    In yogic/Ayurvedic term any hormonal imbalance or any issues related to reproductive system is caused by imbalance on Apana prana vayu. Our body is made up on pancha prana. Apana prana vayu governs the area of pelvic floor. Imbalance in this region can also cause issues with Samana Prana vayu which governs the abdominal region, which can lead to digestive disorders, issues with liver and pancreas, diabetes etc.
    This class is designed to work on two major pranas mentioned above. Hence we are working on the route cause. Moreover the whole idea is to find peace within. Live a stress-free, grudge free and content life!
    If this entire class is practiced everyday (atleast 5 days a week) for 3 months, I promise you will see great results.

    What is PCOD?
    All women have two ovaries that release an egg alternately every month. The ovaries produce androgens or male hormones in minute quantities. PCOD (Polycystic Ovarian Disease) is a condition where the ovaries release a lot of immature or partially-mature eggs which eventually turn into cysts. Some of the common symptoms are abdominal weight gain, irregular periods, male pattern hair loss and infertility. In this condition, the ovaries usually become enlarged and secrete large amounts of androgens that can cause havoc with a woman’s fertility and her body. The best treatment for PCOD often looks at reducing the severity of such symptoms.
    What is PCOS?
    In women with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome), the ovaries produce higher levels of androgen than usual, which interferes with development and release of the eggs. Some of the eggs develop into cysts, which are the little sacs filled with liquid. Instead of being released during ovulation, these cysts build up in the ovaries and at times even get enlarged.
    Polycystic Ovary Syndrome is a disorder of the endocrine system, while PCOD is a condition developed by the imbalance of hormones. It is believed that hormonal imbalances and genetics play an essential role in both conditions. The theory is that high levels of male hormones prevent ovaries from producing hormones and producing eggs normally. Insulin resistance and inflammation have also been linked to excess androgen production.

    At the first of the video you've suggested practicing full balanced class. What do you mean by that? You mean before starting practicing with this video, we should first do some other yoga practices?

    • @archiesyoga8929
      @archiesyoga8929  Před 3 lety

      This is a full balanced class! One of the common question people ask when they see a lengthy class on my channel is "can we just do 2-3 poses out of this video?" Hence had to mention in advance that it doesn't work that way specially for PCOD/PCOS!

      @@archiesyoga8929 @Archie's Yoga actually I wanted to do this full video before doing your other video named "yoga for tight hamstring and hips" every day. Can I do both videos together or it will be intense doing both of them? Currently I do your second video every day.

    • @archiesyoga8929
      @archiesyoga8929  Před 3 lety

      Both can be practiced together only if that's not tiresome!

      @@archiesyoga8929 thank you so much for the response. Another thing is that my periods are so heavy that I can not do this yoga on my first period days. But I don't want to stop doing yoga every day. Would you please make a video of yoga for heavy period days?
