True story: I'm in the break room at work making coffee and start singing "Bruce Rivers, he's the criminal lawyer (and what he do?).. my boss walks in and I'm embarrassed. She looks at me and sings " and he's going to react to all the self snitching". So I got some brownie points.
Love that
😂😂😂😂😂 that's hilarious!!!!
THAT'S AWESOME!!!!! LOVE IT 😀!!!!
🤣🤣🤣👍👏🙌
That's funny & great! Bruce & his son were genii in choosing that song, and the performer is a master lyricist. It is masterful. I catch myself singing it often, too! HA HA!
This moved at breakneck speed. And, the fact they got everyone not to leak anything was another amazing feat. Honestly, a fantastic job all around.
People are leaking shit all over
Agreed! And to think there were so many complaints about the case going cold, nothing being done, etc. Investigators did a phenomenal job.
Yet the comments sections on all the videos about this case were delusional cretins who were complaining that the police weren't doing anything and of course, that it was a conspiracy. I hope those pathetic people are suitably chastened.
I went to WSU and lived in a house exactly like 1122 King Road. I fully believe the surviving roommates had no idea what happened until the next day and were not involved in the murders of their friends. We all had nights where we heard noises from our roommates rooms (usually sex or fighting) and there was always some weird drunk who passed out on a couch or someone’s bed and then left in the middle of the night or morning. Ski masks are super common, too, it gets below zero all winter in Pullman/Moscow. And we weren’t hard partying types, just social with a few big parties per year. It breaks my heart for a whole generation of students to lose that feeling of innocent fun college years and Ethan, Xana, Madison and Kaylee to lose their entire lives.
I graduated from WSU too! Freaking terrifying. I visited Moscow countless times for dates, hang outs, school stuff, and parties. Even took the LSAT at Idaho State. Those kids deserved so much better.
This crime just creeps me out, one of the poor kids saying " someone is here" and the crying that was heard which means at least one of them new what was coming, its so distressing, God bless them all.
I literally couldn't sleep one night after watching videos about this case.
Seems like God already blessed them. He wanted them in Heaven.
Have you considered that those "angels" were involved in drug dealing FOR a long time ??❤
@@marcosmarin8930 does that mean they should be brutally murdered in their sleep? Weirdo.
We don't know for sure that anyone heard crying.
And you all need to stop criminalizing the victims.
Tf they were dealing drugs 🙄?
Gossipmongers.
I love this dude. He strikes me as honest, well informed, and relatable. He seems very candid and like he has a sense of humor with his intro/outro music and montage. He’s a hard guy to dislike and he creates good content that’s relevant, entertaining, and informative. I’m so glad I stumbled on his account and JCS through him.
I agree! Would love to watch him kick ass in court!!!
Lol nah this dude looks like the real life sal goodman 🤣
His intro is fire as hell tho 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Thank you for supporting the surviving witness. She lived in a party house. Strange noises and people are probably pretty typical there. People are not being kind to her on the internet and no doubt she is in so much pain 🖤

I asked a question. I didn't make an assertion Karen. lmao
When LE has a phone number they can have the carrier “ping” it which will tell which tower, and which antenna on that tower, often they have a NE, N, NW, W, W, SW and so on antennas. More importantly on modern phones they’ll get the current GPS coordinates of the phone AND a rough elevation above sea level.
Basically, they got you.
(Former 9-1-1 dispatcher here)
You do know they also said the radius is 20 miles for that ding your so proud of!? He can be 20 miles away and Ping it lol.. don’t mean shit
And other apps on your phone can track you too
Actual the cell phones can find you within a meter with the GPS in most of them
They need a warrant to do that though, right?
@@zynthos9 yes of course they do in the US unless it’s for the preservation of life (like to find someone in distress)
Thanks for covering this Bruce and for your support and words of kindness to the survivor. This person needs our love and support right now, thanks for being a classy, stand-up guy. Cheers from Canada!
Small crazy correction, 9:30 am next morning he returns to the scene of the crime but there are no police everywhere because the crime wasn't reported til after noon!
Good eye. I noticed that too.
Yes, I noticed that too.
the down to earth approach of this lawyer, his humanity, his simplicitly his skills make these videos endearing and addictive
Thanks for covering this, Bruce. Your compassion for the victims is always so genuine. I would love to see your reaction to the interviews that Brian’s extradition lawyer in Pennsylvania has been giving. They seem wildly inappropriate, and I’d be really interested in your perspective!
Yes ! He is clout chasing and needs to shut up !

