Supposedly "original gangster”, can be seen as “old generation", personally viewed as “old-school”.🤓 I’ve been into Korean music since 1998 when I was 15, and using “kpop stan” is more catchy (super cringe or not) than “person who’s listened to Korean music since 1998”, amirite or AMIRITE.😂

I became an avid Korean music aka Kpop listener/lover since 1998. Korean and rap music were my coping mechanisms from the bullying I experienced in middle school through high school and my love for the genre has stuck by me ever since. The genre, along with artists like Michael Jackson, Aaliyah, Britney Spears, etc. then motivated me into becoming a hip-hop/pop dancer, which was a very active lifestyle for me literally throughout my whole 20s. (XTRA DANCE 411- I danced for, trained, and performed with 4 different dance teams. My first and main dance team who started my "dance life" was with Marvelous Motion (who later became IaMmE, America's Best Dance Crew Season 6 Champions). A lot of my dance training came from Di "Moon" Zhang, Brandon "747" Harrell, Emilio Dosal, SOREAL, and from attending many dance classes in Houston and L.A. (from amazing local talent to widely-known talents such as Parris Goebel, Keone Madrid, Kyle Hanagami, Lando Wilkins, Mister Wiggles, Rino Nakasone)
Unfortunately, I took a huge break from Korean music and dance around 2015 when I was officially diagnosed with lupus nephritis, seizures, and a heart murmur. I was receiving and battling years of chemotherapy and dialysis along with taking 32 pills a day, so I had no mental/emotional/spiritual room to keep myself updated with Kpop or dance. Luckily, I'm in remission now. That doesn't mean that lupus and seizures are gone because I am still very capable of frequent flare-ups if I don't take care of myself, but I make sure to do so enough to manage and live as "normally" as possible. I am also not capable of being an active dancer like I used to be due to my chronic illnesses, but I’m still a dancer in my mind, heart, and soul.
ALSO! Just to be SUPER clear- me calling myself an "OG kpop stan" does NOT mean that anyone who's listened to kpop after me is inferior or less-than. A kpop lifestyle is a kpop lifestyle regardless of time. Please don’t get that sh*t twisted.😛 Sooo I am currently and actively keeping a weather eye on the KPOP horizon and also using what I’ve learned from my dance years to give credit where it’s due!

The way they perform the steps is so good to look at because they make their movements big. Niki as the main dancer, when they were still in I-land he always teach others to make their movements big so that it doesn’t look lousy and I think that’s their biggest advantage on the other tho they make the steps so clean through big movements
Yeah that's the truth. Certainly at I-LAND, NI-KI taught everyone that way.
In the bridge part you can see them making moves like they're throwing, catching, or holding a ball. They performed with a rugby ball on some of their live stages. Their studio choom performance of this song features the rugby ball. They didn't use it often because the ball was hard to control. They never dropped it during a performance, but there were a few close calls or interesting catches.
While agree it's risky with a ball in live performances, they revealed on vlive that they were wary of using it at music shows because when sunghoon throws the ball backwards it can damage the set!

omg since u really like the 80's feels in this song, I really recommend u listening to the whole album maybe on your own time. The whole album literally screams 80's and 90's vibe. you might vibe with some of the songs in it.
Definitely have a look at another two tracks with choreos on the album, Go Big or Go Home, and Upper Side Dreamin'. They both have a 90s 00s feel to me, in terms of the song itself, the choreo, and even the wardrobe they went with. Go Big or Go Home has real 90s eurodance vibes to me. They're both bops though. Side note: On the comeback stage they performed a section around the 2min mark with a rugby ball (where they're miming throwing and catching here). They didn't do it for every stage due to the not wanting to damage the sets and the general prop awkwardness, but I would've liked to see them use the ball in the practice.

Thank you for reviewing Enhypen! I love your videos and Enhypen is my favorite Kpop group. I’m 33, but Engene are such a diverse fandom. The members are extremely talented and it’s inspiring watching how hard these guys are working for their dream. Enhypen brought me so much joy through these difficult COVID days so they will always be a special group to me.
