Love the case that comes with the ea500s and em6l very much so. They are the perfect size that doesn’t crush your connectors and you can hold your accessories with enough space for one of those packets to absorb the moisture.

I'm working on my Moondrop Kato review right now, and what I like about the FR of both the Kato and the EA1000 is neither of them seem to shy away from giving us just a bit more midbass for added warmth and punch which I'm a big fan of. Treble response is not quite as dark as the Kato. I'm interested in trying these sometime to make a comparison because they're similarly priced, have a lot of the same features, and are going for that more luxurious/premium feel.

one under represented aspect of IEMS is comfort. If you cannot get a good seal, it cannot sounds good, but that is a highly subjective metric unfortunately.

I take it you can’t get a seal on heavier iems? Try something like dunu s and s or spinfit w1 as they are longer tips. Or azla crystal helped me with my oh10. Divinus velvet keep a seal extremely well, but they make the iem a bit darker sounding for me.
