She is pretending to be meek and quiet but her mask slips every know and then when they ask her to speak up or repeat something and she snaps her response you can just see the irritation on her face.
I do not believe one word she says. She is guilty.
She sounds ( and looks) like a woman, whose tumbled out of bed, after a 30-year binge, of alcohol, sex, and lies, and thinks she's at the bar, trying to persuade the barman ( her barrister ) , to pour her a double brandy and give her a bed, for the night.
Married 5 times, first 4 husbands died under mysterious circumstances. Hopefully they will be reinvestigated and their families can get closure too

It’s never advisable unless they are pleading not guilty due to self defense-otherwise it just comes across as narcissistic and egotistical…..because we all know her attorney would have advised her not to take the stand because the entire case can fall apart under a fierce cross examination….but usually the Defendant believes they are smarter then the attorney and jurors and they believe they are so good they can convince the jury of their innocence…..it almost never happens and almost always turns out to be a massive mistake. I’ve seen many many trials and the only trial I can think of where the Defendant taking the stand may have helped the jury lean towards not guilty is- OJ Simpson…

No, she's not pretending that part. When you live in a place, where a foreign language is spoken, for an extended period of time, its quite normal for one to take on the accent. Precisely. My daughter was 8 when her dad ended his own life, quite unexpectedly. She is now 36, married, and STILL feels her father abandoned her. She recalls one thing about that dreaded day that remains crystal clear in her mind....."Dad walked me out to the bus that morning, told me he'd see me when I came home from school, and he wasn't there." To her, she's never had a father. Her college degree is in psychology, so she doesn't need explanation of depression or mental illness. That is how she has coped with her loss of him. And to see her beautiful daughter, full of pain, from all the lies she's been told over time, is heartbreaking. She deserved to know the truth. She obviously adored her father, and to now know how badly she was betrayed by those who were supposed to love and protect her must be devastating. I hope that Sicily finds some peace with the world now knowing what really happened.

First she knew what a crowbar was, assumes that it used for a tire, then says she must not know what a crowbar is, grabs the crowbar, says she thought about it for a second, then kept thinking about it, asked what she did with the crowbar and immediately motions as if to pick it up and strike something but probably someone and that being Robert. Then she quickly explains that the crowbar look strange because it was a wood with something tied to it. What she just described was a hammer. Then she loses her balance and somehow strikes Robert in the face while trying to catch her balance. How could she accidentally strike Robert, when she's coming down the stairs and Robert is down in the basement below her? I don't believe she never went in that basement since the day she moved in that house. Because it's creepy down there? How would she know if it's creepy when she never been down there? She also started to say someone grabbed her ankle, but was stopped by her lawyer and didn't say anything more about her ankle.
She actually did bring up someone grabbing her ankle again and he asked her if she knew who it was. She said no.

Instead of constantly asking the witness to speak up or lean WAAAY over to get closer to the mic, why not use a mic with a longer neck so she can move it closer to her mouth?
As I’m watching her though, when we hear her clearly she doesn’t at all have her neck strained. She is sitting regularly and without any oddness. So i don’t get what you mean by leaning WAAAY over. She simply just drifts off when we cannot hear her.
@@glenf6639 She is not leaning over, but in order to have her mouth 1-2 inches from the mic like she should, she would need to lean WAAAY over to get that close because it is on a very short mic stand.
They need to have a proper mic stand so that people do not need to shout or have to lean WAAAY over to use it properly.
