I'm in a world of hurt at the moment and I know the Mighty All Blacks will be as well. To snatch defeat from the jaws of victory hurts, as does any test lost. 2. England have beaten the All Blacks twice in NZ 2003 the last time. South Africa 10 times in 2018 and 2019 a drew both in Wellington.
3. England don't know how to play back to back games against the All Blacks and actually win one of them. If you look at the last two games All Blacks and Springboks played it was anyones to win. ( you gotta back that ass up)

@@Jg-eg1hv that's you're opinion. ABs pretty much lost the second half due to pressure and agreed it didn't go their way but to blame the ref or the opposition would be naive to say the least.
This is good for the ABs to experience pressure rugby and hopefully they can take some positives out of it moving forward.

Die hard all blacks fan here. Winning the tournament is a travesty really. Mighty all blacks been bullied 2 games in row. How many lines out and scrums lost. Moody and Ofa need urgently to be scrapped. Akira proved facing big guys is average. Beauden Barrett is showing us but pretty hairstyle and useless kicking. Not any stable midfield combination. Codie Taylor had a shocker today. All Blacks are very soft first five and the coach team unable to to tactically respond. How Bower lost the ball with 10 seconds to play epitomizes the softness of their forwards. Well done South Africa you show a big heart and desire in front of much overrated opponents. Even all blacks won the tournament the Springboks showed them they are average team. I forgot the head coach is a useless guy scrap him urgently as new Zealand won't make the semifinals next world cup.

This game was such a nail biter. I pretty much lost my voice by second half.
Everytime the Springboks clear or does a box kick, I feel this deep feeling of fear when the ABs get the ball. The ABs running with the ball is still the scariest thing as a Springbok fan as they're the best at it, even way back from the full back.

They showed us today a bit what they can do by running the ball. I hope they play like that too ..absolutely brilliant. Reffing was a bit dodgy but it affected both teams so definitely didn't take anything away from the test match if at all it made it more dramatic. Big up the boks great match...from an AB fan
Also, must be said, Ardie is bloody brilliant leading from the front. He's a bit like Kolisi, gets so involved in the play he can be distracted from his leadership, but Ardie gets 11/10 for dedication and physicality and fronting up every single time (like Kolisi also, at least imho)
Thank you too on a fantastic game and this will go down as the game of the year. All Blacks haven't been tested in a while and it was good to see the pressure SA made. Trophies are in the cabinet but a wonderful game for the world to see TRUE rugby at the elite.

@@somelad5770 Yeah, I have respect for Sam Cane but I just really like Ardie in the leader role, his flair and attitude kinda represents the ABs more for me. But that's my outsider perspective.
That is more like it. I thought we used the high ball more sparingly with more intensity from our pack and good use of the running ball out wide. Look what happens when we take it to the AB's as opposed to kicking away possession, absorbing mountains of pressure while hoping to pick up a few scraps. We put the best team in the world under pressure and won. This is how it used to be...never knowing who was going to win and the winner never winning by more than 10 points. It was a good game to watch...moments of brilliance combined with arduous (yet fascinating) grinding rugby from both sides.
As an AB supporter in the end I didn't want the Boks to lose, I was torn. They were by far the best team on the day. Great performance.
The thing that makes me proud that even though sa lost to aussie twice 1 victory over us is priceless. Great teams. Aussie and Argentina too.
And is it priceless that NZ won the Rugby Championship? Or the world expected that..... food for thought.

Congrats Bokke on the win still would love to see them use more of the ball. We saw a glimpse of that tonight and they scored 2 tries. For the All Blacks they still can’t sort out the break down against the Boks and our set pieces were awful especially line outs. Credit to the Boks they put the ABs under a lot pressure. World Rugby really needs to look at the game we having water breaks, players changing their shorts, players tying their shoes. If it’s not a head injury continue playing. Perfect example the NRL is so fast that the players couldn’t even catch a break. Rugby is a wonderful game.

I must say, SA have a way of making us look mediocre. They were the vastly superior team today. If we don't have space to run we are wholly ineffective. Our defence is embarrassingly bad. Their scrums, lineouts and defence is much better than ours.
Very unbiased and perceptive comments. SA succeeded in closing down the ABs on attack and prevented them from getting into their rhythm of play something they were not able to do against AUS who were far more adventurous (almost reckless) than NZ. Recalling of Quade Cooper to flyhalf was a master stroke SA's players hadn't much experience of him. Not trying to make excuses though for SA players abysmal showing.
Now thats how Great the mighty Boks can be when they throw that ball around ... Hard luck ABs ,i wasnt too worried about losing this game im just glad we won last weeks 100th test ... Good to see the Champs Playing Southern hemisphere Rugby again
I have an unpopular opinion; ABs vs Boks is bigger and more entertaining than the Bledisloe Cup. Thank you again NZ. Amazing country, amazing people, amazing RUGBY! Can't wait for us to play again next year. God Defend New Zealand!

I've observed that there are two two types of fans, from all teams. When the Boks lost last week a small minority of AB fans just said the most bitter things to rub salt in the wounds, like the Boks style is killing rugby, not worthy RWC champs etc etc. It takes a day like today where you see the true AB fan come out by showing respect for the game and the rivalry by congratulating the Boks win. Congrats to the AB's for winning the Championship, well deserved.
That's the thing - it wasn't just certain ABs fans saying it. Everyone was piling on, from both hemispheres. Events many Bok fans were criticising the game plan. In this game, the Boks actually decided to run with the ball and use their backs for once. And it worked. Not only was the game more entertaining, the Boks actually won. So the critics were actually correct.

Ref gave some shocking calls against both teams Steyn was hard done by for his tackle on McKenzie and they blew a penalty for Jordie barrett not releasing when etzebeth was holding on and not rolling away

What a awesome game, well done SA for picking up the tempo and changing the game plan to run a bit more. This game was way better than the curtain raiser. Some of the NZ forwards got out muscled at breakdowns, scrums and lineouts will need to be sorted before northern tour.
