So so happy to finally be sharing this spooky season fall video with you. It has been incredibly fun to film. We decorate for Halloween, spend a day in Mystic Connecticut getting apple cider and donuts, visiting prettiest pumpkin patch in new england and exploring a haunted bookstore 👻 I also hope you enjoy the fall haul and some of my favorite things I've picked up this season 🍁

Do you know what I think I love most about your videos? They are often a mix of hauls, recommendations, day in the life, travel, baking, etc. and that’s so unique! its almost july and im so excited bc july is only 2 months before september and september is the start of fall!
I live in Salem and I always take 2 weeks’ vacation at the end of October to immerse myself in the season. This is the first year I live downtown and it’s been the most incredible fall being so close to everything that’s going on in town! Every day I’ve been going out and doing fall things like getting hot apple cider and reading in Salem Commons, getting Halloween-themed donuts and lattes from Jaho Coffee (love the pumpkin pie and the candy corn lattes), or just walking down the cobblestone streets taking in the leaves falling and the Halloween decorations on the old mansions. It feels like stepping into the 1800s 🥰 I went to a locals-only speakeasy last night and it makes me so happy to live in a town where people embrace the weird and dress up and don’t think about embarrassing themselves. I throw costume parties every year for Halloween but most people never even dress up and it was so fun to be somewhere in public where everyone was dressed up because usually other adults think it’s too childish. So excited for Halloween this year! 😄 Thanks for getting me even more excited, your videos are gorgeous! Like a warm fall hug lol

I adore how you talk about taking photos of little memories 🧡 Sometimes people scoff at how often I like to stop and take pictures of seemingly small or silly things, saying that I'm not "living in the moment", but I think it's the opposite - I'm appreciating moments MORE by taking photos of them, wanting to remember them and savor them and hold on to them and appreciate them for years to come. 🍁

Next time you're in that part of CT you definitely need to pop in at The Book Barn! They are a used bookstore and their setup is quite unusual (books are sorted by subject into different buildings and locations) and their prices are unbelievably good. This is the bookstore everyone in CT adores!

Desi, I struggle overwhelmingly with my mental health. For some reason though your videos on my hardest days bring me so much peace. My mind stops hating itself for a little bit and I’m able to just be in the present moment. I can’t put my finger on what it is? But I wanted to say thank you. Thank you for the courage to be who you are. Thank you for the courage to put yourself out there and make videos that align with what your passionate about. Thank you for sharing about your struggles. It makes me feel less alone.
