Lol When I told my family I was pregnant (after 6 years of trying) they looked at me the same way your mom looked at you. Pure shock until it finally set in. Lol. And now with our second baby, they all freaked out right away. I wish I had it recorded. Anyways, treasure these moments. From the pregnancy, to holding your little one for the first time, to hearing them say "ma ma" and so on. Time flies. Congratulations, ghoul. 🖤

I have this ridiculous empathy thing where if I see someone crying, I will start to get a little misty also. Doesn't matter if it's a tv show or a wholesome video like this one, but I'll feel those feelings too and have a few tears along with them. Your mom got me, just the way you could see her processing it and then it finally hit her that it was real. Yeah, she got me. I'm so excited for you and Dallas! When I saw the post on Instagram, I let out a hearty squawk because I didn't know if you and Dallas were thinking about kids or anything (not my business, TBH, you do you). Then I realized you were preggers during Halloween Decor Hunting/Vlogoween and then I let out another squawk because it was you and good ol' Mister Skeleton, but also a lil baby bat in that car! That clip of that Spirit Halloween animatronic flopping around groaning makes a lot more sense now. Congratulations! I can't wait to be welcoming in another member to our Spooky Family!

Thank you for sharing about your grandfather and his diagnosis. He sounded so sweet and I love that he got to know his little girl was going to become a mom.
(Also, my grandmother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and passed in 2005. So hearing your’s got to hear such special news brings me to tears. Congratulations again ❤)

Always nice to see when families are glad about a pregnancy. Last time I told my mom about one (my third) I was hoping for reassurance because it was a tough time to be pregnant but I wanted the kid. She just quietly asked whether we’d been trying to have another and I said we hadn’t been trying to avoid it (thinking that I wanted a third but it had been over four years and I’d given up hope) and she said, “That was the mistake your sister made.” Love the assumption that I didn’t want the kid. Mistake. Thanks, Mom. So I don’t understand your mom being so happy she cried about it but I get that people do that…

Oh I'm bloody crying 😂❤️ my mum had a brain hemorrhage four months ago when my boy was just short of 7 months, she's recovering very slowly in hospital but the videos of her reaction to me having a boy are so treasured and make me feel the same way, happy but hot eyes too! X

My husband and I were married 10 years, and we had been going through the whole infertility thing for 5 years before I finally got pregnant. I was 37 years old when our daughter was born. My Dad had already died, but my Mom and sister didnt believe I was pregnant either. They thought it would never happen. Four years later they were again surprised when we announced we were adopting a little newborn baby boy. I was by then 41. We are ancient parents! Our kids are now 27 and 23. Children are such blessings, no matter how or when they arrive. Congratulations to you both! You will be awesome parents!

We didn't think our son would have kids, so I can definitely relate to your parent's reactions and excitement! His daughter is now 2 years old, our little Princess--their announcement came right before Christmas, in a gift bag they had alot of tissue paper, and at the bottom was the positive pregnancy test! I'm so excited for y'all. I watched you nonstop waiting for my own baby, due late May, to arrive. We ended up hiding it from the whole family on both sides and it was so much fun to walk into places with a new baby and see everyone's reaction. My grandfather is also sick and we weren't sure if he was gonna make it up from Florida last summer. My sister got his reaction on video and it's my favorite moment to rewatch. I'm thankful I have it for when he goes soon too.

I’m so happy for you!! It makes my heart warm to know you were able to have that moment with your grandpa. Strangely enough, I can relate. We lost my grandma to stomach cancer while I was about 2-2.5 months along, but luckily I was able to tell her(we didn’t know the gender, I just had a feeling lol) and ask her about her birthing experiences(she had 4 children!). It’s definitely a gift to be able to have those memories.

I'm honestly happy you only got these short lips. they are the perfect length for CZcams and for you to remember, but most importantly, you were in the moment with your family and were able to savor those special moments with just your family and they will remain with just your family.
