Have they asked you to be a character witness for her ? You should be. She needs all the help she can get. This case is so incredibly frustrating how important evidence was mishandled, thrown into red solo cups you drink in, put into stop and shop bags, and not into evidence marked bags. Someone could spend the rest of their life in jail for something they didn’t do. It’s just insane and sad that this is how they did their “investigation”

She is bold and carefully presenting herself; while her body language is not coordinating with her words.
She already said, she dated him in the past. He called her / message her as blast from the past.
What if he wanted to leave her again? there wasn't anything substantial he found in her; she is all over him in those pictures. She took care of his niece and nephew. Those things can give her entitlement issues. she went on and blamed the entire police department for it.

If this in fact happened - there's been (most likely) a mutually beneficial arrangement between both parties. • @iMatti00
      @iMatti00 Před 9 měsíci +24

I don’t believe in body language to the extent that a couple of you seemingly do. There’s certain times it can be helpful, and many times is interesting. But I will tell you that there’s been times, For example, that I have shook my head no when I verbally said yes, or vice versa. And I was literally just talking out loud to myself. I do that a lot. If I saw someone do that I would be suspicious they were lying. But my case I was answering questions along with some video or some thing, and I thought they were going to ask the question in the opposite way which would’ve made my answer yes, but they ask the differently which meant to be truthful I had to say no. But if you all were watching my body language you would be convinced I would lying.
I also think that people usually are mostly projecting confirmation bias when they look at body language. Maybe you’ve already made up your mind with other information you know about this case and so when you get new information it still doesn’t change your mind. I’ve done the same thing. That’s why they tell members of the jury not to State their opinion, because once you state your opinion it’s harder to change your mind later. Or maybe you know a woman or man, or the situation at hand, they remind you of some thing that happened in your past, so you’re more likely to be on one side or the other. And then subconsciously you look for ways to validate how you already felt either about this woman or the situation from your past. But people don’t realize they are doing it.

From here he contacts all of his connections so the first cops to arrive to the scene are his friends. The lead detective on this case Michael Proctor is a long time family friend so he immediately went to work helping them to cover it up. The neighbor directly across the street (who just so happens to be the ex chief of canton police) had a ring camera set up which would perfectly capture Brian alberts entire front yard/ house claimed his ring camera picked nothing up. He was coincidentally also good friends with Brian Albert. It should have picked up whatever happened whether it was Canton Cover Up Crew or Karen. If they had ring footage of Karen running him over obviously they would give it up. Proctor never sought this footage. He took the guys words for it. They didn’t ask any other neighbor for their ring camera footage and they deleted 2 minutes of the library camera footage that would have coincidentally exonerated Karen by showing that her taillight was in tact driving home from dropping him off. It sounds like a drama from a lifetime movie until you dig into the facts of the case and realize the connections and how deeply deeply corrupt these people are. Go to Turtleboy Daily News. At some point John is involved in a fight and later dumped on the lawn in vicinity of where Karen had pulled up. @@StephSilva-qw1lm that would be a good conclusion to reach if it was for the evidence that shows that the injuries to his body are in no way consistent with getting hit by a car. In the trial right now the defense has an expert medical examiner who has done thousands of autopsies and he is going to testify that his injuries are in no way consistent with a car accident. We can speculate all we want but that is kind of a huge plot hole. Even before this I thought, if he was hit by a car you would expect he abdomen to be bruised, ribs broken, pelvis broken, legs broken or injuries, basically places where a bumper (which is the first point of contact when a car backs into something) would hit someone. Instead we see no injuries on his lower body or abdomen and an injury on his arm and head.

She didn’t “leave him”, the agreement was that he would text her when he got inside, he never texted her so she just left. Kind of different than straight up leaving someone. She didn’t go home and just start calling either, she called once the early hours of the morning came and she figured he should be back by then. She might be lying about the alchohol she drunk but why wouldn’t she? The alcohol is the only thing that causes some doubt in this situation but that’s only excluding all of the evidence that works in her favor and the medical examiner testifying that his injuries in no way correlate to a car accident.

Have you followed anything with this case? Literally every facet of the investigation was done improperly. no chain of custody of evidence, holes in police video, video deleted in police custody, multiple state witnesses deleting phone records, destroying their phones. The state's theory of the case is that she hit him going 20 miles an hour, and he was thrown 30 feet. Victim only has injuries in his head area. And on and on. The lead investigator declared Read guilty less than a day on the case. He's also personal friends with family memebers of the house the body was found at. Which was never searched. A body was found on the fornt lawn of a house, and it was NEVER searched! They also replaced the basement flooring right after this. I could go on and on and on about everything wrong with this case. It's quite literally the most insane trial I've ever seen. It has nothing to do with her at all, it's the state's actions that are making this a story.

