    Spectacular tour with some very helpful tips.
    The reward at the end is well worth the effort.

    Great informative video, I didn't hear anywhere if you mentioned the second less busy entrance that seems to be cheaper if someone wants a ride down to and from the falls or walk down and get a ride back up from the falls. We ran out of time during our Uvita visit and really wanted to go film the falls. Glad I got to see it from your video tho! Keep having fun!

      I have not explored the other entrance, but that may be a good thing to include in the sequel to this episode. I want to return when the water is a bit lower and see the difference.

      I think it is around an hour depending on your pace

    Great video and an ultimate guide indeed. Thanks a lot for sharing this. Nauyaca was on my bucket list last time, but we did not manage to go there, as time was too short😢. Hopefully on the next trip! Looked like a pretty cool forest walk also and, oh man, I remember my knees started to hurt when decending to waterfalls on steps like those. We visited numerous falls last time and we crossed signs saying "700 steps down!"...😅

      This one is well worth the effort of the hike.The steps down to the falls here are steep, but thankfully not to far. You may opt for the horse ride, considering you are an experienced rider.

    How steep is the hike from where you parked your car?

    • @CostaRicaStory
      @CostaRicaStory  Před 8 měsíci

      I couldn't give you any numbers as far as altitude gained, but there are no sustained steep areas of the trail. I would call it a moderate hike. Next time maybe I will use Strava fitness ap to get the actual gain.

    very nice...wouldn't you think "they" would build cement steps with all the tourist monies they reap.....somebody is making bank

    • @dirkswildworld
      @dirkswildworld Před 8 měsíci +2

      Oh yes...sometimes I wondered where all the fees and money goes at "tourist attractions". But that's Costa Rica, I guess😂 and often we asked ourself, why they didn't fix bridges, paths, trails, bathrooms etc. Not all should be excused with Pura Vida 😂...

    • @CostaRicaStory
      @CostaRicaStory  Před 8 měsíci +2

      Yes, that seems to be a neglected part of the trail. Some nice railings and steps would be helpful for sure. You are right, they must be taking in some good dinero, In dry season that place is usually packed.
