as Burrow or Allen or Mahomes or even what Stroud was as a rookie. But at the same point he is better then most QBs. But for this guy to be upset for people properly ranking a guy just shows that people suck.

Well depends on what metric we are using.
    Numbers it’s Josh Allen
    Success its Joe Burrow
    Accolades it’s Lamar Jackson
So depending on what metric you want to use it has to be one of these three guys no one else.
Maybe we can throw Matthew Stafford in there because he literally just won a Super Bowl a couple years ago against Joe Burrow so he definitely fits the success argument.

Why do people keep saying, QB "A" has a winning record against QB "B"?
These guys aren't fighting in a cage. Sometimes a QB can do everything right, but the rest of the team under performs.
