Buenos días Señor Ed. 😎 Yes there are so many different lifestyles you can find here in this Southern area of Costa Rica. I found my little place and it’s been 2 years now in this one location after trying a couple of others, and I don’t know if I could ever live in a better place. I love it. I did get up early, but not at 5am, 7:30am today. L As for the bird sound, again I’d guess Macaws.

Living in Costa Rica has been one of the best decisions of my life. I’m still going back to the states to visit family every six months.

So we had this Patrol Base set up in the jungle and we ran night patrols from Howard AFB - Arraijan - Rodman Naval Station ...a really big area to cover so we were on 30 day rotations....30 days in the jungle and 7 days back at Rodman eating real food and drinking beer at night ..... The only water we had was for drinking ...brushing ones teeth.. and like making coffee ..... After about a week we smelled just like the jungle and the insects did not seem to pay much attention to us... Sleeping during the day was very difficult ...one day I woke up around 13:30 to see that I was surrounded by thousands of ants workers that had made trails like highways all around me but never touched any of my gear ...sleeping mat ...water ...pack...radio Ect......... Your Creepy Crawley mention brought this memory back ..... Thanks ...Excellent Video .....Ive traveled all over the World either solo or with companion... If we may we would to add to your story or future video................. Your Safe in the Hotel or Apt is ONLY safe when you are present ....its there for you to secure some valuables when you have friends over or a date Ect.......... 73

I like what you had to say, but I would like to add a couple things. Banking is a pain in the ass. Getting money down here and dealing w the banking system requires being patient! I would also add that ICE (electricity) has its moments. As for police services? Not much for gringos. I still love where I live and I do not let it change my positive nature. Just do not move down here and expect things to be like they are in the United States. In my opinion, life is better here.

Great footage! But, wow what an accident, man! We over here in Germany had a truck crashed into an highway bridge years ago. The bridge had to be destroyed completely and a totally new one has to be build! Frustration for a decade, as ALL have to drive thru a town. I know people, who decided to MOVE because of the constant traffic jam... Pura Vida Amigo

Hola Señor Ed. Great video and drone shots. This bridge was a temporary structure installed after the original 2-lane bridge suffered structural damage in 2020. For your normal processes of work here in CR, they did do fast work at replacing all the structural damage caused by this accidental truck crash. 👍

Excellent video Mr. Eduard👍; The people who crossed the river know that they should not do this if it is raining even a little, during this rainy season the rivers suddenly increase their flow.🇨🇷🕊🇺🇸

well they got the bridge open which is good....but i have never understood all these decades and c.r. does not replace these cheesey bridges with 2 lane real bridges..these are like army corps of engineers temporary bridges ...there are hundreds of these all over c.r....crazy that they have not used billions of tourist dollars to fund this...

I appreciate your channel, the insights you provide as well as the infos. Never mind the haters. It's not that they don't like you, They hate themselves and that's all they have to offer to the world. Flush their comments, block them and forget them. They are living in a dark place and they want to drag anyone, who would pay attention to them, in this dark bottomless place. Your channel is useful to some who cares like you. Thank You! Take care. Have you made any good friends in CR?

I do not like "edited" videos. There are too many "flashes" where it starts/stops". i find it very very annoying. I love the imperfect just get on and talk videos. I've actually stopped watching some people on YT who have like 200 edits in a video and I can see the start/stops and find it very annoying and distracting and do not like watching those.

I really think the one-take vids are so much more real and authentic!

Both types of video have their pros and cons. I love both, as long as Costa Rica is the topic and you are providing the good info as always! And, man, I will always stay up to the end😅!

Hey, Señor Ed, good to see you back of the air, it’s been awhile. First off the new action camera has a much more natural look to the image. The “one take” was just great, and, allows a little less fussing about. I’m sure there are many CZcams editors out there that suffer from the same issues with perfection. 2 thumbs up 👍👍 My opinion on the rock stacking..Meh!🤷‍♂️ So much going on here in Uvita I’m sure you never run out of material to film. One thing I think some of us miss was your breakfast “Live” from Mirador Don Roger. Look forward to the perspective on your recent trip to the U.S.

This has been our number one mission since the beginning of the year. Came to Costa Rica in April for a week but it’s hard to permanently get out of the states (Austin, TX) quickly. Appreciate you sharing.

yup, my plan when i get there after i sell the house is videos on the fly..no music unless you are making a movie or maybe a documentary- no reason for music sorry...no 360 needed - it makes people dizzy..it;s cool but for a moment....we do not care about editing to make a video seem perfect...just be you talking about and showing c.r.....happy editing; i mean no editing lol

I have been enjoying your videos. I own 2 beautiful rental properties in Coronado so Uvita is "going into town" when we visit (admittingly not enough). I appreciate the updates on what's going on in the area. I just love the area ❤! Fyi, also a native NYer but have lived in Texas many years. Family is still there and I love to visit there also. Keep up the good work!

My mother and sister are trying to make me pack up and move there from New Hampshire with my ten year old daughter 😳! And I might have no choice! Are there good schools there? Is it all is Spanish? We don’t know any Spanish! I’m worried the most about my daughter going to school there

I am sorry to hear that you had two layovers both ways with overnights in Charlotte. Wouldn't it be better to get a flight directly to NYC and rent a car from there?😮
