The best Legacy/Outback generation. The Spec.b sedans, and neat turbo wagons were interesting. Really nice near-luxury interior, compelling features, probably Subaru's best looking body design ever. Most of the alloy wheel designs were great, too. The 6 cylinders are a pain to maintain. Everyone knows the EJ25 drawbacks. Still see plenty around almost 20 years later, and that's not because they are really that reliable. People love them.
