Iv got my mother's 05 v8 SRX, its got a bit over 100k on it now, the only issue we have had was with the huge sunroof. we were told it was ine if the 1st with it and it stoped opening after 3 years, Cadillac payed off the remander of the loan do to that. I like this car ans it actualy feels faster than our XLR.

Rolling mediocrity. They were the worst, most obvious signs of GM cost cutting. Even the SS was awful as it ate transmissions for breakfast.

I used to troll these and those stupid Marauders with my GS400 when I was a kid all the time. So slow with 50 percent more displacement.

I bought a 1999 Grand Am with the 2.4L in 2001 with 12,000 miles on it. Put an additional 215,000 on it. Motor had metal on the dipstick. Sold it (disclosed motor issues) and new owner did an engine swap from a junk yard. They put another 70k on it until they had an accident around 2013. They sold it, next owner fixed it. I heard a rumor it was riding around town still with close to 300k by 2019. That’s the last I heard about the car.

I have a 2009 sx4 crossover with a manual. Got 237k miles on it so far with very little repairs. Great car and parts are not expensive and it's easy to work on.

Loved my 2005 6MT. I had the Aspec kit and it looked so good. I took it to the track at 900 miles and ran back to back 14.5 ET. I was good with that. I sold it in 2011. Regret!

Came so close to buying a 96 SS Camaro...and then a 00 SS. Just couldnt get past the dash that you could sleep on and half the engine under the cowl. Like the looks of the LTx camaro better. Put better heads, a hotcam and headers on those cars were smog legal 12 sec runners all day

210 horsepower in a family car would have been insane back in 1995 , specially considering that Accord's and Camry's were only producing sub 160 hp with their V6's

ACTUALLY, the 1999-2002 Aluminum Block, 3.5 liter V6 engine was just fine. It does manage to spin the BIG rear tires, but there could have still been a Hard Top HIGH-PERFORMANCE TRIM. It's not like Plymouth and Chrysler had no other engine options around at the time. There was just no reason to come so far with such an advanced exotic looking car, only to lack a higher performing trim version of the same car. If Lotus was able to swallow its pride and make a smart deal with Toyota, then Plymouth or Chrysler could have done something similar, while still keeping the car ALL AMERICAN MUSCLE. They could have borrowed the 4.0-Liter Oldsmobile Aurora Indy V8 engine that was naturally aspirated. Another power option could have been borrowed from the Buick Grand National (GNX) Turbo Charged 3.8 Liter V6 engine. Incredibly, this car was actually faster than the Corvette and the Lamborghini Countach. 🤫 TALK ABOUT OPPORTUNITY MISSED, but nowadays, there are plenty of owners who have done God's work and Hot-Rodded the Hot Hod. Some Prowlers have been swapped with Dodge Hellcat Engines, and even a few with LS engines. We thank them.

Car companies kills these cars. They say everyone wants an SUV. Not true, Its cheaper for them to build because they don't have to meet the same fuel economy standards as car... Why do you think you see so many Trucks and SUVs on the roads. Its all about the money.

I've got a well used 09 AWD GS350. It still has decent power and handles very well in the snow
