Ye, feels more like a proof of concept iem prototype that needed to be ironed out more. I don't see anything that would make you want to get the singolo at its current price bracket. Even at 50 dollars it's still a tough sell, since crin's other collab the truthear red exists which has tuning options, and also actual accessories.

this seems like such a good concept, and it seems to work well where tuning is concerned. But the fit issues and the lack of included accessories is a deal breaker in my book. Hell, if you specifically want a single dynamic driver in this price range that still includes a lot you can still get the OG Moondrop Aria.

Nice review. I think if the Singolo had a bigger scoop for their advertised "subwoofer like response" then it would've been fine, but right now it doesn't sound like a subwoofer - even the KZ Castor Bass at $20 is better lol. On top of that it's not "revolutionary" since both the IE600 and IE900 already did the resonator thing, but without the crazy marketing. If they didn't claim the subwoofer part it would've been fine (still overpriced), but they just had to hype the shit out of it 🙄

Yeah the hype definitely affected things and there’s just too many options out now that sound better at the same price or cheaper

The only eartips I could get a good fit with is Dunu S&S, sound is ok but no real sense of the subwoofer tuning, my Symphonium meteor hits harder
