Supposedly "original gangster”, can be seen as “old generation", personally viewed as “old-school”.🤓 I’ve been into Korean music since 1998 when I was 15, and using “kpop stan” is more catchy (super cringe or not) than “person who’s listened to Korean music since 1998”, amirite or AMIRITE.😂

Okay, honestly and not being biased...Heeseung, Yeonjun and Jay was straight on 🔥 during fire cover. And Ni-Ki literally caught everyone's attention for BangBangBang with Taehyun being the centre of spotlight. TVXQ's song, i like how they slow down the tempo of the song. It's more smooth. And SE7EN's song... I'd say enhypen did the best cover for that song tho it's not a full cover.

On a recent VLive, Jungwon mentioned that both he and Sunoo covered EXO's 'Growl' for their (respective) school's music festival, so it was fun for them to do the song with ENHYPEN.
I will never get over this collab! I have been looking forward to this ever since I-Land with Heeseung being trainees with TXT. My heart is full too. So happy! They looked like one group.

I loved this so much, pure nostalgia. It really made me think about how long I've been listening to kpop. It's been like 10 yrs, and I was a little surprised I knew every song they used. Until a few years ago I just listened to songs I liked without paying attention to artists, so I had no idea who I listened to really (though I distinctly remember T-ara Roly Poly was the very first kpop song I ever listened to, it had just come out and I was OBSESSED, saved the youtube video as an mp3 and made it my ringtone for YEARS). BTS was my gateway group. I realised one day over half of what I was listening to at the time was BTS, admitted defeat and started learning names. All downhill from there, now I'm collecting groups like it's my job. 😅
Also about the TVXQ & TXT thing being unexpected, TXT actually did a cover of HUG for last years KBS and it was also amazing. When they came together for Bang Bang Bang I actually did a pathetic little excited squeak. Not just because it's a bop and a half, but because one of Ni-Ki's goals was to perform with Yeonjun, and I was thrilled for him. It's so lovely to see them just performing together. Many of them were friends when they were still trainees or predebut, and it's so nice to see them able to dance together and just enjoy this performance.
I just have to say that Huening Kai honestly owned this stage completely, every single second he was on stage he delivered, his vocals, dancing, stage presence, visuals and facial expressions are top notch, he is insanely talented and versatile, he really caught my attention

What I love about this collab stage was that all of the members were in sync with each other for the choreo but they didn’t lose their distinct personalities in the performance. Each person showcased their own charisma which was awesome. Happy Holidays and I wish you a healthy 2022! 🎄✨
