Wow, there are so many things to do in your area, really need to do more, when we will be there next time! Hopefully, we will have more spare time. You really need a full week just around Uvita!
Yes, this area can keep you busy, I think I could do a 101 things to do in the Uvita area video.
Great list! I'll be bringing my elderly parents here next year and this gives some good ideas. Also, is it legal to fly a drone in Uvita, especially around Whale's Tail? I would love to video journal our trip, but want to respect local laws. Thanks!
It is legal to fly a drone in Costa Rica, but not legal to launch from National park lands, which is what the whale tail area is part of. The rules are very similar to that of the USA including geofencing to keep drones out of flight paths etc.
Definitely on my list of places to visit in CR. Probably next year because I have to take care of a few things that came up this month. Buying a car and getting it up to my standards put a dent in this year's budget.
I hear you on that, my life was much simpler and less expensive here before I got my car, but it does open up new worlds for travel.

I would start with Don Roger, with a great view of the whale tail.

Aracari is a cool place with a nice open view, closer to the water, great for sunset drinks too.

La Percale in Dominicalito is on the ocean cliff with a pretty view and sometimes gets visited by monkeys