bruce is a clout chaser?
@ Jason Voorhees : No, not Atty. Rivers. The comment implied that the lawyer of Kohberger is clout chasing
So I randomly stumbled upon this channel. I come from a family of Attorneys, Judges and Detectives. My uncle, who is a very well respected attorney in our area, with an AV Preeminent rating, was just diagnosed with Alzheimer's and had to retire which was extremely hard to deal with. This makes me think of him.
Finding this channel made my day, I love it! Definitely will be binge watching 😆♥️
Bruce Rivers is THE BEST. His son Michael does the videos and promotion. Great father/son team!
Someone needs to make a compilation of these esign plugs. Either that or one long narrative that ties the stories together
Some channel owners are very serious with their sponsorships but there's Bruce and some of my other favorite channels that make even their sponsorships entertaining. I appreciate it, too.

Just a minor correction… Kohberger was back around the scene at 9:30am after the murder but BEFORE police is called which the call came in at 11:58am
Hi Bruce, thank you for your great, extensive work and analyses. I love your gentlemanly demeanor. Also applaud your work for people enduring really hard times negotiating the criminal justice system and appreciate your reconstruction of such sadly traumatic, major, senseless criminal events as this for us.

He’s calling black victims and witnesses snitches and white survivors and witnesses victims. Why is it ok to praise black killers and say stop snitching on them but when there’s a white murder he doesn’t praise the killer and call the witnesses snitches???
I love how down to earth this guy is! Always keeps me coming back for more 😁

There is a video of him in a sports bar dressed in a sport jersey drinking beers and having fun.
That’s what’s up Bruce! Thank you for covering a case that hits close to home. Was waiting for your balanced legal perspective on this horrific crime
He got it wrong about Kohberg seeing the police at 9:30 that morning and about mental defense. Idaho has no mental defense and police didn't show up until after noon that day. Bad coverage. He did not do even basic research before making this youtube.
@@yepthatsmama1 So he got the time wrong and didn’t see if Idaho has an insanity plea, they haven’t since 1982. He has better info and clear about the situation. He’s a hell of a lot better than the Law&Crime YT channel. They are absolutely terrible. They talk like they think they are lawyers and everything they say is absolute bull💩. They don’t do much if any research. The ‘experts’ they have on are just as bad. They do too much surmising and guessing. They absolutely suck. They actually remind me of that Entertainment channel that talked smack about celebrities. Kind of like live as opposed to reading the examiner Us Weakly or National Inquire.
BTW - the suspect’s name is Kohberger, not Koberg. See, not every one tries to come off as perfect. Also, I’m in that area so I know when these YT channels are just getting clicks and spewing cr💩
What happened to his wedding ring?
@@janeward722 maybe he just forgot to put it on. maybe he's getting divorced. maybe he's a widower who finally was emotionally able to take it off. Who cares-unless you plan on hitting him up...
IIf it's true Dylan was dealing drugs out of the house, and if it's true Kaylee got in a fight with Dylan about it, that would explain a lot. Maybe Bryan bought drugs from her and she told him about the fight. It explains why Dylan was spared. Maybe that's why it took so long to call police because Dylan had to get rid of her supply. Maybe that's why she called friends, not the police. And why he asked if anyone else had been arrested. He played hero to Dylan.
Sounds like DMs failure to report the murder may have worked in the cops favor. He was probably wondering why the media wasn't immediately covering the murders, hopped in his car, went back to the scene of the crime to see what was happening. That helped establish yet another clue that he was in the area.
DM didn’t fail to report the murder. She didn’t KNOW yet. Full context matters of individual experiences.
You r smart 💯
sometimes people rush to conclusions without enough information. We heard that DM saw a guy who could fit Bryan description, for a masked man, bushy eyebrows, but from here there are so many things that could be, she could have been drunk, not know who that person was considering that many people walked in that house at times and since she did not know a murder was committed she had not enough reason, in her state of mind at the time, to call 911 perhaps///////////////////////
I agree with @L. Baughman, DM didn't fail to report anything, she didn't know at that time & I think she stayed in shock. Remember, the call to 911 was for an unresponsive roommate, I think it was a call for her & then everything unfolded.
@@knowldedge5012 My personal theory is she was in shock and also terrified. She was probably curled up in a ball, staring at her door for hours, waiting for him to come in. This will probably haunt her for the rest of her life.
For the victims, the survivors and the family...🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 Many prayers to you all. I'm so sorry for their loss. It breaks my 💔💔💔.
Thanks for bringing this incident to God’s attention. He would have never known about it if you hadn’t prayed. 😂
Thanks Bruce. Appreciate you sharing your knowledge and perspective. Agree re the survivor DM: she needs compassion right now rather than judgement.
The footprint part of the evidence reminds me of the Russell Williams case in Canada. The mention of the pattern of both that his tyre treads was enough to get him to confess during interrogation.

