I've always used the term "OG" (supposedly "original gangster”, can be seen as “old generation🤓”) to define being “old-school”, and I became an avid Korean music aka Kpop listener/lover since 1998. Korean and rap music was my coping mechanism from the bullying I experienced in middle school through high school and it's stuck by me ever since. When I made this CZcams name, I was thinking from my graphic-design-major perspective of a brand that will not only describe what my content will be about but will also align with the times, and y’all know that “Kpop stans” have been a thang for awhile now so... OG + KPOP STAN. (My love for Eminem is also relevant.😂) ALSO! Just to be SUPER clear- me calling myself an "OG kpop stan" does NOT mean that anyone who's listened to kpop after me is inferior or less-than. A kpop lifestyle is a kpop lifestyle regardless of time. Please don’t get that sh*t twisted.😛

The youngest member is actually only 15! He is the most advanced dancer out of them too, Ni-ki is insane.

why are reaction channels like you so underrated??? I mean? These are the kind of reactions that people should be watching. 'Some reactions channels' were just like "omg they're so great, i love it, imma stan now" without pointing out even small details. Your explainations are on point! Please do more reaction videos and I wish the best for you channel
i feel like a majority of people tend to believe reactions channels without a second thought. almost all of the BIG reaction channels overhype things for views but people think it's their genuine reaction and think those are "better" reactions than channels like this. Personally i hate channels like that and prefer channels where either people give genuine opinions on whether they like something or not / more chill reaction where they are actually interested in the details. but the majority of people apparently can't tell the difference between genuine and fake and don't prefer indepth reactions like this.

Thank you so much for the reaction! I’m also really looking forward to their growth, this song was already hard but it’s even more impressive considering the limited time they had to complete it. 5 new choreos in under 2 months from the survival show on top of all the shooting and singing.
Having watched since i-land, this group definitely has one of the strongest dance lines in the 4th gen, their upcoming comeback will probably be insane since they’ll have had more time to actually practice. Most people will have already mentioned Ni-ki, definitely a prodigy and my bias, but all the rest of the group are also extremely fluent in dance-there’s a compilation of their dance jams and the freestyling/shenanigans is pretty entertaining. Since they don’t have any other non-live performances I could link that video if you like!
(I don’t know if you react to that sort of fanmade video though lol)
They also have a Relay Dance of “10 months” (not sure if relay dances prove to be copyright problems), but it’s another one of their tracks and, tho not as technically impressive, very enjoyable and you get to see their facial expressions up close. They’re definitely naturals. It’s also one of the most coordinated relay dances i’ve seen!

Unfortunately, they don't have dance practice for Let me in, but they performed four songs from the album during debut show (Given-taken, Let me in, 10 month, Flicker), usually i see reactions for this one, but I'm not sure if it possible, because it's mnet..
And another one which i recommend to watch is their performance on CDTV Live! It's also on their channel, they did a dance break
I really love their choreography too. One of the meaning of their name is Connection and you can definitely see that there are a lot of parts wherein it should be done with all the members involved. And a lot of dance key points which is also connected to the lyrics. I subscribed because I love your honest reaction and you really have a lot of input! ❤
Like others mentioned, Ni-Korea did a dance cover to Jimin’s Lie. Then there’s Let Me In (20 cube) Dance Performance Holiday ver. which is them doing choreography in a cute way for the fandom (ENGENE). There is also Chamber 5 (Dream of Dreams) Dance Performance (Halloween Fruit ver.) which is too cute because of the costumes. Too bad the rest are live performances (and debut show performances) as of now until comeback.
Ah you explain things so well! Like I love their choreography, but I can't explain why I love it other than it's amazing. But I'm just nodding along to everything you said, like yes that's it, that's why I love them.

oh and also please please please please pleeeeeeease react to ni-ki... he is the youngest in the group (15 years old) and he is a dance prodigy. he has covers of justin bieber's "come around me" and jimin's "lie", and his dances on weekly idol were also great (he covered taemin's "idea" and seventeen's "hit", bts "dna", etc.) he has really good technique and his dances are so satisfying to watch. please take a look!

Third, I never thought I would meet (ish lol) someone into Kpop longer than I! It's been since 2005 for me and people always freak out when they hear how long haha. So thanks for showing that us long-time fans do exist AND can love and appreciate the new groups too, so thank you for the representation!!! Kpop isn't just a little phase for a year or two because a certain band blew up the BBMAs, kpop is a musical genre to love.

You should definitely react to Ni-ki’s Lie cover (by Jimin from BTS). He’s Japanese and just turned 15 years old (internationally). He’s been dancing since he was like 3, and is called the mini Michael Jackson. You have to watch his covers or Fancams, he’s amazing

I think my favorite part about the choreo here is when they do the twisting move in the chorus when they're "turned" by the center member... the lyrics are literally talking about turning over the world. The whole thing is just so good though, it doesn't feel like a debut.
Their name is formed from the word hyphen (the abbreviation is EN-) . Bang PD said hyphens connect things just like they'll " come together to connect, discover and grow together to create a new act." Sometimes when Jake is speaking English, he pronounces it Enhyphen. Korean doesn't have an f sound so Fs in English words are often changed to Ps in Korean. Though, it's fun that it ends up with the word hype in the middle.

my favourite bit of enhypen trivia is that sunghoon (the member in the black and white bomber jacket) is a former professional figure skater who ranked 7th among male figure skaters in south korea when he was sixteen-seventeen and was apparently even on the reserves for the olympic team. so much talent in this group.
