The MOST Useful Piece of Sugar Shack Equipment

If you are looking to make your own maple syrup, this is the one piece of equipment that you must get. Well, it might not make the top 5 most useful items, but dad has found it to be useful to store and move wood around when firing the stove. He loads it from either the pile inside or from a load just outside the shack, then he can maneuver it near the stove so the door doesn't stay open longer than necessary. It holds more than enough wood for a couple firings. I suppose he could also use it as a foot rest during the rare moment he sits down.
Give him a thumbs up for his very favorite thing in the sugar shack. I don't think even a coat of paint will help it, but to each their own!

Maple syrup used to have a smoky flavor. The stuff now is nowhere near as good as it used to be.