As a Missourian- it’s so weird for me to see something this close being covered so heavily.
As the parent of a college student (female) this is terrifying and heartbreaking. Can't imagine what these parents are going through. I will say, in that traffic stop, he not only looked guilty, but he definitely looked like a complete psycho.

Just seen a story on Idaho and the insanity plea. I think they said it hasn't existed there since late 80s... so that's a bonus too
Moral of the story. Don’t kill people
Fyi, the murders didn’t get reported until close to noon the next day, he went to the house before the murders were reported (prob trying to see what’s going on) which makes it even worse.
Not the next day, the same day surely?
@@jacqui7672 it was like 4-5 hours after the murders. My guess is that he was a bit concerned about the left behind sheath….😮
Thanks for covering this Bruce!
What do you think about the roommates not calling the police until nearly noon and that it was after they called friends. It was also weird that it was originally reported as someone being unconcious?
It ended up being the paramedics that found the students who had been murdered.
My heart goes out to those young Souls!
May they find Peace in Rest!
Such beautiful and innocent souls.
Peace and Love be with the families on this journey.
I have visual snow syndrome and it's literally just seeing grain/static in your field of vision 24/7. It also involves seeing floaters and light a bit weirdly, but doesn't interfere with much besides sometimes messing with night vision (for me it doesn't cause issues, it can just be so. annoying.). It's been linked to those with chronic migraine condition, and I suspect it overlaps with adhd and possibly ocd.
But yeah, for anyone wondering, that's all that is.
its like glitter. Well mine is. Be well migraine is a b*ch xx
I think Visual Snow can be linked with left temporal lobe seizures as well. Also, just an interesting piece of Neural Network info…these particular types of seizures have produced psychotic violence in patients with this rare condition. These types of seizures are very precise and rare in the population. However, they do produce the described feelings of this suspect. Literally, the depersonalization feeling and being unattached to oneself, the field of snow vision, the feeling of not feeling, and fleeting violence. There are many more symptoms but I’ll let it rest there. Interesting though. He might have an underlying neurological disorder.
@@vettelover695 very interesting, thank you for the additional information
@@blackwidor that's an interesting way to describe it, I like it- and you as well, it truly is
Well it disturbs me how much I have in common with this guy I'm really glad that visual snow is now taking a mainstage because for half my life doctors told me that nothing was wrong and they didn't believe me when I was telling them how bad my vision was so I'm really really really glad that at least visual snow is now like household name but now people are going to be like oh you can't see right you must be a murderer LOLOLOL like no dawg... but it does drive me to smoke a lot of weed LOL

Your right, he should have left it on but not taken it with him. He screwed up by turning it off. Nothing illegal turning off your phone but it fits into all the other evidence.

