I love the creepy cloth because its transparent and gives a bit of a spider web vibe rather than a thicker opaque fabric.

I love the way everything came out! If you're looking for any new ideas for your mantel next year I was imagining a giant round moon (cut out of thin wood, painted gray) with a black silhouette of Santa and his reindeer flying across it. This would all be in the background of all your other decor up there of course.
If it was a diy she could have a witch on a broomstick one to change out after Christmas.
Or Jack Skellington with zero and boney reindeer

I was also the fluffier in my house. My mom was is so particular about everything so I am like the expert fluffier! I love that you have some nostalgic pieces. My husband’s late granny loved Christmas villages. She had so many pieces. When she passed a part of her collection went to each grandchild. We display it every Christmas and have our own village pieces too! 🥰
I think the mantel works for winter actually! Honestly, winter has the stark look more than any other season IMO. The branchy trees look more like winter than fall to me even... Like real life. I adore both seasons... Much love!
I loveee the way the mantle came out! I didn't know about the interactive harry potter ornament! I'm totally going to start collecting them and do a harry potter tree one year! Beautiful decorating as always Jade!!

I also have a white tree with black ornaments. I use a lot of bats. I started doing it years ago to recreate the Nightmare Before Christmas scene where the bats fly out of the white Christmas tree. It would be cool to switch things up, but I just love the black on white look. 🦇
Hey Gouhl hey! My favorite nostalgic memory is getting my little brother out of bed and sneaking into my room to look out the window which faces a small airport and watch for Santa by looking for Rudolph 's red nose. Lotta blinking red lights at an airport. I can still remember the excitement we felt when we decided one of those lights was Rudolph and we both hurried back to our beds so we didn't dare get caught awake by Santa. I love your story of the Carolers too ❤

You could put a bigger solid black tree skirt on first, then layer the striped small skirt. Everything looks so beautiful!

I wish I could show you how beautiful it is!! They live in California and we haven't been out there since our dogs have gotten older and need special care, but its true Christmas magic!

We bond over that and when the clocks roll back and it gets dark earlier. She also likes the Christmas carolers. They reminded me of her. We love the darkness!! 🖤

We did a Harry Potter theme for our tree this year since it’s our first year in our first home. I hand made most of the ornaments. Also fluffing the tree branches was a whole family affair growing up, but I was notoriously bad at it.
Loving the mantel and the tree. I am reverse to you, black tree and white and black ornaments. I hate fluffing the tree. And I have four Xmas trees in my house!
I would love to do a similar theme, but my husband isn't a fan of the monochrome black and white unfortunately. I love the mantle, it's gorgeous. I think if I was to do that I'd go with lights more similar to what's on your tree, but I also love how untraditional the orange lights are. Your tree looks beautiful. The black on white with the colored lights is so pretty.

I have a gothic fairy/angel on top of my tree who started off life looking very different. She came from my Nan and when I was younger she had blonde painted hair and a beautiful crepe paper dress though over the years the paper disintegrated and fell apart. My nan then made her a pretty soft yellow dress which discoloured over the years and her painted face wore off so a couple of years ago, I repainted her face and hair so she looks goth and I made her a new dress, black netting under skirt and a black dress with red flock and I just love her. She's older than I am (54) and she's been around forever and I always remember her on my Grandparents tree and she's been on my tree for many years now. I hope my daughter carries on using her one day and fixes her up when she starts to look a little worn. She feels kinda like a sentimental family heirloom 😊 so many memories tied up in her.

I have a little black tree that i use for halloween and i make it more christmasy for christmas. I loave little black and silver ornamnets . I made black and white candy canes out of pipe cleaners i also did black and read.
Walmart sells a teddy bear glass figurine ornament and I have bought one for every year me and my hubby have been together. A few weeks ago I found our fifth set and that has been something we have done together. We also buy all the houses that Walmart puts out and create a village. Next year he will have to get me a new glass cabinet cause it’s a growing. Your home is beautiful and the decorations are beautiful as well.

I love the black and white for Xmas 🤩 I definitely have more color with my yule witchy vibes but I did more minimal this year and I love it. My favorite pieces are my snow fairy bathroom, my yule pentagram wreath, and my stockings my mom made me and my fiance a couple years ago. She's always hand made our stockings growing up so she made new ones to fit me and my fiance's "emo Xmas" aesthetic. Black corduroy stockings with red and black buffalo check accents and our initials with bells.🖤 She's amazing at stockings and she's the one who would fluff up the tree. I hate fluffing the tree cause it breaks me out and gives me hives on my arms😬
I would go buy an oversized white fun fur Xmas tree skirt and put it under that one to make it bigger. Maybe even add black fun fur if Joann's has any

So I used for Christmas decor is normal colors. Black decor I used for Halloween. But no matter many peoples like different way for any holiday. I saw wal mart have black/white tree plus other items too. Your decor is very nice. Why not if you want to put any decor for white with black? 👍😊😘🤟🏾🙌🏽🖤📱
