- We take the Groupo Blanco bus from Uvita to San Isidro de general in Pérez Zeledón, Costa Rica.
Exploring San Isidro by foot is a fun way to get to know the city and it's many attractions like
the Parroquia San Isidro Labrador PZ, San Isidro Del General
San Isidro is the 6th largest city in Costa Rica and the biggest city outside of the Central Valley.
There is a cooler climate here and it is the choice of many North Americans and Europeans for vacations. There are many stores for shopping and it is surrounded by beautful vistas.
Taking the bus from Uvita takes about two hours and costs only 1200 colones, about $2.50 USD .
Buses for San Isidro leave Uvita at 6am and 2pm.

BEST Morning Breakfast Coffee Video 👍, makes my beginning morning fresh start 😊
Salude amigo☕️☕️
good to have the buses available for when you need to get somewhere..i see many people use the buses to get around on vacations thus reducing cost tremendously...good stuff
They do come in handy and way cheaper that a taxi or shuttle
Lindo video Mr. Ed!
You have me thinking about leaving my car in Uvita and just taking the bus to San Isidro now.
Looks much less stressful for a day of shopping or whatever.
It’s a Macaw.
Well Senor Don, you were the first one to discover the hidden message at the end and you are correct, the sound at the end of the video was a scarlet Macaw. You really are paying attention 👀
You could catch the bus to SI, but it leaves Uvita at 6am, you would have to set your alarm😅
That's always a good move, not to focus on problems but see the beautiful things around. Though it might be hard. Over here, we are facing so many problems to get our house sold, I can tell you. Anyway, these scenic lovely bus rides are so gorgeous and a good opportunity in CR to get around! Also like the shady parks in city centres, so great to take a rest. Pura Vida to you!
Yes, San Isidro is a nice trip and you can’t beat the price of the bus ride🙂🤙🏼
@costa rica story i love you content and can’t wait to be free in 2028 when my military contract is over I’ve been prepare while in to leave the u.s
Thank you very much for watching and it won’t be long until you are here too!🙂👍
Jaja andar en bus es de valientes cuando hace calor o se llena mucho; pero es baratísimo
Si Eso es muy cierto.🙂🤙🏼
What do your money troubles entail? Maybe we can think up a solution for you if we put our heads together. Im a Machinist in Colorado, not a finance guy buy Im kind of smart.
Thank you for the thoughtful post and I appreciate your sentiments. My current financial situation is just kind of a perfect storm of unexpected expenses combined with a new business still trying to get its feet on the ground. This is just something I need to work through, like everyone else. I feel if I can get through the next couple of months and as my business grows I will be in a much better financial position. I have a web page talking about ways people can help Costa Rica Story continue to make videos. www.costaricamove.com/help-costa-rica-story
Thanks again for the sentiments, it is good to know good people are in my corner.
