- As a Hospital Patient Transport Dispatcher, you will be responsible for the timely coordination of patient transportation throughout the hospital. The Transport Dispatcher coordinates and prioritizes all patient transports with the hospital departments and hospital staff to ensure an efficient workflow.
The Transport Dispatcher coordinates and speaks with Charge Nurses, RNs, Techs, and House Sup to organize patient transport services in the order of critical priorities.
Minimum Qualifications for Hospital Patient Transport Dispatcher Job:
High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge. BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior dispatch, patient transport, or material management experience.

@@jackg231 I will. For now, short version, basic first aid tasks like cleaning wound & bandage, dress/undress pt, assist RN w/ BLS, exam transport (CT or X-ray). routine EKG exam for new intake patient also