@giannirottman suck it!
Bro this guy is so funny, his way of flaming people is absolutely unmatched
I appreciate your analysis. So many seem to think you can just willy-nilly plea insanity and be good to go
Idaho does not have an insanity defense. This lawyer didn't do his homework before making this vid. He assumed, since every other state but Idaho has an insanity defense. And you know what assume means. I work as a legal assistant, and accuracy of facts is everything.
As if going to an institution for life is better than a prison!! Those places are f’n terrifying!! And your roomies are complete nutters (I say this with dark humor as I have mental illness myself) so he can’t even have relationships or talk to other ppl, and the abuse that happens there is beyond evil. It doesn’t matter tho- someone who’s capable of getting an masters degree isn’t insane ENOUGH to get off on that technicality. He’s a sociopath, but not insane.
@Kate Ashby Idaho does not have an insanity defense. I believe it is the only state that does not have it. Bryan picked the wrong damn state to do this deed. Now, he will be locked away for life to stew in all his mental issues he thinks he has. Or die with them since Idaho has the death penalty. This lawyer gave two incorrect "facts" because he didn't do his homework. There were no police at the house at 9:30 am.
BK's previous lawyer, who assised with his deportation to Idaho, gave multiple interviews, where he stated BK is a very clever and intelligent guy, who precisely understands the legal process ect... This makes the insanity defense much more difficult...
@Mariam Pogosova idaho has no insanity defense. No insanity defense afforded to defendants per the law. No idaho provision for insanity defense. Don't know any other way to say this. This lawyer did a disservice with this youtube. He shouldn't have implied it could even be an option. Kohberger fucked up killing in Idaho. They don't play. Can't fake insanity plea. No state law for it.
Guess ppl watch too many crime shows and not crime documentaries. This stuff takes time, but I understand their frustration was due to fear of being the next victim or justice for the victims. But would it not have been more productive to be supportive to the investigators, who are humans as well, than brining them down? Just sayin 🤷🏽♀️
So nice to see intelligent analysis, such a departure from the regular YT commentary on basically anything. I have a question, if someone has a defence lawyer and fires them just before the closing argument can the defendant then address the Jury having benefited from a professional defence to that point but looking to tell their story?
Thank you for going over this case!! I like your honesty!!
I worked for the federal court for 27 years. Your take on this is pure class, aside from the cussing 😂. The best attorney in our district didn't take on child pedophiles, including pornography cases. As well as premeditated murder cases. I had the utmost respect for her. These attorneys that say they could poke holes in everything are up for a huge surprise once discovery is released. However, it takes one justice warrior on the jury to set him free. It's a strange world.
A single holdout on the jury wouldn't set him free. It would make it a mistrial and lead to a second trial. He needs every single person on the jury to agree there's insufficient evidence to be acquitted.
Please please don’t say this guy could be let free
No one would be safe
@@gabrielleandrew542 he hasn’t even been found guilty yet

Bruce, I always enjoy your channel. Despite busting Kohberger earlier the same morning, the Moscow cops still let a deep cleaning crew into the redrum home. The team was there for about an hour before the work was halted. A few hours later, the defense and the judge order the crime scene to be preserved. Can the defense now claim that evidence was destroyed by the cleaners?

Hey Bruce! Would love to hear your thoughts on the Philadelphia lawyer Jason LeBar who briefly represented Bryan before he was extradited to Idaho. LeBar has been making multiple media appearances seemingly breaking lawyer-client privilege and potentially jeopardizing the case. I’m concerned what the consequences could be for his candor and would really love hearing your take.
Yes i saw that too. Talking about things they discussed and how they wrote up his statement with BK's input. Attorney client privilege 101 ? Guy seemed nice enough but seems like he should not discuss some of the things he did.
@@dewdew34 For a potential death penalty case with nation wide coverage, I can’t fathom a reason a defense attorney would say literally anything to anyone.