Another theory floating around (armchair detectives only, that I know of) is that there may have been a fight in the house, & that John was trying to leave on his own & simply didn't make it very far. Meaning, someone broke it up- possibly saying he ought to just go now or whatever- so John took off injured on foot, possibly passed out/fell down on the spot at corner of yard. If only a couple people inside knew what happened- such as a fight in the basement, for instance- then it would have been easy to keep it quiet, whether they knew he had fallen down outside, or even if they thought he was trying to walk home from there. They were all admittedly intoxicated, which skews people's judgement, actions, recollection, etc. Would also potentially explain the 2:27 am google search for how long it takes to die in the cold, & why nobody else (supposedly) saw him out there, or claims not to have. Just another theory, not my opinion~ too many missing connections & details to weigh in on it, personally.

They also have no clear accounting of what happened to their Uncle John that night, & they deserve justice as much as John O'Keefe does. Praying for all of the above, praying for Karen regardless of her involvement or not, and for all family members affected. I don't think that I would jump to that conclusion - I would assume he's with someone somewhere in their house sleeping it off. You would think of who he can be with or whose house and how he got there. She knows she hit him - she knew and that's why she knew to look for him outside in the snow, otherwise she ou would call everyone and go to everyone homes, you wouldn't think of searching outside until later. And...why would the people inside the house have confronted him as soon as he entered the home? This defense is one of the most ridiculous I've heard. Prior to there, she was at another nearby bar and several people testified that she bought in a cocktail glass from the other bar. You don't do a move like that with only 1 drink in you; that's something someone would do after a couple of drinks. So in the course of say 4 hours of being out at bars, it's very possible she had a total of 8 to 9 drinks. So definitely not sober and not thinking totally straight.

so why did she ask..if she hit him with the car? which she admits to asking "Did I hit him?"
So she certainly didn't think or believe it was impossible then, so why is it impossible now??
oh it's very possible to hit someone with a car when someone is over the legal limit that's the whole reason why it's illegal because people do hit people and other vehicles while driving under the influence.
She was intoxicated enough to hit his car in the driveway but not him???.. what are the odds that she hits her car on the very same night her boyfriend is killed and found in a situation that fits with how someone would be found after being struck by a car...
You would expect to find them on a road or just to the side of the road and that's exactly where he was found with his glass and straw.

How about cops at the scene who found "only few pieces of tail light glass", saw her car and never looked for other pieces until the snow melted later on? I will the investigation looks very shaky and leaves plenty of doubts. Let's not mention deleted messages and search from JEN's phone.

@@QueenofKings-mh7zn I just feel, the red flags from the start are, if you were dropping someone off at the get together, you’d either go in with them (unless there was an argument), or, you’d set up a time to pick them back up since he didn’t have a car to go home with. Plus, she knew where he was. You’d not wake up screaming that he wasn’t home yet. (Again) how would he get home without a car or a ride home? If I wasn’t getting him on his phone, I’d assume he was passed out on their sofa and wasn’t hearing it. I sure wouldn’t be calling Jen screaming bloody murder, I’d call her to get their phone number, or have Jen call them and ask them to have him call. After that, and then finding out he wasn’t there and he never came in, THAT is the time to panic, not before. She obviously knew she ran over him by stating (or even assuming) it. She went straight to him in the snow. He was so covered up (3-4 inches of snow), and being dark outside, there is no way she’d initially see him. I simply can’t believe alllllll of those people would be taking up for a teenager that supposedly hit him, or something. There’s just no way THAT many of them would. Maybe a few (the owners of the house and the brother), but not all. Maybe she didn’t hit him intentionally, but she 100% did. People say there’s no way he could have black eyes and scratches, but he could have been bending over by the taillight and bumper or wheel, or already fallen and was stumbling back up and hit because he was drunk and it was slick from the weather. Or, being mad and wanting out of the relationship, she could have intentionally hit him, people do all of the time. The courts are full of them. I think she realized he was using her to take care of his children as a babysitter, and she was already moving on to the new guy she was texting. She left him there to die, then headed home to come up with an excuse and a timeline to say she ‘happened’ to be looking down at her phone the very second he was supposedly at the door, so she assumed he went in. So ridiculous.

@@holylandfan3275 I’ve been trying to watch the trial. Like I said, I zone out and miss some. I’ve always felt that she’s guilty. That is one of the points that stood out to me. It’s possible that she was so drunk, hit him, fell asleep not aware that she hurt him so badly, woke up and vaguely recalled what she had done, immediately freaked out. I also believe her reaction to him not being home was over the top. The snow was not bad that morning. If you watch the dash cam video it wasn’t bad at all. The two things I’m waiting to hear about from the experts are: Jens search and if the time stamp can be explained and the information from Karen’s car. I do believe she will be found not guilty though. Not because she’s innocent but because the way the evidence was handled. I’ve never been a fan of trial by media.
