He's definitely not a legendary playoff performer, but hey at least he's making progress. If the two teams played in 2022, and Lamar was playing, there's no way Cincy would have won that game even if Jackson ended up struggling. Why? Burrow got mauled by the Ravens' defense all night. (He should never have said that he enjoyed playing against them) The reality is this. The Ravens usually dominate the Bengals in the trenches, and the only way Cincy has a chance is if REFBALL slows Baltimore's offense down. (The Ravens had 3 combined TDs called back in both games against the Bengals and they still won those meetings)

Now he’s making top 5 QB money, Higgins is up, Chase needs an extension next year, the OL still sucks, Mixon is gone, and Callahan is gone. They're one of the worst run franchises in the league! Could’ve gotten a 1st plus for Tee last season AFTER Burrow went down and you knew it was a lost year. Now you’ll lose him for NOTHING next season(comp pick isn’t a guarantee so that’s irrelevant). Also, I’m a Burrow guy since his one year at LSU. I know,! He only played one year. It just happened to be the greatest year any quarterback has ever had in the history of college football. Healthy, he is the real deal. He clearly isn’t Mahomes,,but come on what player is, active or retired save Brady or Montana? So I’m cautiously optimistic they can rival KC going forward, but nobody can take away 3 rings, even a run this year. But Cincy is all chips to the middle for this season. If Joe can stay healthy, really they need to to make that run now. Can’t wait God I love the NFL

Bengals were built to beat the old Chiefs team ... fast, finesse, explosive, no physicality offense, with weaknesses at coverage and pressure.
Bengals forced the Chiefs to transform into a more physical offense, and become top tier in coverage and pressures. That's why the Chiefs beat them in the playoffs with an injured Mahomes, one healthy WR in MVS, Travis, and a bunch of backup WRs and TEs.
They've lost their advantage, and it's the Bengals that now have to transform their team, and despite all this time, they still haven't fixed their OL.

Bengals honestly have the cleanest win vs the Chiefs in the playoffs. Pat has only lost 3 times, with 2 being to Brady. Of those two, he lost the first because the defense was terrible and Dee Ford jumped offside. The second because Pat had zero time because of OL injuries.
As a Chiefs fan the Bengals just made Mahomes forget how to play football for a half, something I’ve never seen him do since in a playoff game. Plus that AFC Championship game was incredibly close
