  • Diamonds come from ancient kimberlite volcanos, often in clusters, and the first major step in finding the source of the Nipissing Diamond, is to discover kimberlite pipes in the area. RJK Explorations drilled their first new kimberlite discovery in February, 2020, and we've made a video for our shareholders, potential investors, the diamond exploration enthusiasts to explain the results.
0:20-0:55: RJK's diamond Project Manager, Peter Hubacheck, introduces the Kon claims and RJK's diamond exploration advisor, Gary Grabowski.
0:55-4:10: Gary explains the geology of the Cobalt area, and how diamondiferous kimberlite pipes made their way to surface.
4:10-5:06: The kimberlite dike drill results.
5:06-6:30: Kon 1 new kimberlite pipe drilling discovery
6:30-7:23: Gary explains his experience with diamond mines, and that it is his belief that there will be a diamond mine in the Temiskaming area.

My research has brought me to to conclusion that Canada's Geology was for ever changed when the Younger Dryas catastrophic event occurred. You are Diamond rich because Graphite meteorites destroyed Canada, North America while creating the waters of the Northwest Passage, the land mass of Greenland, Iceland, Sweden, Finland. It created the Pacific Northwest Cascade Range and The Rockie Mountains, while it carved the Grand Canyon as we know today. The shock wave from this event transfigured Earth's geology permanently. Thank you for an informative video. All the best in your explorations.

so then, why is there not a diamond mine in that area yet? Govt permitting holdups? Economically feasible amounts? That is, if explorations have yielded promising finds for a long time as the man mentioned? i’m quite curious. although, to be frank, i’m also an American with absolutely no education or knowledge on the ins and outs of how a company gets the rights to mine an area in Canada. Although I am nominally familiar with the o&g industry in Alberta.
